Care
• In terms of care, I always think about other people success alongside
mine. I try to guide or help people around to explore and increase
their knowledge in various ways. For instance, I’m currently pursuing
my Diploma in Management and in it we have monthly modules to
complete in order to keep up with our studies. In every module we
have case study in the end which we have to complete in order to
finish that module and score well. I still remember when we get our
first case study and the deadlines were tight. The case study was very
complex so, I decided to plan a group discussion to assist other
students and it turns out really well. We discussed our views and
almost everyone was able to score well.
Unwavering Work Ethics
• As an HR executive, I mentor job seekers to help them get ready for the
interview stage of the process. Finding and reviewing resumes is the main
focus of my work. After that, I reach out to the best candidates and assist
them with the hiring process. Since I began working until now, I have
helped a lot of candidates, and five of them have also had the opportunity
to work with our client, the Department of State. Nonetheless, there were
numerous instances where applicants were turned down or lied about
their skill set. Even during those periods, I kept up my hard work and
searched for innovative approaches to identify and support qualified
applicants. There were almost 4 to 5 times, when candidates backed off
after clearing all the interview rounds, even in those times I continued to
be committed towards my work and tried my best until I get good results
even if it means for me to work extra.
Persistent Resilience
• Well since, school days I have been very consistent towards my
studies and extra-curricular activities. Even if the most dire situation
comes, I try not to discontinue or break my schedule. For instance,
during my whole high school, my dad was extremely sick and because
of that I was unable to continue my classes. And just few months
before my exams, I lost my dad. I had barely 2 to 3 months to study
for my boards and by being disciplined and consistent I was able to
pass with 80% in CBSC board even after going through this much of a
hard time.
Curiosity to learn
• Ever since my childhood days, I have always been that curious child who
wants to explore every other facets of opportunities to learn before
settling on to one. During my high school days, apart from studies I learned
Martial Arts and Gymnastics while keeping my grades high and went on to
pursue commerce. Just after completing my 12th I decided to pursue my
graduation in Literature from University of Delhi. While pursuing my
graduation unlike any other student, I opted for a certificate course in
German Foreign language from St Stephens College, Delhi University,
because of the appealing nature of foreign languages. In every facet of my
life, I tried to learn whenever I get the opportunity. When it comes to
learning in my work life, before turning into a full time employee I did a 3
month long internship with the same company patiently and learned from
scratch regarding US recruitment process. My manager and senior were so
considerate and motivating that even though being from a different
background I grasped everything easily under their guidance.
