TIPS TO BE FOLLOWED DURING MATH EXAM:

1. In case you get stuck while solving any question, don’t panic. Leave appropriate space
and don’t even cross out some of the steps that you may have written. This will ensure
that even if you don’t find time to solve the question, the examiners will give some
marks as step-wise marking system is followed in Math exam.

2. Ensure that figures/tables should be on the same page as it saves your time in looking
at the figure and finding the solution.
3. Always draw line for rough work on the right hand side of every page. This would
minimize the chances of error in noting down the numeric values from rough
calculations done on some other page of the answer sheet.

4. Using pencil make neat and clean figures. This would also enable you to change the
figure in case need arises. Do not waste time in decorating the figure. A simple figure
with perfect labeling will help you get full marks.

5. Do not forget to write the statements of the theorems or results used in the solutions.
Also, write each and every formula used in solution.

6. Do not forget to write the units in the questions involving dimensions.
