TRAVEL BOOK
CHAPTER ONE:
My life about traveling, at the moment that you ask me that, I will say,
“no, I don’t travel so much”, but at the moment I started to think, I realize
that I travel a lot. I live in Pereira, but I didn't born here, from here, I
travelled to Cartagena, Cartago, Cali (I can't remember how it is),
Bogotá (mainly, a place called Granada), Tolima, Medellín, Manizales
and Dosquebradas (that counts, right?), that are the short big trip around
Colombia, because the little travels was to the school, the University, the
Temple and churches, etc; but the most big travel that I made, and I
never came back after that was when I was still a baby (6 months),
because I would leave the place where I was born, and come to here
and live in Colombia. I was born in Lima, Perú, and during the time I’m
here, I know many people, and everyone of them are the greatest friends
that I have, but this book isn't only about my travels, because I never
travel alone...
Though I said that all my family, my mom occasionally we bring her with
us, cause she’s sick(arthritis) and cause of it, she can’t handle the bigs
travels or temperature changes, so we leave here in home, but
sometimes we take her with us and travel with her to Bogotá.
All our travels are tied with our community / religion: “Hare Krshna”, so
the places where we stay is in temples or centers about our religions, we
only by courtesy we bring them something or leave a donation, cause
they are doing so much for us to letting us to stay there
Sometimes we went to places for our own, sometimes we went to places
because of a friend, (the last time we went to Bogotá is thanks to
Bhima(you can check him in the future chapter three)), and we are
known like musicians, cause the most of the time we travel with
instruments… or travel to work like musicians. So our travels are divided
like old business, like musician, and travelling for enjoyment.
Old Business: When my little brother was, well, more little, we travel for
business, we make clothes, and we travelled to Cartagena to selling
them in the Ferias, but i only can remember the experience of swim on
the beach, go over a boat and visit historical places, a, and drink / lick
salad water (I was a kid, ok?).
Musicians Jobs: Our music job and travelling are about what music we
play, and we are playing Flamenco music. We go out to the restaurants
around pereira and, with the Covid, we go to the apartments too, and
sometimes we get presentations, before we go to Dosquebradas, but
thanks to quarantine, we didn't go back there. Often we go to Cartago,
because there are more person who likes this type of music and is more
cheap than others like Manizales, but one day, around we get to ferias in
Manizales, and know some people and go occasionally, cause that
people, an spanish restaurant like our music and we get contracts for
there.
Enjoyment: when we went to Bogotá with my mother, we can’t bring the
instruments, so we take care of her cause she is fragile, but she is
beloved for everyone of the devotees by there, so we take that sacrifice
to see everyone happy, so that's our trip for enjoyment, but one day we
get there with the instruments, and there take party all the day, was fun
those days.
Bogota is our favorite place to travel, cause in Granada, is a countryside
called Gouranga Radha Vrajesvara, Varsana, there take an especial
festivity, Janmastami, devotees met there and take a big festival cause
that was the day (astrologically) when Sri Krishna down to earth.
CHAPTER 2:
In my first trip, the most I needed was the ticket, baggage and the
transport to go from Peru To Colombia, no passport, cause I already
have a nationality of Peru and Colombia, Peru was born and Colombian
nationality was because of my mother, she is from Colombia.
The others traveled around Colombia with some baggage, travels of 1
and 1/2 weeks max, or half day as min. We only needed the money
necessary to go from a place to other and sometimes called our friends
for stay with them in the meantime( i never had been in a hotel)
We met very nice people, like Pavitram and his family, the best friends of
our family, they are owner of a vegetarian restaurant here in Pereira, or
these are too Ambarisha, with another restaurant too, we met sometimes
and celebrated some holidays.
All our travels are tied with our community / religion: “Hare Krshna”, so
the most people we meet are in this community too (and yes, Pavitram
and Ambarisha are of these community too).
When we travelled to Bogotá, the people that we know depended who
traveled there too. In the Seva, the central place in Bogotá, there is
(insert names of the people who lives there(I can't remember their
names, i’m bad for record names on my head)) everyone beloved there,
always asking for my mom, cause occasionally we bring her with us,
cause she’s sick(arthritis), and she doesn’t handle cold environment of
Bogotá by herself, and worst in Granada, Bogotá, cause there is even
more cold than Bogotá itself
I was writing this in the first chapter and then I realized that this fit
with the third chapter instead of the first, so, I moved here for no
lost it. ☺☻
