Abstract

ABSTARCT The Thesis with title "Javanese Custom marriage In Islamic Law Perspective, Analisis Sees and Moslem Javanese Society confidence to Custom (Case Analysis at Sidomulyo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Town)" constituting field research result (field research) to answer question about how marriage procedure description Javanese custom in Islamic law perspective, concept and moslem Javanese society confidence to custom, in this case marriage. Do they look on custom as cultural as or look on custom one par with religion. Observational data collected by interview, and perusal and text or library study, hereafter at analysis with tech descriptive analysis. This observational result concludes: first, Javanese custom nuptials at Sidomulyo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang town is its procedure as almost equal to city Jogjakarta, which is Jogjakarta city constitutes to center or barometer of java culture. If even available distinctive few only, since element local culture acculturation. Both of, Javanese custom marriage procedure that is at Sidomulyo village, Pronojiwo, Lumajang, in corridor culturaling to terminological Islamic law view is may or mubah. There is take even this law bases Al Qur' an, Sunnah and Ushul Fiqih method, which is all something basically being let up to no order which manage it. Third, there is ritual even that gets high time election bearing (pitungan), sesajen makings, and selamatan because have cleared away on confidence, what do society carry on ritual this aptly believe truth of forecast on elect days that, eventually Allah doesn't create to mark sense unlucky day and high time. So also sesajen and selamatan ritual it is done as devoting to late ancestor and the evil one ghost, so ritual ritual it can wreck believe. And ritual it constitutes bid?ah. Since society looks on custom as religion not as culture. That things in conflict with Islam teaching. Since ritual it is acculturation of religions that at follows by java tribe before Islam.
