Memorandum of Understanding
This Memorandaum of Understanding entered in to C P Abdul Khader Managing, Director Sevana
Hospital , having its office at Pattambi, Palakkad (Herein after called the party of 1st Part)
Managing Director, Moulana Hospital Perinthalmanna, located at Perinthalmanna
Malappuram represented by Moulana Hospital (Herein after called the party of 2nd Part).
WHEREAS the party of 1st party intends to improve its service to the patient by providing Mobile ICU
Ambulance facility for which the party of 1st part inclines tie up with the part of 2nd part for such services.
WHEREAS the part of 2nd part also inclines to enter into an agreement with the party of 1st part to provide
Mobile ICU Ambulance.
1. The party of 2nd part hereby agrees to provide Mobile ICU ambulance services for requirement of the
party of 1st part and its patient needs as and when required from the call of the vehicle and to reach the
place party of 1st part.
2. T he party of 2nd part hereby agrees to provide the Mobile ICU ambulance services to shift the patient to
other hospitals, for investigations, to bring patients from other hospital, to take back the patient to their
home and also to attend the Medical Camps seminars etc, organized by the hospital for which the
ambulance will be parked at the hospital premises.
3. The party of 2nd part hereby agrees to provide the Mobile ICU with AIR SUSPENSION facility which
provides more comfortable drive with reduced noise, vibration, harshness etc.
4. The party of 2nd part assures that the driver having due license, personal insurance, adequate experiences
and BLS training certificate from authorized organization will be provided for driving the ambulance.
5. The party of 2nd part hereby agrees that the person delighted to drive the vehicle trained in BLS to help
and support as and when required by the party of 1st part.
6. The part of 2nd part hereby agrees that they shall have patient monitors portable ventilator, suction
apparatus, oxygen supply, power back up for above such equipments, crash cart with all emergency
medicines and accessories, to satisfy the work given by the party of 1st part.
7. The party of 2nd part hereby undertake to follow periodic services, maintenance, insurance including for
the person travelling in to not less than six in members.
8. The party hereby agrees that the person Emergency Medical Technician having ACLS/BLS Certificate.
9. The party of 2nd part hereby agrees to obtain proper fitness certificate and period updating in due time for
their vehicles.
10. The party of 2nd part hereby agrees to pay tax promptly in time without any default and if any default will
occur, the party of 2nd part is not entitled to claim the same from the party of 1st part.
11. Both parties will have the right to terminate this agreement by giving 30 days notice in writing not the
other party.
12. The party of the 1st part shall have the right to attend the enquiries of all the calls for the ambulance
service owned by the hospital and next the only call will be referred to the ambulance operated by the 2nd
party subject to the availability.
13. This MOU shall be operational from the 1st day of May, 2019 and shall be in force for a period of three
years.
In WITNESS WHEREOF the parties have put their respective hands on the day, moth and year
first above written.
