4 Safety instructions

Safety
This machine is only intended för drying water-washed garments.

Clothes that have been cleaned with chemicals/inflammable liquids,

must NOT be dried in the machine.

Remove clothes from the tumble dryer as soon as they are dry. This
prevents them from becoming creased, and reduces the risk of sponta-
neous ignition.

The machine must not be used för drying foam rubber or foamlike
materials.

The machine must not be used for drying floor mops*.

The machine must not be used by children.

The machine must not be hosed down with water.

Adequate ventilation has to be provided to avoid the back flow of gases

into the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open fires.

Mechanical, electrical installation MUST only be carried out by qualified

personnel!

Report machine faults and refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

This is important for your own safety and for the safety of other users.

*Applies only to floor mops containing polyproylene.

Textiles as silk and wool must not be overdried

to avoid the risk of creasing.

Control Panel
Fig. The control panel is used to choose the drying program with options and
1 to start and stop the machine. The panel houses a control knob and a display.
Some machines also have two preset buttons.

Fig. The display presents the drying programs and
4 additional functions. The up and down arrows on
the right-hand side of the display indicate that
there are more options available in the current
menu. Turn the knob for next program. EXTRA DRY

Note!
If there is not enough room to show all the
text on the display, the first part will be dis-
played briefly before the text scrolls to the
side to display the second part. This sequen-
ce will be repeated as long the text in ques-
tion is activated.

Drying Program 1

The machine is programmed with a number of

programs adapted to the range of uses to which
the machine is intended.

Starting with preset button

• If the machine has a coin meter, insert the
correct amount of coins/tokens and press the
button in order to start.
• If the machine is in a booking system it will be
necessary to book the machine in a central
system before it is possible to start it.
Note!
Pushing one of these buttons will activate the
corresponding drying program directly and
the machine will start automatically.

On coin-operated machines the duration of the

program is controlled by the coin/token inserted
• Pay for the desired time.
• Select temperature and confirm by pressing
the knob.

Note!
The programmes EXTRA DRY, DRY and IRON
DRY 5% are not available on machines where
payment is done before the dryer is started.

Fig. A fault in the program or in the machine is

an error code and a descriptive text.

The drying program and the error code can
be reset before restarting by holding in the knob INCORRECT
for at least 10 seconds or turning off the power to PROGRAMMING
the machine.

E11 DRYING ERROR WITH RMC PROGRAM

Maximum allowable RMC time exceeded (non-coin

operated models only).
E12 DRYING ERROR WITH AUTOSTOP PROGRAM

Maximum allowable Autostop time exceeded (non-

coin operated models only).
E15 NO VACUUM DETECTED The vacuum switch/pressostat does not shut within 12
seconds after the dryer is started.

For other error messages or repeated error messages, contact service personnel.
12 Maintenance

Maintenance 1
The following should be carried out at regular
intervals, depending on the frequency of use.

Daily
• Check that the drum stops when the door is
opened.

Fig. removed for cleaning. Use a soft brush or your
2 hand. Remember to re-install the lint screen.
• Check that the gaskets around the coarse
finlter/air condenser and the door gasket have

been cleaned. Clean with a moist cloth.
• Check that the lint screen is unbroken.
• Check that the machine will not start until the 2
start button has been activated.

Quarterly/Semi-annually
• Check that the fresh-air intake at the rear of
the machine is not clogged by lint or blocked
in any other way.
• Check that the evacuation system is tight and
that the ducts are not clogged by lint or dust or
blocked in any other way.
• Wipe off/clean drum and lifters with citric acid
(Acidum citricum). If soap/softener residue
remains, it is recommended also to use a
coarse sponge.
The frequency of cleaning should depend on
the operating frequency - with a minimum of
once a quarter.
• Remove the coarse filter for lint removal.

Annually
Check that the fresh-air intake to the room and
the vent ducts/pipes in and from the room are not
clogged by lint/dust or in any other way. Clean
as required, depending on the frequency of use.
Minimum once a year.
At least once a year the inside wearing parts of
the machine should be checked by a service
person and cleaned of lint.
Skrotning av maskin

Scrapping of machine
When the machine is no longer to be used, it must be submitted to a recycling facility for destruction. The majority of the
components in the machine can be reused, but it also contains other material that must be taken care of in the correct
way. Therefore, never mix the machine or its parts with domestic waste as this may lead to health hazards or damage to
the environment.

Wenn das Gerät nicht länger im Gebrauch ist, muss dieses einer Recyclingstation zur Entsorgung zugeführt werden.
Viele Komponenten des Geräts sind recyclingfähig, enthalten aber auch Materialien, die vorschriftsmäßig entsorgt
werden müssen. Entsorgen Sie daher das Gerät oder Geräteteile niemals im Hausmüll, da dies Gefahren für die
Gesundheit oder Umweltschäden nach sich ziehen kann.

Når maskinen ikke længere er i brug, skal den afleveres til destruktion på en genbrugsstation. Mange dele i maskinen
kan genanvendes, men den indeholder også andre materialer, der skal håndteres korrekt. Smid derfor ikke maskinen
eller dele af den ud sammen med husholdningens almindelige affald, da det kan være forbundet med sundhedsrisiko
eller give miljøskader.
