Subject: Notice of Significant Change in Foreign Exchange Rates and Request for Price Adjustment on
Supply and Fix Work
Dear Sir,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to bring to your attention a significant change in the
foreign exchange rates that has recently occurred nationally, which has impacted our contractual
obligations and financial planning for further supply and fix works of .......project.
As you recall, we entered into a contract agreement for the supply and fix works of ..... project and
signed the contract on........ While the contract remains in effect, we experienced a delay in the renewal
of the advance bond due to the rearrangement of certain documents, including a certificate from
China(........) for the renewal. This delay has now been resolved, and we are in the final stages of
submitting the advance bond renewal.
However, the recent nationwide change in foreign exchange rates has significantly affected our cost
structure and ability to deliver and fix the remaining works as initially planned. Therefore, we kindly
request your office to take note of this change and consider the relevant agreement articles that address
such circumstances as per Article No...........which states.......
Therefore, we respectfully request your officr for price adjustment that accomodates current shift of
foreign exchange rates, ensuring that we can continue to import and implement all remaining works of
the project and hand over the project at the earliest possible time. We believe this adjustment is
necessary to maintain the project's financial viability and ensure its successful completion.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
