Data-Driven Business Performance Improvement for COTS's Coffee Shops

1. Introduction & Project Plan:

As the junior data analyst at Café on the Sea (COTS), our job is to analyze the performance of
the three best coffee shops in the company, which are located in Black pool, Southampton, and
Portsmouth. These locations are important indicators of the company's current market position
due to the strong competition from other coffee chains like Costa, Café Nero, and Starbucks in
these cities. Your analysis will be a crucial part of the 3-Year Strategic Plan for the company.

The motivation behind this report is to introduce an information driven way to deal with further
develop business execution for COTS's coffee shops. By utilizing information examination, we
mean to recognize key bits of knowledge and patterns that will empower us to go with informed
choices to improve deals, upgrade functional productivity, and at last drive better by and large
business execution.

To start your examination, I collected the important information from different sources,
including data records, client input, functional information, and outside market information about
all 3 coffees shops. After that I purify and preprocess the information to deal with missing
qualities, anomalies, and irregularities. This step is urgent to guarantee precise and dependable
investigation.

In our empirical models we aim to include measures that explain and control for different
characteristics that affect the sales performance and customer satisfaction of individual stores
Agarwal, D.P. (2021). Then get valuable results I choose the EDA model (Exploratory Data
Analysis) to acquire starting bits of knowledge into the information and investigate deals
designs, recognize irregularity, and find possible connections between factors. Applying
advanced analytics techniques such as regression analysis, time series forecasting, and clustering
to uncover hidden patterns which make predictions about future trends.

2. Data quality issues and remedies

Incomplete Data: Fragmented information happens when certain perceptions or qualities are
absent. To recognize this issue, examiners can check for missing qualities in the dataset. Cures
incorporate ascription strategies (mean, middle, and mode) or utilizing progressed methods like
relapse or AI models to foresee missing qualities.

Inconsistent Data: Conflicting information emerges when a similar kind of data is recorded
distinctively across the dataset. Examiners ought to check for varieties in naming shows,
information arrangements, and units of estimation. The cure includes normalizing information
configurations and units to guarantee consistency.

Duplicate Data: Copy information alludes to rehashed passages in the dataset, prompting off
base examination. Recognizing copies should be possible through matching strategies or
calculations. The cure is to eliminate or unite copy records.

In conclusion, utilizing information examination through an organized structure like Fresh DM

can give important bits of knowledge into COTS's coffee shops' performance. Investigation
distinguish the patterns and pursue informed choices, COTS can optimize its operations, enhance
customer experience, and drive improved business performance across all coffee shops.

year time frame, as well as the sums for every year and the whole time frame. The information

times of expanded/diminished deals.
