INTRODUCTION

Source: http://www.monografias.com/trabajos96/formas-y-tecnicas-expresion-artistica/image003.gif

Mixed graph-plastic techniques in educational institutions must be carried out through the free
manipulation of materials according to the age of the children, that is, scissors, punches,
spatulas, brushes, etc. are constituted as tools. It is worth mentioning that plastic techniques
should not be performed ahead of time until the child is mature enough for new experiences
and modes of expression. That is why plastic expression occupies an important place in
childhood, since it occurs in the child in a natural way, which contributes to the development of
creativity and imagination, while the child learns and has fun.

(Di Caudo, 2007) mentions that plastic expression is considered the best expressive means to
communicate ideas or feelings, and to know one's own cultural and artistic environment. For
this reason, art provides a good opportunity to reinforce other areas of the curriculum such as
the formation of strokes, symbolic representation, the conceptualization of space and time,
mathematics, oral language, among others.

GRAFO PLASTIC TECHNIQUES

Grapho-Plastic Techniques are strategies that are used in the first years of

Basic Education, to develop fine psychomotor skills, with the aim of preparing boys and girls
for the learning process and especially reading and writing, are based on practical activities,
typical of the area of Aesthetic Culture that include the participation of boy, girl, through
drawing and painting. It should be noted that graph-plastic techniques are all the procedures
or ways of using materials, which in turn are the tools with which we can draw, paint, sculpt
or carry out artistic activities. In this way providing an important value to the artistic talent of
the infants since they will be the ones who will experiment with each of the techniques, which
will later benefit their psychomotor development.

THE
TECHNIQUES

(Di Caudo, 2007) in his book Children's Plastic Expression ; mentions that
graphoplastic techniques are an instrument of development and communication of the
boy and girl that is manifested through different expressions and also as a form of
representation and communication, since it uses a language that allows them to
express themselves through mastery of the material and of different techniques that
favor the creative process. One of the most important aspects of activities with graph-
plastic techniques is the child's imaginative and creative progress. The child is
endowed with creative capacity, he develops his relationships with things, expressing
them through independent concepts, but he will never ask how to draw a mouth or
nose;

without any hesitation he will draw his own concepts. For the child to acquire this
creative capacity, it is important to take into account the artistic part in teaching art,
with motivation and the materials to be used being fundamental. It should be noted

The best material is that which helps the child to express

himself.

Source: http://masterclass.unir.net/curso-online-de-iniciacion-a-la-didactica-de-las-artes-plasticas/
that they are a fundamental instrument for stimulating creativity.

PREVIOUS ACTIVITIES
Before starting psychomotor exercise, it is important to teach the child what the appropriate positions
are, for example:

a) Sit well, resting your back on the back of the chair

b) Do not bring your head too close to the sheet c) Bring the chair closer to the table e) Explain the
proper use of the materials to be used.

f)Indicate the development process of each activity.

g)Remember that affection and respect are very important

Recognize primary colors in geometric shapes, mix to make colors.

PAINT DRAINING

For this technique, clear and light paint is prepared with tempera and water, then on a sheet of
paper until a shape is achieved; various colors can be used.

The plastic arts allow the child to express themselves through these techniques, the child
creates, invents or imagines and these are activities that we must permanently delegate. To
paint by blowing: prepare a clear paint (tempera and water), apply this paint on a sheet, then
blow with a straw until you spread all the paint to get shapes.

Procedure: you fold a sheet in half, place three ropes dipped in tempera in different colors on
one half. The ropes must be 30 cm. each.
With the other half of the sheet you print gently, open the sheet and remove the strings.

PAINT BY
BLOWING
Procedure: on a glass surface you drop a few drops of tempera of various colors, then you
place a sheet on the glass, you print by passing your hand gently, remove the sheet from the
glass and you will see what shape is printed on the paper.

PRINT WITH MULTIPLE OBJECTS

With this technique, a wide variety of objects are used, here we have a few suggestions that can
be used to print: spools of threads, container lids of different sizes, clothespins, corrugated
cardboard, comb, brush, ice cream popsicles, plant leaves. To print with the straw, the parts of
the straw are cut out in the shape of a brush, forming two very fixed ones, these are then

is printed on the paper.

FINGERPAINTING

Procedure: mix tempera with thick milk or condensed milk in equal parts, on a sheet you

make a drawing, marking only the edge of the drawing, with your index finger dipped in

tempera. With a fine brush, fill in the necessary parts of the drawing with the tempera mixture,

then cover the drawing with a piece of cellophane paper.

PAINTING ON SANDING WITH WHITE CHALK AND WAX:

Procedure: for this technique, the sandpaper is glued to a piece of cardboard, several pieces of

white chalk are used, which will be dipped in tempera and the desired drawing will be made.

PAINTING ON SANDING WITH COLORED CHALK AND PASTE:

Procedure: for this activity, the sandpaper is glued to a piece of cardboard, several pieces of

colored chalk are used, which are dipped in glue and a composition is made.
