Prophet Muhammad sollallahu ‘alaihi
wa sallam was appointed as the final
Prophet by Allah, there was a wise
boy who lived happily out in the
deserts of Arabia with his parents.
This animal is known as the ‘ship of the deserts’.

Muhammad was known by the people of
Mecca to be a man who had the best of
akhlaq. Although Zaid was his slave, he
loved and treated him the same way he
treated his own children.

In the meantime, Zaid’s
parents searched high and low
for him. The were heart-
broken and had no clue
whether he was alive or dead.

As Muslims, when we’re heart-broken, we say:

HASBUNALLAHU WA NI’MAL WAKEEL
(Allah is enough for us, and He is the best
disposer of affairs.)
Allah will comfort out hearts and help us
through it all!

Rasulullah sollallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam has told us:

‫اْلَك ِّي ُس َم ْن َد اَن َنْف َس ُه‬

‫َو َع ِم َل ِلَم ا َبْع َد اْلَم ْو ِت‬
‫َو اْلَع اِج ُز َم ْن َأْت َب َع َنْف َس ُه‬
‫َه َو اَه ا َو َت َم َّن ى َع َلى الَّلِه‬
A wise person is the one who keeps himself in
check and does good deeds to benefit himself
after death;

and the foolish person is the one who allows

himself to follow his desires and hopes from
Allah to grant him success (in the hereafter)".

He loyally supported his

beloved Al-Musthofa ‫ﷺ‬
through the toughest of times.

An example: The Prophet decided to

call the people of Taif to Islam.
Instead of accepting the call or
rejecting nicely, they told their
children and slaves to insult the
Prophet and throw stones at him!
Zaid tried his best to block the
stones from reaching his beloved and
wiped the blood off him.

Prophet Muhammad sollallahu ‘alaihi

wa sallam married Zaid off to Ummu
Aiman, and they got a son named
Usamah. Usamah was also loved
greatly by the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬.

Usamah was born in Mecca, where the Kaabah is located.

The Prophet sollallahu ‘alaihi wa

would give him the task of leading
various military expeditions, and
Zaid would do it the best way he
could! Zaid would also be put in-
charge of Medina if

In the 8th year of Hijra, one of the
leaders under the Roman Empire killed
the Prophet’s ‫ ﷺ‬representative to
them. So, he decided to send the
Muslim army to face them.

‘alaihi wa sallam assigned three
leaders for the battle. They
were to lead in succession. Each
person would take over if the
other was martyred.
The three leaders are:
1st leader:
a) Sayyidina Abu Bakr As-Siddiq
b) Sayyidina Anas Bin Malik Circle the
c) Sayyidina Zaid Bin Harithah correct

saw the excellent akhlaq he had to
