Our Chosen Superheros

When you are feeling stressed or worn out you always look for
something to help you. It can come in many different forms, some
dangerous, some safe. However it seems dogs are the best animals
that have successfully helped people. Let's see why.
In the 1700’s dogs were in fact used for people with disabilities. Yes,
over 200 hundred years ago. They started off with training dogs to
help the blind. For example, say you were blind obviously you can’t
see not saying that you can't do anything but it does in fact limit you a
bit without your eyes. Now they trained these dogs to go and help
push the limits for these people. These dogs became the eyes for their
people. Bonnie Bergin was actually the one who started this little
training session. Because of her so many people are able to do
normal day things without having to deal with the limits. They can
cross streets and go to bookstores. Who knows but they can do it
because they have an animal helping them.
Service animals have progressed so much in fact that so many
places have opened up to be legal for service animals to be in. You
see before they were limited to places like planes and supermarkets
but because of the rate going down in hospitals and suicides ( I can’t
say the exact percent but it is said that veterans have more than once
said that the only reason they still were here, was because of their
pets whom gave them a reason to live.) so many places have opened
up their doors to these remarkable pets.
Not only are they service dogs but these animals are K9’s working in
the field with the police, working in the fire department, did you know
that a dog actually went to space?! I mean come on. The fact that
scientists held so much trust in animals means that yes indeed these
animals are very caring and very useful. They relieve stress, giving
people a reason to live. These dogs are special. When you look online
and search how dogs gave helped you’ll come face to face with
hundreds and thats not lying, but hundreds of different stories of how
dogs have helped us.
So yes not only have dogs successfully helped people, people have
begun to trust dogs sending them on missions to help people, to be in
space. If you don’t agree that dogs are the best then please let's see
your reasoning but I have researched in papers, on websites and I
have found that dogs not only save people but they do give people a
reason to live. They are our superheroes.
