Greetings from the UK

Dear Pam,
Hi! How are you? I’m still in the UK at the moment. I’m having a lot of fun!
On our first day here, we went sightseeing. I saw the famous London Bridge and
Big Ben. I wanted to buy (1) ______________ as a souvenir, but I couldn’t find
(2) ______________ that I liked. My British penfriend said people can get
(3) ______________ they want from the souvenir stands, but (4) ______________
of them sold anything interesting. I was quite happy that we found a little fish and
chips shop for dinner though. Is there (5) ______________ more classically British
than fish and chips?
We did (6) ______________ quite different on the second day. We left London
and went out into the country. First, we visited an old castle. I’ve never seen
(7) ___________ like it. The stone walls looked huge and felt very cold somehow.
After visiting the castle, we went to see (8) ______________ really unique.
We went to a place called Stonehenge. This is the place where you can see giant
stones in a circle on the ground. There is certainly (9) ______________ like it in
Hong Kong. It was really creepy in a strange way. As I stood near the stones,
I almost felt like (10) ______________ was crawling up my neck.
The next day, we actually visited Chinatown in London. Although I like British
food, there is (11) ______________ better than getting a taste of home when
you’re abroad. The dim sum was excellent, but (12) ______________ was
different about it. It wasn’t quite the same as in Hong Kong.
Well, there’s (13) _________________ I’d like more than to chat with you a bit, but
I have to get going. Today we’re travelling to Scotland to continue our holiday
there. I want to buy you (14) ______________ while I’m there. Is there
(15) ______________ in particular you would like?
Cheers,
