Statement Of Purpose
Introduction
My name is Karakavalasa Venkata Gnaneswar. I am a third year undergraduate of the
Department of Civil Engineering enrolled in its [Link] Program. I am a Boarder of Lala
Lajpat Rai Hall of Residence. I am from Visakhapatnam, AndhraPradesh.
I am contesting for the post of Governor of Technology Environment Society.
Why me for Governor?
I have been an active member of the Technology Environment Society at IIT Kharagpur
since my first year, driven by my passion for nature and our society’s mission. Initially, I
contributed to herbal garden maintenance and design teams, and in my second year, I
expanded my role to Design, Sponsorship and Marketing, herbal garden maintainance. My
roles as General Secretary of the Civil Engineering Society, Core Team Head of Megalith,
and student member of the Students' Branding and Relations Cell have honed my
leadership skills. As Governor, I aim to enhance our society’s visibility, foster stronger
partnerships, and create more opportunities for member engagement, ensuring our
continued impact on campus and beyond.

Case study competitions:
All engineering and other background students throughout the nation are in fond of
Case study competitions which adds value to their resume and skills. We as TES,
cann associate with companies to organise this event and sponsor for the prize
money (if any to be given as reward for the winnners)
The event will be made online and live in unstop and other such platforms. PR Team
ensures that this is widely shared among all institutes to create awareness about
green energy, environment which will be covered in the problem statement.
Benefits:
1. Creates awareness among the students regarding environment protection,
and new innovative ideas will be shared by top minds across the nation
2. Gives a huge opportunity to reach wide range of audience not limiting to
KGPians.
Estimated Budget :depends on availability of sponsors (10k for prize money ,5k for
posters as event is made online no other logistics are required )
