That's the same conversation I had with myself yesterday as I was about to fall into temptation (again..).
Meron kase akong gustong bilin na gamit, kaso wala sya sa budget ko. And it has always been a struggle
for me to keep everything on budget.
The Lord has been teaching me about this these past few months. kaya ngayon, every time I wanted to
buy something.. madami na akong need iconsider.
It's good learning, but it's hard.
Tinatanong ko ang sarili ko, "gusto ko bang bumalik sa dating ako?(na financially unwise?)"
At immediate din naman ang sagot sakin.. "Gusto mo bang bumalik sa dating ikaw? (with all the
struggles you have now because of your bad decisions before) .. Gusto mo ba yun talaga?"
And I said, "No."

Sin is like that.
Temptation is like that.
The enemy would lie to you that you 'need' to do it.
"Go lang, wala naman nakakakita.."
"Sige na, gawin mo na, need mo yan.. deserve mo yan."
"Ok lang yan. Go mo na.. One time lang naman e."
"Hingi ka nalang ng sorry later.."
"Bawi ka nalang kay Lord.."
And if you think about it.. and realized that what God has done in your life.. parang wala naman ng sense
yung lies na yan sa buhay mo.
and Yes, we live in an imperfect world, marami pa ding pagkakataon that we would fail and fall.
But next time that you think about falling ~ remember how you love God more than the sin.
HOW?
Remember the first time you were forgiven.
Remember the first time you felt love and peace from within.
Remember the first time God called you by your name and called you mine.
Hindi ba't mas nakakainlove yon kesa sa temporary love the world has to offer?
Hindi ba't mas masarap sa piling, lilim at protection ni Lord kesa sa panahon na takbo ka ng takbo palayo
sa Kanya?
When you feel being tempted, remember how you're loved by God and remember why you love Him
back.
Do you want to keep living in sin or a life with a purpose and abundant love?
