Fountain additive for IPA-free printing in sheetfed and continuous form printing
Very easy at the application, easy change to IPA free printing
Similar wide application window as printing with alcohol
For all sheetfed presses, also for Japanese presses with copper rollers
Machine and roller settings have not to be changed
Compared to printing with alcohol the water setting is only slightly increased
No increased ink feedback to dampening rollers
The fountain stays clean for long time and the increase of conductivity is very low

A minimum of start-up waste, stable ink-water balance
Very good plate protection, fast start up after long press stop
No calcium deposits on ink rollers
Fast drying of the ink
No problems with corrosion, swelling of rubber or plate attack
Suitable for pure RO-water and also for hard tap water
density 1,03 kg/l
increased conductivity per % input: 160 µS/cm
standard dosage: 3-4 %
pH-value 4,8 - 5,3 at 4% (depending on the water hardness)

Before applying BöttcherFount S-3051, the fountain system must be completely emptied and

cleaned thoroughly, preferably with BöttcherPro Ecosol. For cleaning the system we recommend
10% BöttcherPro Ecosol, 30min recirculation, then cleaning 2X with water.

BöttcherFount S-3051 is not a dangerous good in the sense of national and international
transport regulations.
