Listening Activities for Language Learning

Students listen to a recording of a conversation between an interviewer, a mother, and a father about their daughter Sarah and her boyfriend. In 3 sentences: The mother and father say they liked Sarah's previous boyfriend Jeremy but he didn't last long after they told Sarah they approved of him. The father thinks it's important for Sarah's next boyfriend to come from a similar background and have some qualifications or ambitions. The mother agrees and says it's essential for the next boyfriend to get approval from Sarah's parents in order to have a lasting relationship with Sarah.
