I agree with you, I enjoyed meeting at the film club last week, too. I

consider that the movie called “Beautiful life” could be the best idea to

show them at the meeting; however, there is a film called “Sherk”, that we

could watch and enjoy (this movie used to be the best for me when I was a child),

but I don´t know if everyone like this type of films.

In my opinion, “Beautiful life” is more appropriate than “Sherk”, because

in this occasion, all the people are adults and maybe they do not all like(not all of them would like)
comedian comedy movies/films films; also, “Beautiful life” has a lot of action and it was the highest
rated movie in March.

I also think it would be a good idea to suggest they organize an event; I recommend to go to
Cartagena because here there we can find different places where the people meet with other
filmgoers in order to discuss about films. Moreover, I could send an email for the other members
to invite them, so we should meet tomorrow to see the details.

As far as I am concerned, I want to complain about a proposal to build a theme park in our town to
attract tourists, because if you built build a theme park in this historic town, you will take away the
peace and quiet quietness that we have.

Moreover, I consider that increasing tourist in our town, the town would become a business place
becomes the town in a business place, it would be noisier and it probably would not be a good it
would not be probably a good place to live. Furthermore, the security would be affected because
of the amount of people; as you know, with more people, we could find many thieves and I

The local council have a proposal to build a theme park in our city, this is the worst an
inappropriate idea because magento town is a historical place because in this location fight our
grandfathers opposite the government for our freedom, I love this town and I lived 33 in the same
house, know all of people in this town and appreciate these regards.

In this moment, if you build this park, we wouldn´t prepare to attend a lot of turist and host in 2 or
3 hotels that have the town, this is a bad idea because the town don’t have the capacity in this
moment, but if we prepare a structured plan to build hotels, restaurants, streets and other
entertainment places we can produce the best impression in the tourist, after we can think in build
the theme park o other place, we can recreate the war with the government and sell furniture of
the battle, the restaurants can sell typical food of this years, and the cinema to proyect different
films that tell about the local history.

It is my opinion that we don´t build a theme park in this moment.

I read at town website that your propose to built a theme park in my city. In this regard, I would
like to say that Bogota is a cultural and historical city that has many important and touristic sites
yet to be discovered and the location that they currently have for the theme park could destroy the
tourist attraction that the city currently has.

Additionally, proposing other theme parks in the city could increase tourism and the city roads are

currently under construction so the traffic jams to get there would be long. So, an alternative
would be to provide more information or strengthen tourism to parks that are little known, such as
Interactive Maloka’s Park, Panaca`s Park, Jaime Duque Park, and other places into or out of town
and which are for all families.

Finally, I hope that you better study the proposal to build new parks and you should support the
parks that are built and that have good tourist attractions

Hello,

I am writing in response to the invitation by the council to build a theme park in our town to attract
tourists. In my opinion the are a big mistake for the peopple who live in the town, because it
would affect the security and tranquillity in our families.

The increased tourism will ruin our town in differents ways. In this moment our town is
considerede on of the most historic towns in the country; 5 years ago someone proposed to build a
theme park too, If the had built it, today we could not have enjoyed the beneficts that we have
right now, for exmaple, our children can go to the school without our supervision, the mobility in
the cars lane is too low and soft, our elderly can make a free walk without the concern of anyone,
etc.
I think that an alternative way to improve our town could be incentive the contruction of an
airport. It is the best way to improve our town to increase the merchandising for our products like
apples, potatoes, strawberries and all food that our lands can give us.

Dear city council.

Although I understand the need to increase the tourism industry in the city, I truly believe that

theme park it is not the correct way to do it. My preoccupation with using a theme park to boost

it, comes from the fact that it will destroy the character of our town that we all have come to love.

This is a small and peaceful town, we have low crime rates, and everybody is nice with each other,
an increased influx in tourists can sunder these aspects of our town. I am aware that the increase

in founding is important for the city, but I believe that in this case the negative aspects far

outweigh the positive ones.

I propose as an alternative method of raising the necessary founding is holding a fair or carnival of

some sorts in pre-established dates. That way although there will be more tourism and income

because of it, it is manageable since we will already know when this increase in tourism will

happen and can prepare our town accordingly taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety

and security of our town and is inhabitants.

In a globalization word, the modernization ideas knock in at the door in our country this week.
Some
ideas to attract tourist proposal to build a theme park, but it’s is a really solution for the real

problems in the country? In my opinion, if we need improve the economical situation of the citizen

maybe the government thought in protect the central history, modernize whit a theme park
changes de sight and the history, preserves the antique structures buildings are the most
important in these days. In other words, improve the tourism in the country probably affect the

One week ago, i read about a proposal to build a theme park in Melgar, this for increased tourism

in this región of Tolima. My Name is Hernan Lopez i am a Officer which live in Melgar since 2010.
Nowadays i consider that build a park is inappropiate because Melgar have problems with the

sistema of water, if your administration build this park, the habitants of Melgar wont have wáter

in his houses. Other razon for dont buid this park, is the problems of secutiry that carry this park,

actualy my town have a great insecurity cause for the migration, every day the people report

stolen and the police dont have enougth personal for atend all situation in the town. I think that

one alternative that the administration can make with this money, is fix the main roads, improve

the sistems of security in Melgar and built a mall with good restaurants. Melgar is a beautiful town

First of all let me introduce myself, I am Gabriel David Malagón Yssa, local resident in Melgar since

almost 12 or 13 years. Currently I am the manager of one of the most importan shop in the city,

the “Gabo´s floats Factory” located in the city center.

I am writting this post, because as a permanet resident. I think a theme park is very inappropiate

for our town. The history of our town never has been based in tourism, we don´t have the

apropiate buildings, roadways, and hotels that could recieve them.

Also the idea of a park that atracts thousands of tourist, destroying all that historic places in the

town, getting their trucks and campers in our soft driveways is concerned not just me, also the

entire town.

An alternative way to improve our town could be bulid a cargo terminal, in which our comunity

could get in and send their products to other towns, because as everybody knows, our town has a

lot of variety of vegetables and grains that could be even exported.

I´m writing for you about the proposal of build a theme park.

Firstly you don’t born here, and you don’t know the history of this town, specifically at this park.

Let me explain, in 1885 the General Simon Bolivar arrived at this little place who only lived 57

people, this day Simon Bolivar was running far away to Spanish people, he hid in an old house,

when the Spanish people arrived they said “All of you show me your houses” but the adult and old

people say no, then the Spanish kill a man “Don Roberto”, all the people comes to be furious and

they caught the conquests and kill them. When Simon Bolivar saw this brave action, he was so

proud and planted the big tree of the park, and helped to construct the church and the mayor hall.

This is the reason to the people don’t want to change our park or our town.

Secondly if you want to improve the tourism, is better if you construct near to a river a big

attraction like slides with flats, and improve the condition of the old statues.

I´m writting for a special thing, I saw the website from locals about a proposal to build a
theme park in our town to attack tourist, but i’m concerned because the idea is make a
contruction in the same place that a hictoric town is, I consider that is a worse idea
