Background
I am highly adaptive and dynamic. I have worked both with large groups
and in one-to-one classes, and have experience teaching people of varying
ages, from toddlers to adults. My field of expertise has been developed in
English and Spanish with a humanistic approach, taking into account
learners' multiple needs and intelligences in order to guarantee a successful
learning process. I have a wide experience in ELT research, academic
counseling, and curriculum design.
I am also a fantastic editor and translator, having worked on these fields
since 2006. I have had the opportunity to explore other languages, such as
Persian, Arabic, Portuguese and French, from which I have translated
different materials into Spanish.
Throughout my professional career, I have also given different speeches
(both in English and Spanish) on different topics at various conferences
around the world, online and on-site. I have also directed and counseled a
wide variety of research projects at BA and MA levels.

Volunteer work
At various schools around Colombia, I've oriented English classes and
prepared students for standardized exams. For the Islamic community in
Latin America, I've hosted multiple online and on-site classes and video
conferences about multiple topics related to the religion, such as women's
rights. I have helped with translation, advisory and counseling in different
processes of Islamic teaching. For example, I helped create a syllabus and
content materials for the teaching of Islamic courses at university and
institutional levels.
