DAY WISE ITINERARY
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL - HALF DAY CITY TOUR (L/D)
Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met by our tour guide who will
be with you through your stay. Then transfer to down town for check-in to hotel (check in
time 14:00) Afternoon, start for Ho Chi Minh City tour, visit Independence Palace, also known
at the Reunification palace that was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. Next,
Visit War Remnants Museum to learn about the Vietnam War - a war of great political
significance in modern world history and how Vietnam could win a resounding victory over
the US and the aftermath. Continue the journey, you will be introduced with the Notre Dame
Cathedral. This work is a replica of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris with building materials
are imported entirely from France. In the next attraction, you can see the beautiful structures
from the French Colonial times – the historic Central Post Office that is one of the typical
buildings of Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 2: VISIT CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L/D)
After breakfast, pick up at the hotel. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel that will take approximately one
and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some
short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed
and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time
to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the constructed living areas
with kitchens, side by side bedrooms with other martial facilities like storage, weapons
factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet
their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within
the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava
(guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Before returning to Saigon, what is more
exciting is that during break time, besides taking time to relax, you can try the real shooting
gun (pay by own). It is surely a great experience to end this journey. Free at leisure till transfer
to airport for the flight to Danang.

DAY 3: FULL DAY BA NA HILLS & HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, pick up at the hotel in Danang. Transfer to Ba Na (30km). Upon arrival,
transfer by Cable Car which gains 5 world scores. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet
hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui
Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Old wine
tunnel, Orchid Garden. Lunch at Ba Na Morin restaurant. Afternoon: Free for joining games
in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting
games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, the death race, Dinosaur Park. (2 hours).
Return to Da Nang city and transfer to Hoi An. Continue to travel by car to Hoi An – The
Ancient Town. Thanks to the strict regional policy, all vehicle are prohibited at the centre of
the town, which makes it excellent for our walking tour. To soak up all the graceful delights
of Hoi An, you will start to explore Communal House or ancient commercial house, the
amazing masterpiece of construction is the ultimate condense of Chinese and Japanese
architectural quintessence. Speaking of the Japanese style of ornament, it will be a mistake
not to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, built as a gateway to connect to the Chinese quarter
by the Japanese community in the early era. The bridge is well-preserved to its original
appearance and architectural curve design. Back to Danang.

DAY 4: FLIGHT TO HANOI – HALF DAY CITY TOUR (B/L/D)
After Breakfast morning flight to Hanoi. On arrival, our guide and driver will pick up and
transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon, pick up at your hotel: visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex with
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (visit outside), the commemorate marble monument that reminds
the Vietnamese people why they can live in peace and independence today. Then, visit Tran
Quoc Pagoda with West Lake. Back to the center, taking the adventure in the Old Quarter.
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is a bubbling gold mine for just about anything. Explore this are on
30 - 45 minute Cyclo. The cyclo driver will drive you through some typical streets with typical
products in The Old Quarter (Hang Ma, Hang Thiec, Hang Gai Street, move to the French
Quater for Joseph's Cathedral church, Opera House.
End the tour by enjoying water puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 5: HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we gather in the lobby at 8.00 am for a departure to Halong. We drive across
the Red River delta and reach the coast little before noon. We embark on a beautifully crafted
wooden junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Halong. Once on board, we
are served a delicious seafood-based buffet lunch, while the limestone rocks are setting up
the décor. In the afternoon, we reach a less travelled area and will devote ourselves to
relaxation, sunbathing, and visiting a cave. The program is not fixed and depends on the time
of the year and weather. We end the day on the sundeck while the sun sets. It is time for an
aperitif or to attend a cooking demonstration before dinner.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, enjoy your fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Halong in
the morning with Tai Chi exercise or another exercise on the sundeck. The wholesome brunch
is served while the vessels cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back
toward port. Enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the
way back to Ha Long city, etc. check out from the cruise and proceed to the airport to board
your flight back home with warm memories of your tour.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
• As soon as you decide to confirm your holiday booking with Vacations Exotica, we
would request you to please send us an initial non-refundable booking deposit of
Rs 40,000 per person along with the passport copies, PAN card copies and duly filled
booking form
• All cheques / demand drafts to be drawn in favor of Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd.
• On payment of this deposit amount, we shall start processing your booking
• Final and balance payment to be done 30 days prior to departure along with TCS
declaration form
• We shall deliver your final tour documents viz. air tickets, tour itinerary, briefing
sheet, etc. 3-5 days prior to departure date
IMPORTANT NOTE
• The tour will operate subject to a minimum 25 full paying passengers booking on
the tour. Services of a professional and experienced Tour Manager or a local
representative is subject to minimum 25 full paying passengers.
• A child 11 years and above will be considered an adult
• As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may
be the same as the double room
• All Local taxes, entrances and services are calculated as on 1st Aug 2024, any
increase in local taxes, entry tickets and other services has to be borne and paid by
the traveler/agent.
• All transfers and extensive sightseeing with entrance fees (as specified in the
itinerary) will be done in an air-conditioned coach
• It is suggested to carry one check in bag and one hand bag per person only, due to
limited boot space in the coach
• Services of our Tour Manager or local representatives, while on tour (subject to
group size being met)
• Land surcharges applicable on certain departure dates which will be notified
• If certain sightseeing/excursions are closed, then alternate sightseeing will be
arranged
• Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some
tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary.
However, you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the
itinerary unless it’s closed due to a holiday. Your Tour Manager will notify you the
same.
• Days of operation of certain sightseeing are subject to change due to technical
reasons, however we will ensure all sightseeing are covered as committed
• The rights of vary, amend, withdraw or reverse any particular itinerary, departure
or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand in particular airline
in/out points may change. Service, will however remain unchanged
• Bookings once confirmed are subject to cancellation charges which shall be advised
at that time
• No refunds either in part or full will be applicable for any unused service on the tour
• The cost of deviation per sector of Rs 7,000 plus difference in airfare will be
applicable in case you want to deviate from the group departure dates

• Compulsory supplement charges will be applicable for festivals / special events /

damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity, which may
occur during the tour, due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and or
any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the
passenger
