A2Z Champs Art & Creative Writing Competition 2024 (Season 2)
The competition offers two categories i.e. Art (Poster making) and
Creative Writing (Essay writing).
This competition will certainly help the participants to discover and
demonstrate their creative skills.
The theme for the event is:
UNIVERSE Exploring the Astronomical World
The universe we are a part of is an incredibly magical place, filled with
enchanting wonders! Imagine a never ending, sparkling space stretching
out in all directions. Each twinkling light is a star, and some stars have
planets revolving around them, just like our solar system. Sun is our star
and planets we know, including our beloved Earth revolve around the Sun.
Our planet Earth is just a tiny spot in this huge space. Scientists use
powerful telescopes to look deep into space, discovering secrets of
swirling black holes and galaxies far away. They study the Milky Way, our
home galaxy, and are amazed by exploding stars and other incredible
things. Exploring the universe helps us understand the story of our own
world and the many other planets that float in the vast cosmic ocean. The
more we learn the more magical and awe-inspiring the universe becomes!
The schedule of the competition is as follows:

25th November 2024 Rules for poster making:
The poster needs to encompass the theme i.e. 'UNIVERSE Exploring the
Astronomical World'. Participants may use any size and type of paper
between A4 (8.27" x 11.69") and A3 (11.69" x 16.54"). Use of thermopore
& corrugated sheets is prohibited. Larger sized poster may be disqualified.
Participants can use any type of materials; pens, pencils, paints, crayons,
beads etc. Encourage the kids to use their own imagination & creativity.
Scoring will be primarily based on the theme, creativity, neatness and
artistic work done by the participant.
Rules for creative writing:
To enter the competition, send an unpublished composition of the
participant. Writing should respect the set theme i.e. 'UNIVERSE Exploring
the Astronomical World'. It must be written in English and contain 50 to
100 words for Pearls & Diamonds, whereas 200 to 250 words for Silver &
Gold categories. Handwritten entries will be preferred. Use one side of
paper. In case of multiple pages, each page must be numbered and
stapled in order. Scoring will be based on spelling, grammar, neatness,
conciseness & presentation.
Posters making / creative writings must be done by the students in school
premises under supervision / monitoring of teacher Non-compliance may
result in loss of potential to win the prizes.
Judging and Prizes:
Artwork and creative writings will not be returned to the participant or
institute in any case.
