perform following three
functions:
Accept data and instructions
from the outside world.
Convert it to a form that the
computer can understand.
Supply that data to the computer
for further processing.

devices available in market
today.

Keyboard:
Keyboard it a baoc imput device.
Keyboard is a device which has several keys to input Programs and data are entered inta
a computer through a keyboard, which is attached to Cmputer.
A kryboard oilar to Typewriter,
comams Alphabets, Digis, Special Characters and some Control Reys
A keyboard has characters printed on the keys and when we press any key, respective
circuit aivated and data is inputted
The most popular keyboard used is "QWERTY" keyboard with more than 100 keys.
Alphanumeric keys:
Alphabetical, numeric and punctuation keys are used in the same fashion as a typewriter
keyboard.
These keys are a to z. A to 2.0 to 9
some special symbol keys
Therwhich are very useful like 5. %, @, &, etc.
All these keys have special meaning at various levels depending on the software different
keys Control keys:
Control keys
Some keys are used for special type of controls.
They are generally used along with some short cut keys. We are generally using Copy
(Ctrl+C), Paste (Ctrl+V). here are many control keys like Control key, Alter key, shift key,
Esc key etc.
Function keys:
unction keys have inbuilt functions which are already provided. Some function keys are
dedicated to operating system and some may work depending on the software which you
are using.
For Example, F1 functions key generally used for help in every software.
Navigation keys :
Some keys are used for navigation.
Navigation means moving from one part to another part of your document without
deleting anything.
There are many navigation keys like four arrow keys (left, right, up, down), PgUp, PgDown,
Home, End key etc...
Multimedia keys:
There are many keys for multimedia like play, stop, next, previous etc..
These keys are available upper side of function keys
Numeric keypad:
We found extra numeric keypad at right side of keyboard.
It is very useful when we want to enter lots of numeric data like bank, LIC office, post
office etc... There are many types of keyboard available now.

Mouse
A mouse is a device that controls the movement of the cursor or pointer which display on
a screen
A mouse is a small object (hardware) you can roll (move) along a flat surface.
Its name derived from its shape.
As you move the mouse, the pointer on screen ahe moves in the same direction.
A mouse is aho called pointing device.
The mouse is used to draw diagram, sketches, selection, etc
Mouse contains two or three button upper side which has different function depending
on what program is running.
Some mouse contain scroll wheel for scrolling the windows. Mouse is very useful for GUI
(graphical user interface) environment.
The shape of mouse is change when they appear on different part of our desktop screen.
It can perform following operation.
Pointing
This is main use of mouse.
You can move mouse along your screen to point out any object.
Clicking
Clicking is a small action done by mouse.
You first move your mouse pointer on particular object and then Pess the mouse button
and release it. It is known as clicking
Double-Clicking.
Click mouse click two times immediately one after another, it is known as double-clicking.
Generally, we used double-click to open any folder or start any software.
Dragging
Click mouse on anywhere, then move mouse at desired position, then release the mouse
click, is known as dragging.
When we want to move any file or folder from one place to another place or we want to
dra something, dragging is used. .....
