Contributions to Friends of Mark Neumann, Inc. are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. The maximum contribution to Friends of Mark Neumann, Inc. is $2500 per election from an individual, $5000 for both the primary and the general, and from a couple drawn on a joint account, the maximum is $10,000 total per couple for the 2012 Election Cycle. Friends of Mark Neumann, Inc. cannot accept corporate checks or contributions from foreign nationals without permanent resident status. Contributions from a joint account will be reattributed equally to the individuals whose names appear on the joint check, or amounts in excess of $2500 will be re-designated to the next election. Federal law requires that Friends of Mark Neumann, Inc. use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of all contributors who donate more than $200 in an election cycle.
