ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

TITLE: IMPROVING READING COMPREHENSION AND BASIC GRAMMAR


SKILLS

Objective:
This proposal aims to address the observed deficiencies in reading comprehension and basic
grammar skills among students. The communicator’s club aims to provide a comprehensive
solution that enhances their English language proficiency, ultimately improving their academic
performance and communication abilities.

Situation: A number of students have demonstrated challenges in reading comprehension and a


lack of proficiency in basic grammar rules while using English. These skills are fundamental not
only for academic success but also for effective communication in various contexts. To address
this issue, we propose the following solution:

Proposed Solution:
1. Implement a Reading Comprehension Program
 Utilize a variety of reading materials, including books, articles, and digital resources.

 Incorporate comprehension exercises and questions to assess understanding.

 Regularly monitor and evaluate progress through assessments.

2. Grammar Workshops and Exercises


 Organize regular grammar workshops and classes specifically the use of singular and
plural verbs, nouns/pronouns, and subject-verb agreements.

 Provide practical exercises and assignments to reinforce learning.
