NEXT ADDITION TO THE HITLER ESCAPE

SERIES
Our first book in this series, “Hitler in Argentina” is the first real report of
this historical fact – that Adolf Hitler did not commit suicide but in fact did
escape to South America. Others have copied it, but this remains the
benchmark of this history.

This was and still is the most complete work on the escape of Adolf Hitler –
but it merely opens the door of this fascinating story. We have

found and published more information in our follow-on books.

and fit right in with the local populace. Further, it shows how they were
able to remain “under the radar” all those years, even in the face of FBI,
CIA, Mossad, KGB etc. searches. The second book in the Hitler Escape
series “Hitler and the Secret Alliance” was actually researched and written
by our friend Michael Ivinheim and it tells
in great depth, how it
was so easy
thousands of
people of the
for
the

3rd
Reich to assimilate
The third book in the Hitler Escape series
“Hitler’s Spy Web in South America” tells of
the spy web that was set up long before the start of World War two.

This book now reveals much more information, recently uncovered. “I

wanted to go and live in the depths of Argentina.”
Words of Guillermo Rousell, Swiss collaborator sentenced to death in
France. He managed to accomplish his wish and lived his final days in
Patagonia.

After the extradition of (Hauptsturmführer) SS Captain Erich Priebke from

Argentina to Italy which occurred in 1995, a phenomenon

curiously appeared in the city of San Carlos di Bariloche. This is where an

ex-Nazi official happened to live for half a century.
ERICH
PRIEBKE #7598 (L) during the war, (R) in Rome
PRIEBKE’s House & Shop

From that moment I decided to investigate the house of Priebke. Also there
were other places associated with Germans that left Europe when the Third
Reich fell.

This took a labor of patience which brought important and revealing

information. This resulted in finding that Priebke was not the only one to
pick Bariloche and many sites in southern Argentina had a connection with
Nazis before, during and after World War Two.

Today many of these places are occupied by foreign proprietors and they
have no idea of the important history. There are also buildings mentioned;
for example - Club Andino Bariloche and the German Club and others.

EDITOR NOTE– When I was there some years ago, I was in the Club
Andino and other places of the 3rd Reich in Patagonia.
One must realize this has historic character, therefore there will be no
mention of owners or administrators that live in the buildings or on the
sites. The investigation was realized and it demonstrates through analysis
the property and connection with the relation to Nazism in Bariloche.

It is said that history begins after fifty years had passed of the incidents and
events that happened and now the facts will be known. Before that period is
a constant open wound, and interests which make a difficult judgment
without prejudice. The passage of time will increase the possibilities to
evaluate with objective conclusion. It has been more than half a century
since immigration of the Nazis to Argentina.

The buildings represent the actual aspects which are tangible to the
unknown events and which occurred in the last century. Looking at the
buildings with an open mind perhaps will help understand the significance
that Bariloche had to the Nazis and vice-versa. Also important files might
give additional evaluation with new information about what part Bariloche
had during WW II and after the war, the greatest conflict in history.

The extradition of Hauptsturmführer Priebke motivated a great debate in

San Carlos di Bariloche. This is where the eighty year old German had
resided almost fifty years after leaving Europe and entered South America
with a false name. Is it true that the postal area of Bariloche is filled with
hidden history of the Third Reich?

EDITOR NOTE – As one reads this report by SEIG Agent SECOND

SON, the reader will note his strong political stance in his reporting and
writing.
ED NOTE– PRIEBKE was head of the German School (below) and the
German Cultural Center in Bariloche.
There
was vast buying of land extensions with forest areas here and in other parts
of Argentina. Was Nazi gold used? Myth or real history?

This guide is a result of an investigation of titles of property and

installations and business. It must be taken into account. During the 1940’s
Bariloche was a small town on a mountain and now Bariloche has been
considered as one of the principle tourist cities in Argentina.

In order to arrive to the conclusion that this southern zone was an exile area
for the Nazis, there was testimony from the old townspeople– plus there
was verification of information that existed in the Office of Municipal
Records of the local town. Also, there was investigation of old documents
from that era.

Documents “ Lostin a Fire….and a Flood” There were not many old

documents due to the mysterious fire in that community during the 1960’s.
Even the judicial documents of that period became damaged and ruined due
to a heavy rain deposit and flash flood of that area. Finally, records were
destroyed by an official order – yet some documents were able to be
obtained from the Protocol Justice of the Peace. Other information was able
to be gained from birth certificate, marriage and death certificates from the
Civil Judge.

This intent to get close to the historical truth implemented in the first guide
to the camp. It leaves no doubt in respect to the important characters of
Nazism that had direct connection with the beautiful city of San Carlos di
Bariloche in Patagonia.

EDITOR NOTE: When (then) Oberleutnant zur See Wilhelm Canaris
escaped internment in Chile after the failed 1915 ‘Battle of the Falkland
Islands’, he came over the Andes and found Bariloche. He kept

this in his mind and when he became Admiral Canaris, head of the Abwehr
and the war was going badly for Germany in 1944, he suggested this town
as a refuge for Hitler.
The yellow and gold lands gave great credit to the property of fertile lands.
This is the base for this document and investigation which brings the many
leads of historical connections that took place, the refuge, at the town which
grew at the shore of the Lake Nahuel Huapi.

German Nazis, Austrians, Croats, French and Swiss collaborators as well as

Italian Fascists and other Europeans elected to live in Bariloche. Their
Europe had been destroyed; this was their new land. When they arrived,
they demonstrated great fullness, amazement and even confirm that the
mountains and lakes reminded them of their old countries. They met other
Europeans and with Aryan blood townspeople they were received with open
arms.
The Argentine Government was pleased to receive the European wave of
immigrants, which permitted the exchange of genetic mixture of the
Argentines– to ‘better’ have a quality of population. The Argentine
authorities believe this was the moment to relish; the grey matter of the
Germans, famous for the quality of work, inventive and technological
advancements as well as the scientists which had amazed the world. They
were admired in a ‘friendly country’ in which they were admitted – a new
nation which will permit them to live their lives.

In Argentina, the Anglo-Saxons rapidly obtain work in the state area, the
same community in local national organizations and private German
companies like Siemens and Mercedes Benz. No German son could be out
of work therefore they, the Germans, created businesses in order to have
that goal. In the case of chief Nazis and war criminals, they were given
protection and financial support within the local organizations. Maintaining
this status helped them achieve to associate with the Argentinean military,
business and politicians at Silver River (Rio de la Plata) and which
Argentineans admired Adolf Hitler.

United with German interests, these groups fertilized the extreme right in
Argentina and these influences were left with power during Argentina’s
military dictatorship.

In Bariloche during the first part of the Twentieth Century, there were
already Germans living in that area. The Nazis that came quickly organized
to be the architects that forged the destiny of the Germans living there who
had elected this as their new nation. These factors were the main focus to
establish a new community.

In regard to emigration – the city began to grow in the Alpine German

architecture style as seen in our photos. The Germans’ ideology was
received well in the society. The new wave of war veterans, members of the
Third Reich, now became citizens of Bariloche. Financial members and
scientists also formed part of this European influx and looking forward to
peace and quiet from far away Europe. Bariloche became known as the
Switzerland of Argentina.
Bariloche became a refuge and Eden for whomever wanted tranquility and
personal security. They (Germans and others) crossed the Atlantic Ocean to
live in this new nation, changed from night to day.

EDITOR NOTE – At this time, we have learned, there was armed security
on the land and on the water as well as a ring of security sites around the
mountains ringing the town and the lake. During our visits to Bariloche we
visited a few such observation sites. They are still there.

This party was in Bariloche

The bucolic village situated in the foothills of the Andes in the southern
hemisphere became a Euro town. This town used to consider creole citizens
as second class; useful for cheap labor. In the restaurants they drank beer,
ate the traditional dishes; the Europeans dance their traditional dances and
wore traditional customs. They sang melodies from across the Atlantic.

Sometimes, in private parties, SS uniforms would appear with war ribbons,

photos and German Swastika banners would be displayed.

The flags were brought, hidden in their luggage when they crossed the
Atlantic. In Bariloche, one could ski, climb mountains, fish and farm.
Thanks to the great weather, plants and trees could be planted. The
introduction of the red deer and wild boar, both exotic animals in South
America, permitted the weapon lovers to practice hunting of these exotic
animals– as long as they were hunted on their property.
On the other side, the German school “Primo Capraro” was funded by
former SS Erich Priebke and his friends. It became the principal
establishment for education in the town.

Also, the Deutsche Club became the principal reunion place for ex Nazis
emigrated to Patagonia. In other words, a German village was established in
the Andes.

The Argentine Government in t he ‘40s put a lot of millions of Pesos (cash)

to renovate that zone. The official version given was to keep up the national
forest directive of Argentina and tourism.

There existed other interests that were directly related to the Nazis that
began arriving in Argentina. At the moment the Germans started losing the
war and during World War Two, Nazis started to infiltrate secret agents and
put them in different departments of the State of Argentina. For example–
the Director of National Parks, which was a key to development in
Patagonia. There was one operative spy in Bariloche with the last name
‘Kains’.

AUTHOR NOTE – It is interesting to note that‘social/political’

commentary was utilized by the Argentine Government inside the National
Park Nahuel Huapi, in that area of great forested surroundings. The
Argentine State gave ‘confiscated land’ to German aristocracy; also to
anonymous German/Nazi individuals. This was done to get rid of native
Argentines, original aboriginal people out of their lands yet this was not
new because since the 19th Century, there was a massive extermination of
Argentine Indians in Patagonia.

It was knownas the ‘depopulation program’.

During that time, a lot of important work was accomplished. For example,
the road Exequizl Bustillo, which centered to the city zone of Llao-Llao
where the famous Hotel International (below) is located, which was on the
first asphalt road in Patagonia.
EDITOR NOTE – This magnificent hotel was built with German money in
1938 and rebuilt in 1939 after a major fire. For some reason, President
Eisenhower visited this hotel in the middle of nowhere in 1960. Presidents
Carter, Clinton and Obama also visited here during their presidencies– one
must wonder why. On the next page is a photo of the photo in the lobby of
the hotel.
It was supported also by the Argentine Government to bring about modern
infrastructure started in the decade of the 1940’s. During World War Two a
network of communications became functional and was now connected to
Argentine provinces. In May 1940 the President of Argentina, Robert Ortiz,
announced the inauguration of telephone lines in Bariloche; also San Martin
de los Andes and remote areas like Lake Correntoso. The system would be
incorporated in the location of Esquel, situated three hundred kilometers
south of Bariloche. In that same year (1940) a military unit was formed at
the west zone of the town (photo next page) and then an air service was
established to fly to Buenos Aires.

AUTHOR NOTE – In 1921 was the first flight accomplished from Buenos
Aires to Bariloche. The airplanes would land on the only landing strip
which was located at the German owned ranch ‘Estancia San Ramon’.
Years before in Bariloche, seaplanes were used to land on Lake Nahuel
Huapi.

EDITOR NOTE – When we first visited this ranch (Estancia San Ramon)
in 2008 the ranch manager, a polite man in his 40’s, answered all our
questions...until we asked in which guest house did Adolf Hitler and Eva
Braun stay over the winter (June-July) 1945. Rather than give the obvious
answer that he was not even born at that time– he said “I have been ordered
that I may not speak about that”. Makes one wonder why.
In this photo abovewe’re approaching the entrance to Estancia San Ramon.
The sign can be seen over the roadway between the tall trees. Below is the
grave of an earlier manager of the Estancia– Luis Baron von Bülow.

At the same time, any land close to these zones were given to anonymous,
mysterious individuals. This fact was unknown until recently. Without a
doubt, Bariloche was ‘the elected zone’.

The city was developed like a protected island in Patagonia; a Lost Paradise
where the aristocracy could have mansions and enjoy their vacations,
surrounded by war criminals. During those forty years, the inhabitants made
use of the land and hundreds of kilometers were constructed along the
Andes.

The Germans during the war used this time to spy and gather information
passed on to Nazi agents in Patagonia. This gathering of information was
taken at Club Andino in Bariloche.
EDITOR NOTE – We have learned that a German expert skier named Otto
Mehling built his own small home which he called the Berghof (photo
below) high on a mountain overlooking the lake. We are told that he
initiated a ring of observation posts around Lake Nahuel Huapi prior to the
war; he was instrumental in founding Club Andino, a spy HQ at the time.

Germany had realized the important coasts and natural resources. Germany
had scouted the coasts with great detail– for example, the location of
mineral deposits that existed in Argentina. A great part of this information
gathered about Argentina’s details was sent to Germany, to Berlin. The
people who sent this information were addicted to National Socialism.
During the Third Reich Administration, the complete information was
already known about Argentina and Buenos Aires.

Berlin also had Plan A during the war – an exile plan of evacuation in case
of defeat and Patagonia was a place destined to be one of the sites for this
exile. Argentina was considered a friendly country by Adolf Hitler.
Argentina was neutral in the First World War and the Second World War.
EDITOR NOTE – Argentina declared war against Germany just weeks
before the collapse of the Reich. It was under intense pressure from the
United States that it was done but, Argentina took no measures against
Germany even though a state of war existed on paper.

The commercial relations were good. The Argentine Army trained their
soldiers in Germany (photo below), and Argentina had adopted regulations
from Germany as well. Even the Argentine uniform was like Germany.

The immense territory in Patagonia showed inadequate security by

Argentina. This created opportunity for entering or leaving the country in
clandestine operations in the coastal regions and the mountains of the
Andes.

EDITOR NOTE – In our KTB Magazine, we have seen time after time
where Patagonian security was breached in the Golfo San Mattias area; and
we know Oberleutnant zur See Wilhelm Canaris crossed the Andes by
horseback in 1915 after the light cruiser DRESDEN was sunk.
In Patagonia, a German community was well established in the start of the
20th Century. There existed ideal conditions for the new German

emigration to prosper in this “isolated place of

the planet” and many were able to realize a
living here. The popular story is that Nazis did
live in Bariloche. Living in a permanent stay,
these Nazis evaded international law after the
war, and secret agents of Israel. And so it is
realized that Adolf Hitler DID live in Bariloche
with Eva Braun. Also - Martin Bormann.

Although the official story is that all three died

in 1945. There are more assured facts that there
was a private clinic located near the hotel
Llao-Llao. This medical team did plastic
surgery in order that war criminals could
change their physical appearance.

Now that place is Hotel Tunquelen. In this place the ex-president was
detained by Argentina– Arturo Frundizi, when a coup d’etat took over his
government in 1962. Another fact is Josef Mengele, the “Angel of Death”
lived and worked as a doctor and even

got his driving license to use in Bariloche with false documents. EDITOR
NOTE - Since 1930 voices were spreading news over Nazis in Patagonia.
In March 1939 in Buenos Aires there was an outcry over Argentina
receiving secret documents to the German Embassy. The documents
indicated that Germany was willing to take over Patagonia as
Berlinconsidered it ‘nobody’s land’ because nobody lived there in that
region. This case was known as ‘Complot Patagonia’ and it was in many
Argentine newspapers. Some arrests were made and protests in diplomacy
but nothing determined the authentic Nazi documents because the copies
were not good so this was not confirmed.

The south of Argentina was also a jail for constitutional presidents that had
fallen from military take-overs in the 1970’s. Isabel Martinez became Vice-
President which then gave power to her husband, Juan Perón. When Perón
died, who had been President three times in Argentina, his wife became title
Executive Power but in 1976 she was defeated by military government led
by Lieutenant General Raphael Videla. She was transferred to Patagonia
and was at El Mesidor next to Villa la Angostura, about 60 kilometers from
Bariloche.

This photo was not from the war years – it was shot in 1974! In the case of
Adolf Eichmann, he walked in the middle of town without any problems. In
those days Bernard Timmermann, Chief of spies of Chile during 1943-1945
was already looking for a safe haven and it was Bariloche. In those days,
key characters like Franz Ruffinengo opened ‘Tourist Agencies’ in order to
facilitate emigration of Nazis to Argentina.
Intelligence Agent Reinhard
Kopps, alias Juan Maler, used
tourism to open the
Campana in Bariloche.
Hotel

This

really facilitated the use of naval

and aviation services of
Argentina to import Nazis. Thus, Europeans were able to work in
construction in hotels and great buildings, financed by German capital.

Even now, on the 20th of April (Hitler’s birthday) in Bariloche and in the
south of Chile where many ex-Nazis lived and also relatives, celebrated
Adolf Hitler’s birthday just like any other secret parts of the world also do.

EDITOR NOTE– This photo was taken in Colombia

From the old generation of Nazis, some still tell stories of the good old
days. There have been many related articles written about Bariloche and the
Nazi connection. Therefore, this piece will not pretend to know everything
about this matter in order to keep an honest opinion and subjective matter to
the case. Many ex-Nazis lived in Bariloche but there were unknown
characters. Plastic surgery, official complicity and fake documents made all
this a larger than life historical event. This is just a ‘bird’s eye’ view of
Nazism in that zone. There is an old saying………..

‘In order to look, only a push-button is needed’ EDITOR NOTE– We have

no idea what this means and we wish to remind the reader that this piece
was written by another person; hence the overly abundant use of the term
“Nazi” and “War Criminals”.

On a night in February 1956, an Israeli agent operated in a two year time

frame in Argentina. Known as ‘B.A.’ he entered the Café San Carlos in
Bariloche at the Rio Negro on the outskirts of Lake Nahual Huapi. This was
a wild region, very far from the capital and on the border with Chile.
Meanwhile, as‘B.A.’ was drinking his tea, a group of Germans were sitting
in the café. ‘B.A.’ observed the group and realized they were all ex-Nazis.
One of them seemed to be an expert in stamp collecting. He showed and
displayed Austrian stamps and talked smartly about them. Later on ‘B.A.’
returned to Buenos Aires where he got information by luck about an article
in an Israeli newspaper about Adolf Eichmann. In this articlethere was a
picture of Adolf Eichmann and ‘B.A.’ recognized Eichmann as the stamp
collector he saw at San Carlos di Bariloche. This was proof that Eichmann
was really alive.

This preceding was a story from Storia Dello Spionaggio.

The Wilhelm Canaris connection; Berlin – Patagonia. He was not Admiral

Canaris during World War One. He was Oberleutnant zur See Canaris, an
officer aboard the cruiser DRESDEN (above) which was commanded by
Kapitän zur See Fritz Ludecke. Canaris was historically unknown during
the First World War but a key factor in relation to Nazis in Argentina and
especially in Patagonia.
During World War One he was a young naval officer but with time he
became Chief Executive of the Secret Service for Adolf Hitler.

In the month of December 1914 DRESDEN joined a German convoy and

the convoy was commanded by Admiral Maximillian Graf (Count) von
Spee. This German convoy was in the Southern Hemisphere and on the 7th
of December 1914 this German Fleet confronted in battle at Islas Malvinas
(Falkland Islands). This is a strategic area for South American operations.
von Spee and eight hundred sailors died in the naval battle– a disaster for
Germany.

EDITOR NOTE – All this information and in great detail, is in our

book“Hitler and the Secret Alliance” written by S.E.I.G. Agent MICHAEL
IVINHEIM. Look to page 14 of that book.

DRESDEN escaped (she was one knot faster than the Royal Navy ships),
transited the Straits of Magellan and made it to the Chilean port of Punta
Arenas. She then traversed along the inland waterway passages, avoiding
the Royal Navy.
EDITOR NOTE – During this transit, Canaris made many charts of the
hidden coves and inlets like the one on the previous page where German
ships could lie undetected. It was helpful in the Second World War.

NOTE – The Falkland Islands have been British since 1833 when they
were taken over from Argentina. After the British victory at Trafalgar in
1805 against Napoleon, the British began the strategic take-over of islands
in the South Atlantic. The British tried to seize Buenos Aires in 1806 and
1807 but failed. Spee had been to the Falklands to establish a German base,
there but failed.

This story has been told by S.E.I.G. Agent MICHAEL IVINHEIN in our
book“Hitler and the Secret Alliance”.

In 1982 the military government of Argentina under General Leopoldo

Galtiere (photo left) tried to take back the Falklands but the British won and
they still retain the Falkland Islands.

9 March 1915 the ship commanded by Ludecke arrived at Robinson Island

in the archipelago called Juan Fernandez looking for refuge.

Three British cruisers then arrived, leaving the Germans no way out and so
they destroyed their ship and three days later they were picked up by the
Chilean Navy and taken to Talcahuano in Chile and then sent to the small
island Quirquina. It did not take long, and Canaris with other Germans
managed to escape, thanks to a German community in that area. He arrived
at Osorno and linked up with Carlos Wiederhold, a German Consul in that
area. He crossed the mountains from Chile to Argentina and later
established himself at Lake Nahuel Huapi. He dedicated himself to the wool
industry and named his company ‘la Alemana’ or‘the German’.

According to records found, he became a diplomat and founder of the town.

He changed the name to San Carlos de Bariloche. By horseback, Canaris
crossed the Andes in 1915 and spent Christmas in the colony of some
Germans. In Bariloche Canaris remembered Christian Lahausen, a
commercial businessman in the wool industry during the 19th Century. In
the shops of the compatriot Mauricio Braun, founder of a chain of
supermarkets named ‘la Anonima’ which means ‘the Anonymous’ Canaris
found help.

In Bariloche, Canaris was assisted at Estancia San Ramon by Baron von

Bülow. The estate was owned by the German prince Schaumburg-Lippe.

IMPORTANT – Canaris then utilized a false passport, returned to

Germany and became specialized in submarines. He also did important
work in espionage in different countries. It is suggested but not proven, that
Canaris came back to Argentinain the 1920’s.

In time, Canaris became the top chief of Secret Services for the Third
Reich. His know-how in the Patagonia permitted him to establish resupply
of German submarines
during World War Two; also the
Atlantic and Pacific were his spheres
of influence. Canaris was the one
that picked Patagonia in that zone of
the world in order to find refuge for
Hitler in case Germany lost the war.

Here we see the old spy chief

getting out of his car at HQ
AUTHOR NOTE – The story of the name of the town is from a
Scotsman,Enrique O’Neill. He wrote a letter to Weiderhold but instead of
Senor Carlos or Don Carlos, he wrote San Carlos. Wiederhold was laughing
about the new name, so decided to change it to San Carlos. It later became
San Carlos de Bariloche in order to avoid confusion to other towns. In
reality,

Other Europeans were Wiederhold was the only white settler. living in
Bariloche since the 19th Century.

Emigrants Jose Menendez and competition in warehouse logs at the Chile

area of Puenta Arenas ‘la Anonima’ (the anonymous). Braun married the
oldest daughter of Menendez, Josefina Menendez Behety. By 1942 their
business was the biggest import and export in Patagonia utilizing their naval
commercial network to expand. In present Mauricio Braun had times, this
business now produces about 300 million Pesos (cash money) annually.

The system to gather information in regards to Patagonia that Canaris

established was based from the house of Lahousen; also other members of
the community with German roots from Argentina and Chile.

Canaris gathered a lot of information for Berlin from the European

businesses in South America. These files must be known in order to further
understand the relations of Nazis in Patagonia.

Since the beginning of the 20th Century the Argentine forces had formed
close ties with Germany. These Argentine interests forced Juan Domingo
Perón to be a friendly nation towards the armies of Germany. In World War
II, the Argentine Government maintained a neutral stance but by pressure of
the United States, it declared an initial step of hostilities toward the Axis –
Germany and Japan, yet this happened a few weeks before the war ended. It
was just a formal declaration.

These good relations between Buenos Aires and Berlin became an

important factor. This factor was the isolation of Argentina with the rest of
the world. An immense country without really any frontier security and a lot
of inaccessible sites inhabitable to anyone…..a perfect refuge area to be
used by the Axis after the fall of Berlin.

In 1945 a lot of Nazis arrived in Argentina. They used false passports and
the Argentine Government let them in. Also, a lot of submarines in a final
convoy arrived to Patagonia between July and August 1945. This was a
secret naval operation unknown by Germany or the Allies.

In 1911 the German Secret Service of the war navy was created and it was
known as the‘Etappendienst’. Their mission in peace was to record all
merchant ships and warships of foreign countries and gather information
from spies in service to Germany.

The principal workers used were German workers in navigational

companies and German sympathizers. During World War One (1914 –
1918) this service provided important contribution to the Pacific Squadron
of Admiral Graf von Spee and disguised cruisers.
EDITOR NOTE– This is covered extensively in our book “Hitler and the
Secret Alliance” written by SEIG
Agent Michael Ivinheim.

Patagonia has a surface area of 787,163 square

kilometers and that is 1/3 of the land of
Argentina. This is a remarkable size over other
countries. For example– the surface of Denmark,
Holland, Greece and Belgium add to only
241,507 square kilometers. Although it has great
size, the population that inhabit Patagonia is
small. In the census of 1980 there was only 1.31
person per square kilometer. That is less than any other part of the world.

This lack of population permitted the intense killing of native

Argentineanswhich created the ‘depopulation’ of the people here in the
1930’s at Patagonia.

EDITOR NOTE – This program of ‘depopulation’ is merely a nice word

for the genocide of the indigenous people. There was not even a war such as
in the North
American West– they were just hunted,
found and executed.

On the west of Argentina there is a natural

frontier of thousands
formed by the Andes.
of miles with Chile
On the east there are
3,000 kilometers of desolate beaches. The
Nazis did go to other countries but by the
quantity and ‘quality’ almost all arrived to
Argentina. The estimate is about 20,000 to
30,000. This nation became the main area of
arrival of the refugees.

position of Minister of Foreign Relations with Ambassadorial duties.
Bianchi states that Perón sold 2,000 passports and about 8,000 seals in
blank to the Nazis. The lawyer, a friend of Luigi P. Dos, Lucio Gelli and
defender of former Admiral Eduardo Massera given during an interview
taken place in January 1997. The lawyer assured that:

“Perón being helped by the Nazis was a real fact”.

He also indicated that these individuals used the blank seals to live in
Bolivia, Brasil and Paraguay with the rest living in Argentina. Perón
received about six million dollars for this generous support. Some
investigations marked the arrival of 1945 to 1955 about 80,000 Germans,
Austrians and Croats. To that number one must add 10,000 to 20,000 using
false passports. The last to enter had to be the war criminals and fanatical
military Nazis.

The resting place of Baron von Bülow in San Ramon east of San Carlos di
Bariloche, about 15 kilometers east. This was the first fence area camp in
the area of Nahuel Huapi and this is where the Argentina Government
decided to put the new arrivals since the beginning of the 20th Century. In
1904 about 39,000 acres in San Ramon were bought by a Chilean society
which they later sold to a commercial livestock cattle company of Chile and
Argentina. The business was represented by a German with the last name
HORN. The first administrator was the ex-Prussian Colonel Baron von
Reichnaught. According to files on record, on 5 April 1910 this company
then sold this business to the German Prince Schaumburg-Lippe.

During this time the Germans sent as administrator Baron Ludwig von
Bülow. On 8 March 1926, this company‘Orestate’ was bought by a German
group ‘Treuhand Society of Administration and Mandates’ which was sold
on 2 March 1928. This estate was then acquired by the ‘Anonymous Society
of Rural Industry’, represented by Christel Lahousen.

EDITOR NOTE – Lahousen Wool Company had shops all over Argentina
and they became the safehouses and meeting places for German spies and
agents before, during and maybe even after World War Two.
By the end of the 1930’s in Argentina there was 37 Anonymous societies
controlled by German capital with a value of 140 million Pesos. From the
beginning of the Twentieth Century a real emporium was established in
Patagonia. Within these estates, sheep were grown to get wool and to sell it
in Europe, Lahousen had many warehouses to get this chain going.
Lahousen also was an agent for South America Hamburg Maritime
Company with German money. This maritime company brought in boats for
their industry in the waters of South America.

Remains of a Lahousen factory designed allegedly to extract fats and oils

from sea lions. It is also believed they supplied U-Boats from such
facilities.

Up to the decade of the 1940’s the r oute across into Bariloche traversed
with San Ramon. In that camp (ranch) there was a railroad station that
stopped at San Ramon. This railroad was known as the Southern Railroad.
EDITOR NOTE – We believe that this is the rail stop where Adolf Hitler
and Eva Braun-Hitler got off the train in mid-winter 1945 and where they
stayed until that spring.

Years later connections were built to reach Bariloche. Also, inside the
Lahousen Estate, there was only one landing strip for aircraft in the zone.
This property was a ‘long neck bottle’ because whoever passed through
Bariloche had to pass through German lands.

EDITOR NOTE – Some time ago, we were informed by SEIG Agent

PIZZARRO that three Ju 188 aircraft were modified for passengers and
outfitted with 900-gallon belly tanks and two wing tanks of 250 gallons
each. This agent reported that the staff of SS General Ratenhuber was
among those aboard these three planes that flew to Africa, to the bulge of
Africa across the Atlantic to the bulge of Brazil then down to a ranch in
Argentina. Is it possible that the Lahaousen Ranch was the final destination
for these special planes? And we must wonder who was on board those
aircraft.

This estate has been sold to Swiss buyers in 1982 but Estancia San Ramon
remains with the original owners. Just 100 meters from Provincial Road 22,
which crosses the property, one can see the grave of Baron von Bülow.

In Patagonia, the South American Hamburg Maritime Line built the ships

Bertinat and Niehbur and then later, Lahousen and Company.

EDITOR NOTE – Kapitän zur See Niehbur was the German Naval
Attaché in Buenos Aires – and he was one of the top operatives in South
America.

The sustained belief that Hitler committed suicide in Berlin was rebuked by

but no evidence was found of Hitler being there. This is

The FBI recently released documents that, after the war, speculation.
Americans continued looking for Hitler. EDITOR NOTE – It was our
SEIG Agent TAUCHER who spent weeks in the National Archives, finding
a great number of boxes covered in dust that, upon inspection had all these
FBI files in them. TAUCHER got all the files declassified and we have
hundreds of now-declassified FBI files. After reading what is in these files,
only an idiot would still believe the suicide story.

Many of these files are reprinted in our book “Hitler in Argentina”.

FBI did not believe that Hitler

committed suicide with wife Eva Braun.

Many files from the FBI assure us that Hitler disembarked from a
submarine on the beach at Patagonia.
EDITOR NOTE – We are certain that he did not come to
Patagonia aboard a U-Boat. Our research indicates that the
missing gigantic JU 390-V2 with incredible range brought Hitler
to South America, but actually landed in Uruguay.
EDITOR NOTE - During our various expeditions to South America, we
were at the very place this old hand-drawn chart
indicates. The area is exactly the way it is shown on the old chart. We
interviewed people who lived in the area in 1945. There is no doubt that this
is where and how Adolf Hitler came to South America.

Congress by the radical Deputy Sinvano Santander. This list has chief
Nazis, some known and others anonymous, living in Argentina.

In 1940, Uruguay politician Fernandez Arturio accused the House of

Lahousen for having direct interest with the Third Reich. This accusation
was ratified by Santander. He was the member of the Commission of Anti-
Argentine activities in the National Congress which was created 19th June
1941. It must be stated that the mentioned commission was ended on 4th
June 1943 due to the end of the legislative power in Argentina. Santander
also denounced Vigilant Commission of Enemy Property, which had to
confiscate in Argentina, all goods and capitals from the Germans during the
start of World War Two. He pointed at “transactions between properties had
been noticed of Lahousen at Patagonia”.

U-Boats off Patagonia…..in Late July 1945

There is also a testament from German Navy mariners (sailors) Rodolfo
Walter Diettelmann and Mariano Alfredo Schultz– both crewmembers of
the Nazi panzerschiff GRAF SPEE in which the days 28 and 29 July 1945
clandestine submarines arrived on the coast of Patagonia. They witnessed
the ‘reception’ of two submarines. They also state that before the
disembarkment, a group of Germans transferred secretly and discreetly
towards the south, to the estates of Patagonia which Lahousen controlled.

The firm of Diedrich and Christel Lahausen, who were both born in
Bremen, had a vast network of businesses in Argentina. Since 1945
Lahausen directed the great enterprise of commercial business from his
central office located inBuenos Aires. Diedrich presided over “The
Anonymous Society of Exports and Imports Lahausen” and also “Carboclor
S.A.” and other groups.

Christel was the titular leader of security companies “La Germano

He was also a member of the Directors of the press “Sedalana” and was

Bariloche they owned

even more property. In more recent times, the estates in San Ramon were
administered by a contractor, the pro-Nazi Rudolfo Freude.

EDITOR NOTE – As we read in our book“Hitler in Argentina”, Rudolfo

Freude was the Director of a large German bank in Buenos Aires, was
instrumental in helping bring in millions of dollars for “die Spinne” to help
the Germans who fled to South America after the war and he was also a
close friend with Juan Perón. After the war, the Allies issued an arrest
warrant for Freude but Perón more or less said that Freude was his personal
friend and he was not going anywhere for the Allies.
Incidentally, “die Spinne” means ‘the Spider’ but most know it by its
Hollywood name– “Odessa!”

The monument “ Conquest in the Desert” remembers the blood and fire of
the Argentine Army under command of General Julio Argentino Roca at the
end of the 19th Century. During his expedition, the Argentine Army killed
thousands of native Aboriginal Argentines in Patagonia.

The main mission of this military operation was to finance the national
sovereignty of those regions. Even today this massacre is celebrated in
memory of the genocide. This is not only the Memorial remembered but in
the plaza at the civic center of Bariloche and the same name was given
“Conquest of the Desert”. Today it is named “Expedition to the Desert” and
there is a statue in the image of General Roca who was also President of
Argentina. One can say that the contempt for human life was a constant in
Patagonia. This was a parallel outlook which gave refuge to the Nazis.

THE HOUSE OF LUDWIG FREUDE

The location of the Freude Family home is Los Pioneros Avenieda KM2
and is an Alpine home and constructed of stone and wood next to the corner
street of Los Cipresales. The property is on Cerro Otto (Otto Mountain)
next to a great forest area. This area has been known to be divided to
different lots now. To enter this area, one must pass through Los Cipresales
while the Los Pioneros Ave. is in conjunction next to the buildings that
forms the estate named “Ruca-Lil”.

Freude was born in Germany in 1892 and became one of the ten richest
people in South America. He supported Peron during the Presidential
Campaign, which Peron won in 1946.

Freude arrived in Argentina in 1913 and during World War One his function
was to coordinate a spy network for Germany. By the 1940’s he was
sending information to Berlin. It is perhaps assured that he was the
executive in charge ofthe “Oficinia Tres” (Three Offices) of Nazi Intel in
South America during World War Two.

This is when his spy activities were counted and respected and received by
German Chancellor Joachim von Ribbentrop. Freude was a trusted
individual by the Third Reich. He then took over diplomatic channels
between Buenos Aires and Berlin with other Nazis when German General
Wolf was ordered somewhere else. He was the man in contact in Argentina,
plus Freude was a millionaire– very well financed.

In 1946 Colonel Juan Perón was forced to renounce his position of

Secretary of labor and provision. He found refuge in a summer house called
‘Ostende’ which was a Freude house on the Tiger Delta in Buenos Aires.
Perón then met his girlfriend, later his wife, Eva Duarte there. She was
there with Perón until he was taken for political reasons to the island of
Martin Garcia.

Freude appears in many FBI files and in these files, it is certain that he
participated in spying. Freude was even mentioned in the‘Blue Book’, a
critical official document of the United States Department which covers
Argentina during World War Two. This document accuses the Perón
Administration and other individuals like Freude to have a haven
established in Argentina to protect Nazi-Facists.
‘ Perón Hands Off’ Decree
Silvano Santander during the 1940’s also accused Freude of being a Nazi
during and after the war. On 6 September 1946 Perón made and signed a
special decree to terminate any and all investigations of Freude and any
other similar investigations.

Freude became CEO of many German companies in Argentina. These

companies hired ex-Nazis– companies like Rhenania S.A.; Saera S.A.;
General Construction; Saema S.A.; Saita S.A. etc. In Bariloche he owned
the hotel‘El Trebol’ located in the town. He spent six months in Bariloche
and the rest of the year in Buenos Aires– a lot of time away for a major
CEO.

Freude and one o f his sons named ‘Rudi’ owned the property ‘Rula-Lil’
and in 1946 he was named Security Secretary to President Juan Peron. Also,
by a mandate from the Executive National Power, he was assigned a
Sublieutenant (2nd in Command) to the Infantry Marines Reserves of
Argentina. This decree violated the normal chain of command in that time
period that no civilian could be named for a military position in that way.

The son of Freude created the Secretary of Information for the State in
Argentina and organized the legal and the illegal of Nazis passing through
the River Platte. He let in for example– Dr. Josef Mengele, Adolf Eichmann
and many others. To accomplish this task under Perón in 1948 the
“Commission Peralta” was created, which objective was to elect
individuals leaving Berlin after the war. This commission was led by
Santiago Peralta and Pablo Diana and also Colonel Enrique Gonzalez who
was an assistant to Perón. This commission let in many Nazis that did not
have all the correct documents to enter into Argentina. The commission was
dependent on ‘Rudi’ Freude directly.

This man (Rudi) was born in 1913 and he never mentioned the secrets and
connection of individuals of the Third Reich – and the information about
the gold carried from Europe to South America at the end of World War
Two. Freude was the administrator until the most recent time during his stay
at San Ramon with the Nazi activities. His daughter Lili married Werner
Konnecke, a dedicated German agent who was part of the network of the
Third Reich in Argentina.

This marriage brought more properties to Bariloche. Konnecke also had an

office in the Banco Germanico in Argentina. In this banking institution the
Abwehr funds were processed, then known as the German Intelligence
Service and of the E-Dienst. This was the organization who was responsible
for the resupply of ships and submarines for the Nazis. Konnecke was also
part of the ‘Red Bolivar’ – the Bolivar Network. This network worked with
Nazi sympathizers that worked for a bloc of countries, leaders of Argentina,
in order to join and support Adolf Hitler.

EL MARINO MILLONARIO– THILO MARTENS

Location of the house of Thilo Martens was Los Cipresales Street in the
center of Otto. The house of Thilo Martens in Bariloche was near to that of
Freude. It was the same style construction; typical Alpine. Martens was a
German mariner in the Kriegsmarine and was a friend of Admiral Wilhelm
Canaris.

EDITOR NOTE – Canaris eventually was the chief spy in Germany when
he became head of the Abwehr. After the July 1944 attempt on the life of
Hitler in the Wolfsschanze it was determined that, although Canaris had no
active part in the plot, he knew about it and did nothing to stop it or to
inform Hitler. For this ‘oversight’ he was stripped of rank and power then
put into Flossenberg Concentration Camp. When the Allies were about two
days away from overrunning the camp, Canaris was stripped naked, had a
thin piece of piano wire wrapped around his neck then hung up to strangle.
When he was dead, his naked body was dumped in the snow and the
soldiers used it as a urinal. It was not good to double-cross the
boss…………

The lands of Freud e and Martens were transferred to the ‘Ruca’ Society
when Juan Perón fell from power in Argentina. The same happened to other
German businesses from a German group in 1957. These were minor
transactions handled by the Anonymous Society in order to protect the Nazi
refugees after the end of WW II. These transactions happened after Perón
lost power in 1955 and he could no longer offer protection and political
support. Martens however, was a genius in financial matters and was well
able to utilize the Third Reich funds in Argentina.

He established the Naval North-German Lloyd and as a member was able to

move freely in South America. In 1935 the German spy network sent agents
to prepare clandestine deposits of provisions and fuel that would be used by
German submarines and ships. Canaris then used his agents already living
in that area, for example Martens. In 1939 Martens returned to Germany
because he wanted to join the German Naval Force (Kriegsmarine). Canaris
however, declined his offer but instead told him that he would be of better
service by returning to Argentina.

He was back in Buenos Aires, in his business and naval agency but his
mission was to seek out bases for German U-Boats along the Argentine
coastline. Just as they did in World War One, he was to establish materials
like coal and fuel on the beaches of Patagonia. He took charge of selling the
German vessels caught in the port of Buenos Aires in the blockade in World
war Two. He also took part in the operation to rescue and hide the German
crew from the Panzerschiff GRAF SPEE.

He organized the reception and sending of documentation and contraband

that was utilized by his floating merchant fleet and other friendly naval
companies. Finally, he put a lot of time and effort with efficiency the spy
network that could obtain much needed information from other navy forces
from different parts of the world. Buenos Aires became a hub during World
War Two.

Let us recognize that the birth of Nazism was in Argentina during the
1930’s. It was directly because of the waterways and ideology that had
arrived in Buenos Aires. This new concept of National Socialism was the
result of merchant marines from the naval vessels of Hamburg-Sud and
Hapag-Lloyd, which came from Hamburg. Since 1945 Martens received
Argentine citizenship. He was a very important person in the German
community and of the rich individuals of Buenos Aires. The Allies believed
Martens did spy operations, but he was also the ‘light house’ for Nazis; a
front man for all Nazi operations in Argentina.
The chief of the Etappandienst, Secret Service for Logistics, of the Nazi
Naval Forces, Captain Werner Stöphasius, said ‘the most successful’
function of that organization was accomplished in Argentina. Stöphasius
explained;

“ The boats moved from one port to another and they did not return after the
regular time had elapsed for the supposed trip. This was a secret, heavily
guarded that no one ship knew when the other would begin a trip, only from
official orders from Berlin could be carried out from any neutral port.”

Of course, the Etapppandienst had enough supplies before the war and there
was never a shortage of supplies.

Erich Priebke, Sharkhunters Member #7598 had a house and a delicatessen

named ‘Viena’ on the street 20th Febrero #37 in front of the Club Andino in
Bariloche. There, a group of associates (Goodfellas?) would gather. Priebke
built another estate on the 24th of September #167 which he acquired from a
private estate. In that building a clinic was established as one of the
departments. Erich and his wife Alicia lived in that building and it was in
that building where he was found in 1994 and detained by the Argentine
Federal Police and then extradited to Italy.
In Rome he performed many functions. Among them he was a
representative from Berlin to the Vatican during World War Two. In 1943
Priebke was a key person in the rescue of Benito Mussolini. He was ordered
by the Führer to save Il Duce, the Father of Fascism who was
prisoner by the resolution of the
government under Marshall Pietro Badoglio.

Priebke also did the official translating between Hitler and Mussolini. A
request from the Italian Justice Ministry demanded the extradition of
Priebke from Argentina in 1995. In Italy, he was condemned for taking part
in the wellknown massacre in the Ardeatine in Rome. The number of
civilians killed was three hundred thirty-five. This was a reprisal order
given by Hitler when Italian partisans killed thirty German soldiers. Priebke
admitted to killing two civilians in the Ardeatine Pit and also in

participating in the organization for that killing.

The Italian historian, Cesare DeSimone, assures that Priebke was in charge
of ‘Public Relations’ for the Gestapo and he was in charge of all killings in
Rome. Priebke, according to DeSimone, stated that another operation was
the transfer of one hundred seventeen kilograms (approximately two
hundred fifty-seven pounds) of gold taken from the Banca d’Italia. This was
a direct command of Priebke; orders given by Herbert Kappler according to
the investigation of DeSimone in his work “DORER” meaning Documento
della Resistenza Romana or Document of the Roman Resistance.

EDITOR NOTE – While an excellent historian, the reader cannot help but
note a very strong bias by SECOND SON, so one must separate the
historical facts from the rather apparent political slant contained herein.

The Gestapo Captain arrived in Argentina from Italy aboard the ship SAN
GIDRO on 14 November 1948. When he arrived in Buenos Aires, he used a
passport issued by the International Red Cross in the false name Otto Pape.
He brought his wife Alicia and his two sons Jorge and Ingo. EDITOR
NOTE – During our 2010 Sharkhunters ‘Patrol’ to Argentina, we had
dinner with Jorge Priebke in Bariloche. He is a very intelligent man, fluent
in many languages. At one point during the dinner conversation, he blurted
out:

“If it weren’t for the Nazis, this town wouldnot even exist!”

Priebke first lived in Buenos Aires then moved to Bariloche where, much
later, he used his real name.
Since 1952 his ( PRIEBKE, Sharkhunters Member #7598) new work was
leader in the hotels Catedral and Bella Vista. In 1959 he bought the
delicatessen Viena. He was the founder of the German-Argentine
Association, a supporter of the German college Primo Caparo which was an
important establishment in the city and he was a very respectable individual
in Bariloche. He traveled more than once from Argentina to Europe, using
his real name, and he never had a problem. The name of Priebke in relation
to his Nazi past was put in a book ‘El Pintor de la Suiza Argentina’ (the
Painter from Swiss Argentina) by the writer Esteban Buch published in
1991.
This literary work reveals the life of the Belgian Toon Maes, who also went
to Bariloche for refuge. Toon Maes was a Nazi. He was Chief of
Propaganda in Belgium. Maes was directly dependent of Jef van de Wiel,
the founder of the Workers Association Flemish-German (De Vlag,
DuitsVlaamche Arbeids Gemeen Schap).

Priebke was discovered by the international press when an investigation

was conducted in Bariloche of an ex-Intel agent Reinhard Kops. This case
generated great problems in the Bariloche society. Many opposed the
possibility of Priebke having anything to do with the massacre of Ardeatine
in Rome. The judge council went even further to name him ‘Persona non
Grata’, an unwelcome person.

Then his past appeared to all of Bariloche. The local authorities assured the
citizens that this old man was‘un bueavecino’, a good neighbor. During this
time, many news-press personnel began arriving to Bariloche. This caused
many ex-Nazis to leave the area. When Priebke was extradited with his
family, he was in the process of building a large mansion next to the
lakeshore of Moreno. He planned to live his last days there. It was a special
place like ‘Condor’s Nest’ in the Andes.

On 2 November 1995 the Supreme Court of Argentina authorized the

extradition of the ex-SS official. General Roca from the province of Rio
Negro, voted against this half solicitation of justice by Italy. Priebke was
sentenced to life in prison but due to his old age, he did receive house arrest
in Italy. Argentina did not want Priebke back, so the country which at one
time honored him now turned their backs to him. An official order was
implemented so he never could return to Argentina. The Supreme Court of
Italy denied his request to remove his sentence of house arrest.

Pr iebke’s mansion was built on the lands of Fritz Mandel by Lake Moreno.
Near the shoreline of Lake Moreno, one can observe the mansion built by
the Priebke Family. One can see this great building if driving route
‘Circuito Chico’ (short circuit) at the altitude bridge that crosses Lake
Moreno. This is a twenty acre piece of land that was transferred to Priebke
by the descendants of Fritz Mandl. He was the last owner of many estates in
Bariloche and other zones of Argentina. Mandl was a multi-millionaire
Austrian, dedicated to industry and the business of weapons. He was
accused of letting top Nazis emigrate and transfer visas from the Third
Reich to Argentina.

EDITOR NOTE – Fritz Mandl was a major player on the world stage
before, during and after World War Two. At the request of JACK
GOODIER, Member #127-A/LIFE we dug intoMandl’s life. He gave his
beautiful wife named Hedwig Eve-Maria Kiesler to Adolf Hitler for a night;
we assume to secure a contract. This entire story is covered in our book
“Hitler in Argentina”.
In case you are scratching your head – yes, she left Europe, came to the
United States and took the stage name Hedy Lamarr and was a huge film
star in the US. She was a very intelligent woman and invented several items
used by the US in the war. As a small piece of trivia, after her time in the
movies was behind her, she came to Florida and retired to a town some
forty miles from here where she lived until her death.

Benito Mussolini qualified him as a ‘great statistician and a great friend’

then Mussolini awarded him with the order of ‘Gran Uficialle Della
Corono d’ Italia’ (The Order of Great Official from the Crown of Italy).
During the 1920’s Mandl had operations in Buenos Aires but he arrived in
Argentina in 1937 for the first time. He quickly explored the possibilities of
military operations in local areas like Villa Maria and Rio Tercero in the
province of Cordoba. Mandl concentrated investments, for example, the
buying of La Mazurca S.A., a rice company as well as vast land properties.
He created Safina, a holding company that controlled other business
enterprises.

End o f the 1940’s, the eccentric Mandl, who loved the night life, moved to
Buenos Aires but the FBI was following in his footsteps and investigated
his transfer of funds. In a little time, the FBI qualified Mandl as a
‘representative of the German Government and pro-National Socialist’
indicating in aform that ‘he was NOT recommended to do relations with
signatures with the USA’.

In October 1942 ‘ El Tesoro de la Nacion’ (The Treasure of the Nation from

theNorth) declared him ‘a total blocked citizen’. His personal possessions in
the US and Safina were frozen. Also, the US prohibited any American
banks to do business with any Mandl group.

The Austrian mi llionaire’s objective was to create a weapons industry in

Argentina. He needed to maintain negotiations with Argentina military
groups that took control of the destiny of the nation in the decades of the
1940’s and in May 1944 the Argentine Government granted contracts
valued at some $14 million. The US feared that Mandl could build a strong
military industry, but the US lacked any concrete evidence that would
justify any applications against him.

Finally, the Allies considered Mandl a menace to the peace and tranquility
of the continent. Mandl’s accounts were seized. He, along with Freude,
were the financial supporters of Juan Peron for the election of Juan Perón in
1946.

When Perón fell in 1955, Mandl returned to Europe and took over the
weapons industry of Austrian Arms Hirtenberg. Austria gave him credit in
Europe to re-equip the Austrian Army. He sold the factory Hirtenberg to
Austria and he died six years later, in September 1977.
In Argentina, the Austrian millionaire had many properties and in particular,
a great palace in Cordoba plus other benefits.
EDITOR NOTE – This is the“Palace” we mentioned. It is in the village of
La Falda…..not far from the Eden Hotel where Hitler and Eva Braun stayed
when they visited the Eichhorn Family at the hotel some years after the end
of the war. Strange, isn’t it, how the pieces are all falling together – that so
many important people from the Third Reich settled so near one another.

Cultural Association Germano-Argentina

The association Germano-Argentina of Bariloche was administered by the

German Club and the German School; founded by former SS Captains
(Hauptsturmführer) ERICH PRIEBKE, Sharkhunters Member #7598 and
Horst Fuldner and other Nazis that arrived in Argentina.

The estate was located on the same lot as the Germa n school ‘Primo
Capraro’ and both had the same construction style. Fuldner became a
powerful banker in Argentina and was the promoter for the Division of
Information for the Presidency of the Nation under the first government of
Perón. He was also a recruiter for ‘useful Germans’ after the end of World
War Two. This information was taken by CEANA (Commission for the
Clarity of Activities of Nazism in Argentina.
This document indicated that after the war, Fuldner was sent to Europe in
order to recruit German scientists and technicians as well as for the
Aeronautical Ministry. In this document it also states that Brigadier
Bartolome de la Colina and José Ignacio San Martin supervise the steps
Fuldner should take to facilitate their entry to Argentina and these German
specialists had to work with the armed forces of Argentina.

EDITOR NOTE – When I was in Argentina in 2014, I met the grandson of

San Martin and he is the official historian of the Argentine Air Force. This
very fine gentleman gave me a wonderful tour of the Headquarters of
FAdeA, their Air Force and he showed me the offices of such recognizable
names as Professor Kurt Tank, the designer of the FW 190 known as the
Butcher bird. He also gave me some DVDs, one of which highlighted the
various aircraft of the Air Force up to the early 1960’s. As I watched these
planes taxi past the camera one after another, some looking sleek and
powerful while others looked as if the designer suffered from nightmares –
and suddenly there it was – a Horton Flying Wing! I called him to ask for
an explanation and all he said was that they had moved to Argentina with
literally thousands of German scientists, engineers, technicians and bankers.

This story is getting curiousier and curiousier as Alice said in the movie.
Can we now see how all the pieces are falling into place?

In Rio de la Platte Province, Fuldner became a great banker and created the
Company Capri, a contractor firm for the State. This is where Adolf
Eichmann worked and WILHELM MOHNKE, Sharkhunters Member
#4019, the chief personal guard for Adolf Hitler individuals also worked
there that escaped from Europe.

as well as other
EDITOR NOTE – Eichmann is at the far left of the photo above. His hat at
his trademark jaunty angle and if you look closely, you will see his Hitler
Youth dagger in his belt. He was at an assado (cooking beef over an open
fire) in Cordoba Province near the Hotel Eden. One of the few of the Third
Reich to arrive in Argentina without much money for a nice lifestyle or
protection from the Perón Government, he worked one factory after another
until his last job was at Mercedes of Argentina some three hours by bus
from his tiny house. MOHNKE is the other photo. Fuldner founded the
Fuldner Bank with offices in Cordoba and in the Federal Capital. According
to some birth certificate, Fuldner was born in
Buenos Aires but from young age was
taken to Germany by his parents.

During World War Two he was an SS officer with the rank of

Hauptsturmführer (Captain). When the war ended, he went to Spain then
returned to his birth country of Argentina. He believed that he would
possibly be on the list of wanted Germans for the Nürnberg Trials.

Under the first government of P erón, Fuldner’s mission was to return to

Europe and help out associates of Professor Tank. The last one to

be helped out of Europe was Kurt Tank himself. He was a genius of

German aviation and the Argentine
Government contracted Tank along with other

Industry. Fuldner
remained in Europe for about a year.

EDITOR NOTE – For those not yet up to

speed, Kurt Tank (photo right) was the
designer of the FW 190, one of the
hottest fighters of World War Two. In
Argentina, he designed many planes for
them. When I was there in 2014, I was in
Kurt Tank’s former office.

Fuldner returned to Buenos

Aires and in the 1950’s, did functions for the House of Government with
Perón.
Fuldner was a member of the Information Division of the House of
Government and he had‘confidential access’ of the General Director of
Immigration (DGM). It is well known that he had direct contacts with
international network members who promoted and helped the emigration
towards Argentina. They supported German and other European fugitives
from Central Europe.
In that sense from 1945 to 1949 the directors from DGM, Santiago Peralta
and Pablo Diana, authorized the arrival of many individuals without the
required documents to enter Argentina.

From 1947 to 1949 the ones with ‘confidential access’ from the DGM and
the arrivals participated with Fuldner in conference. He ‘coordinated’ the
list of arrivals in order to later show the lists to diplomatic functionaries. In
other words, he ‘cooked the books’. The inspectors lost track of Fuldner
while still living in Argentina. He had a false name and his whereabouts
were unknown.

The Association named the German school Primo Capparo in honor of a

fascist colonist in Bariloche. This formed the foundation to utilize
establishments to spread Nazism doctorine all over the world. By 1938
there were over 200 Saxon (German) colleges but only seven could be
official schools. Even Bariloche was not included. Bariloche hence was
influenced by Nazism– there were anti-Nazi colleges too. The main ones
were Pestalozi and Cangallo.

From 1935 problems began to arise in the education arena. For example;
books could be obtained from Berlin. According to the investigator Ronald
Newton, many schools could obtain teachers from Germany who had no
knowledge of the Argentine country or sympathy. These teachers were
contracted by the National Socialist German Education, and one condition
was that the teachers had to be in the league of National Socialist of
Teachers. Some were even in the Nazi Party.

The Argentine Commission of Anti-Argentine Activities denounced that

these teachers from Germany had sworn an oath to Adolf Hitler. Also, that
the German teachers brought the Heil Hitler salute. The teachers brought
‘Mein Kampf’ to the schools.
EDITOR NOTE – Let us put an end to this fantasy of a Heil Hitler Salute
or a Nazi Salute– it was the Roman Salute of 2,000 years ago! When men
met, the right hand was outstretched and raised to show that they had no
weapon. In English, the word “dexterous” means being able to do things
skillfully. The word “sinister” means to be sneaky and treacherous. In Latin,
‘a dexter’ means ‘right handed’ and ‘a sinester’ means ‘left handed’.

So we see that the Romans were 2,000 years ahead of time or Hitler merely
used the Roman Salute with his troops which he
called his Legions – like the Roman Legions. And the banners used when
marching that had NSDAP on them meaning National Socialist Deutsches
Arbeit Parteid was the same as the Roman banners that said SPQR
(Senatus, Populus Que Romanus or the Senate and the People of Rome).

I knew that my two and a half years of Latin would come in handy
someday…..

The Argentine Government had to dictate normal special school instruction

to avoid the Nazification of the German-Argentine. Yet in Bariloche, the
Argentine Government had no say-so to the Nazi indoctrination in their
school. The banner of Nazi flames is the banner for the school Primo
Cararo.

In 1939 the radical deputy Emilio Ravagnini announced that many schools
of the known territories pertain to especially German. These schools the
collective foreign activities,

showed pictures of foreigners, Government leaders and symbols. They did

not speak the native tongue, Castellano Spanish. He saw blue boards with
white only with the name ‘Argentina’ stamped on it with an attacking eagle,
a totally foreign symbol to patriotic Argentina. He reported the presence of
foreign colonists in unknown Argentine lands and only private access to
them– or not at all.
Above – Typical school photo of the times back then
Below– This photo was taken just a few years ago
It was also stated that on 25 May 1940 German boys renounced the
Argentine School Seal, even though they were educated in Argentine
educational establishments. This was a case of the son of a German
businessman from Trellew, the national territory of Chubut. This was
reported in “La Infiltration Nazi en la Patagonia” or the Nazi Infiltration in
Patagonia.

The whole world turned upside down when in 1995 former SS Captain
ERICH PRIEBKE, Sharkhunters Member #7598 was detained and taken
to Italy. In a photo taken in 1935 one can see the Third Reich Flag put in a
higher standard than the Argentina Flag. This is NOT a minor detail if one
considers the expansion ideas of Nazism from that moment in history. Also,
during World War Two, the Swastika Flag continued to fly in the school in
Bariloche. This demonstrates that Bariloche did not obey any respect to
laws passed by legislation to put down any foreign flags or symbols, given
by President Robert Ortiz in the 1930’s.

Primo Capraro School was confiscated when Argentina declared war on the
Axis towards the end of World War Two.

EDITOR NOTE – There was not much of the Axis left when Argentina
declared war. Italy had changed sides and was with the Allies in September
1943; Germany and Japan were all but defeated. Argentina declared war
only two weeks before the German surrender and then only under intense
pressure from the Allies, primarily the USA.

After the war when many Nazis came to Bariloche, Priebke and Fuldner
refunded Capraro College. They formed the German-Argentine Cultural
Association Club (Deutsches Club) and the school. With time Priebke
became President of the Association. Priebke was doing this function when
he was extradited to Italy in 1995. The wives of ex-officers of SS Ernst
Hanmann and Winfried Schroppe became the directors of the German
School Primo Capraro.

A former director, Karl Ugel, stated that he was fired because of his ‘leftist
fellow colleagues’ (communists). This expulsion of Ugel happened at the
end of 1988 to early 1989. Ugel said when he arrived to the
GermanArgentine Cultural Association in Bariloche Priebke received him
with;

“Wilkommen in der Wehrmacht” (Welcome in the military)

This he stated to the Italian Government in 1994. This is when Italy began
preparation for extradition of Priebke. He also indicated that Capri was a
front to refuge Nazis. Ugel also said that his own father was part of this
operation under Carlos Fuldner.

EDITOR NOTE– The reader will again note the overuse of the term ‘Nazi’
by this Agent.

The location for the Club Andino Bariloche was found 20 February 1930
and the Club was founded on Tuesday 13 August 1931 by Juan Neumeyer,
Renaldo Knapp, Emilio Frey and Otto Mehling (circled in the photo above).
Since 1941 many places were set as gatherings. In 1941, a building was set
in the center civic. Then after 13 August 1942 the gathering was set at the
estate donated by Mrs. Rosa Meier de Caprapo. The original CAB (Club
Andino Bariloche) reunited personalities of the German community living
in Bariloche. These members established strong relations with Chile and
Bolivia.
There were organized competitions among the three countries. In 1948, the
Association of Ski and Mountain Climbing in South America was
established. During WW II the Allies accused these three countries for
being neo-Nazi.

EDITOR NOTE – In the latter stages of the war, the USA even persuaded
Walt Disney to produce two propaganda cartoon

movies to show that North and South America countries must remain
friends & support the Allies.

This one premiered in Mexico City on 21 December 1944 and in the US on

3 February 1945. This was meant to show friendship and cooperation in the
Western Hemisphere.
Aurora Miranda, sister of Carmen Miranda, sang in the film as we see
Donald Duck reunite with his cigar chomping friend José Carioca, the
parrot from Brazil and new friend, the pistol packing chicken named

Panchito Pistoles from Mexico.

The development of skiing in Argentina was strongly supported by the

CAB. This commitment of the leaders was in connection to the support of
Adolf Hitler. Many who participated in the ‘white sport’ (deporte Blanco)
was participated by the German community and from the hierarchy of the
Army with Fascist orientation…..especially two military proGerman who
will be the President of Argentina – Juan Domingo Perón and Edelmiro
Farrel.
The majority who attended CAB parties were of German descent and that
was recorded during the 1930’s. Back then, the social events were at Hotel
Suizo, the property of Maria Röthlesberger. At the beginning of the 1930’s
the CAB funded their first buildings where a group of people could live at
the Hills of Otto (Otto Cero). This was a mountain named after a pioneer
Otto Gödecke.

Then CAB built another at Hill Lopez. It was inaugurated 16 September

1933. Afterwards in 1934, a mountain refuge was opened on Hill Dormilon
(Sleepy Mountain) on 28 February 1928.
El Tronador was opened, located on the border with Chile. Perón and Farrel
practiced ski at Cerro Otto and established close ties with the German
community in Bariloche. They met Otto Mehling and became friends.

In the 19 40’s it was German instructors who taught the Argentine military
how to ski. For example, Gustavo Kamgrer stated;
“In 1941 Hans Nobl, a German professor, offered him a contract
to work in Mendoza to train Argentine officers.”

One of these officers so trained was Juan Perón. (photo previous page)

In 1941 and 1942 the ski instruction was in Mendoza but in 1943 courses
could be given in Bariloche. The instructors were the same. In 1941 the
CAB created the Argentine Federation of Ski and mountaineer (FASA). In
July, General Farrell who was Minister of War, was named honorary
member of FASA. In the document of CAB, he was mentioned as the
primary member to begin the skiing program in Argentina. Farrell and
Perón formed part of the self-nominated group, the Official United Group
(GOU) with Nazi-Fascist orientations.

The GOU tried to maintain neutrality in Argentina during World War Two
but it hid the shadow of support for the regime of Adolf Hitler. In the Club
Andino, known for famous expeditions to inaccessible locations, did gather
important information of the mountain terrain. This information was vital
for the Nazis, who had plans for Patagonia. A lot of information on the
Andes was gathered and all satellite posts were marked. Now these same
posts are used mountain trekkers. It is well-known many Nazis used this
passage to traverse and escape from authorities. The expert guides were of
the same nationality who knew the mountain well.
It is suggested that the CAB named the mountain Otto and baptized with
Berghof ‘Case de la Alegria’ (the Happy House). This was the same name
given the refuge of Adolf Hitler in the Bavarian Alps.
Club Andino had members like Hans Ulrich Rudel, the most famous pilot of
the Third Reich. Adolf Hitler created a special award, the ‘Knights Cross
with Golden Oak Leaf, Crossed Swords and Diamonds’ and Rudel was the
only one of the Reich to receive one. He had a privileged closeness to Adolf
Hitler during the war.

Rudel came under the false name Emilio Mayer. He worked in the
aeronautical and mechanics of the state and in 1951 he took his name back.
When Perón lost power in

1955, Rudel left the country with other Nazis.

Rudel
and his beautiful daughter with Juan Perón. Note Rudel is shaking hands
with his left, thanks to another war wound.

This former Colonel (Oberst) of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) lived in
Villa Carlos Paz in Cordoba Province. He also rested and skied at
Bariloche, according to CAB archives. Rudel was also a business partner of
CAB.

EDITOR NOTE – I was in Villa Carlos Paz in 2017. One passes a Pulqui
fighter in a park coming into this little town but at the former home of
Rudel, there is a new house on the site. For whatever reason, the house of
Rudel was demolished and only the front gate exists.

Since the XX Century, the Argentine Army offered a welcome to the

Germans. Officials of high rank join the Imperial German Military while
national born Germans used their expertise to train the Argentine Army.
This brotherhood was kept through the passing of time. For example, on 17
August 1951 Rudel competed in the Argentine Ski Championships. Even
though he had lost his leg in the war and used a prosthetic leg, he could still
ski without difficulties.

In 1952 during a clandestine reunion in Berlin, Rudel was named the new
Führer by the nomination of the Imperial German Party. This signifies that
Rudel maintained his Nazi ideals all along, well after the end of World War
Two. Rudel presented himself as candidate for the extreme right ‘Deutsches
Reich Party’ in the legislative elections of September 1953 but the German
Government vetoed his nomination for confessing that he was a Nazi.

EDITOR NOTE – Because of this stance, Rudel’s body was not allowed to
be buried in Nürnberg. He lies in a quaint, quiet little church cemetery an
hour or so out of Nürnberg. During our Sharkhunters Patrols in Southern
Germany and Austria, we stop at his grave to lay flowers for the greatest
pilot ever.

The most famous pilot of Germany accompanied Hitler along with other
German pilots to Berlin in the Führerbunker all the way to the final days of
the conflict.

One version that contradicts the story that Hitler committed suicide with
Eva Braun is that Rudel participated in a secret operations flight to evacuate
Hitler once Berlin fell to the Russian Army.
On 15 May 1974 when Perón was old and in his third term as president,
Rudel met with Perón in Buenos Aires and he had contact with these
people– Ludwig Freude, banker and pro-Nazi; Otto Mehling, extreme
mountaineer, founder of CAB, German spy, member of the Hitler Youth in
Argentina; Hermann Clausser, expert Andes climber, founder of CAB,
worked for theIntel Service for the Nazis in 1940’s…..later in the 1990’s an
old lady from the coast of the province from Rio Negro (Black River)
named Giesla Bochide Päsani remembered that in 1945 Hermann Claussen
spent a lot of weeks living in her house located near the Atlantic.

EDITOR NOTE – Ludwig Freude was Director of the Banco

Transatlantico Alemaigne (German Transatlantic Bank) in Buenos Aires and
he was a direct conduit for the massive amounts of money coming from
various points to Argentina. Some of this money was organized by ‘die
Spinne’ (the Spider) and ‘Odessa’ for the use of the many German veterans
there while other parts of this fortune went to buy protection from Perón.
According to information sent to us by ALDO VILLAGROSSI,
Sharkhunters Member #7907, a ‘Black Boat’ brought in cargo including:
• RM 187,692,400 Marks;
• $17,576,500 US Dollars;
• 4,682,500 Pounds Sterling;
• 24,976,500 Swiss Francs;
• 8,379,000 Dutch Florines;
• 17,280,000 Belgian Francs;
• 54,963,000 French Francs;
• 87 kilograms (191 pounds) platinum;
• 2,511 kilograms (5,550 pounds) gold;
• 4,638 carats of diamonds.

All this was for the accounts of Juan Perón and his wife Maria Eva Duarte
Perón and all through Ludwig Freude and his bank.

The house was located on the beach at Golfo San Mathias close to the
Caleta de los Loros. This is where the top Nazis landed that arrived in
submarines. This lady states that Claussen assured her that he was a math
teacher. He was arrested on the grounds of being a spy but was later
released. Claussen then moved to Rio Turbo in Santa Cruz. The presence of
Claussen in the coast was a direct connection related to the clandestine
submarines that arrived on Argentine beaches. He appeared in that area
right after Berlin fell to the Russians. Claussen’s father was a medic in the
German Army.
Earlier in this book, we read about the Claeta de los Loros. That is the little
cove in the upper left-hand corner, the northwest section of Golfo San
Mathias.

There was also Roberto Mertig, former German sailor and pro-Nazi, owner
of the company Orbis.
EDITOR NOTE– Mertig was also a friend of Perón and he is
buried in the German cemetery in Buenos Aires.

Another was Hermann Wolf (most likely a false name), submarine captain
that arrived clandestine operations in Patagonia between July and August
1945. He was the owner of the restaurant ‘El Jabali’ and the Hotel Colonial.
In the restaurant ‘El Jabali‘ located in San Martin Izo is a place of reunions
of Nazis. according to local testimonies of neighboring areas.

Wolf talked about clandestine operations in Patagonia. He said that

submarines traveled the coast of Patagonia in the winter of 1945. This story
comes from a woman that claims Wolf was trying to impress her.

Wolf told her;

“The Argentines are descendants of ships.”
This was in relation to the many emigrants that came from Europe. Wolf
then said;
“No, not me. I did not come by ship. I came from a submarine.”

Another was Francisco Rubatshcer, a member of the Nationalist Socialist

German Worker’s Party (NSDAP). He found refuge in Argentina while he
was charged as a war criminal. Rubatscher was born 19 September 1908 in
Innsbrücke, Austria and in 1930 was a police member of his birth city. Then
in 1941 he functioned as an SS Leutnant (Untersturmführer); this according
to CEANA (Commission of Clarity of Nazi Activity in Argentina).
Rubatscher worked for the NSDAP and for that he was sentenced to ten
months in prison.

Rubatscher arrived clandestinely on 29 October 1947 to Argentina from a

boat out of Uruguay. He officially became a part of Argentina and he
presented to authorities, his Red Cross passport number #48.735 and a
Good Conduct Seal. The Argentine Government approved of his stay in that
same year; 9 March 1948.

Another was Carlos Niebuhr; cover for Nazi finance transfers in Argentina.
He was representative of the company Fiscal and Mandates of Argentina
(CADEFINA). He directed 18 anonymous societies of Germans and
syndicate of another five. He was also a director of the chemical company
Bayer and the company Schering. All these companies were created in
Argentina during World War Two according to the Department of State of
the USA that track Nazi finances that came from Germany to Argentina.

Some of these were: Sedalana, Super Castor, Productos Roche, Usram,

Maritime Stinnes, Chemical Merck, Casa Birk, Kassdorf, Springer
Laboratories, Chemical Biology and Springer Moller.

CADEFINA bought the estate in Buenos Aires where the laboratory Fadro
Farm was established. One of the employees there was Dr. Josef Mengele.
According to documents in the archives of Club Andino in Bariloche,
Niebuhr’s address in Buenos Aires was Reconquota 336. This is the
location of the firm CADEFINA.
Juan Maler was the false name of German Intelligence Agent Reinhard
Kops.

Max Christian Naumann was a Nazi judge of the Third Reich, born in
Switzerland. During World War Two he was incorporated as an official in
the SS Hitler legions. He came to Bariloche in 1948 and founded the Swiss
Club. He also founded the candy store‘Dulceria Suiza’ in a traditional
commercial area of Bariloche.
Heumel Island is the place where President Juan Domingo Perón decided to
build an atomic energy center (above). This facility was led by a scientist,
Ronal Richter. He arrived to Argentina with the group of scientists with
Kurt Tank. Richter was first contracted to work with Nazi technicians in the
Secretary of Aeronautics in the province of Cordova.

EDITOR NOTE – Kurt Tank was the German engineer who developed the
FW 190 fighter plane. He headed up a large number of German scientists
and aeronautical engineers who came to Argentina at the end of the war.

After some time, Richter was able to convince Perón to build the nuclear
site on Heumel Island. After millions had been deposited for this project, on
24 March 1951 President Perón announced to the world that Argentina had
obtained atomic energy through the ‘new science’.
EDITOR NOTE– Our Sharkhunters were on this island in 2008, 2009 and
2019. Go to www.sharkhunters.com then to PREVIOUS TOURS and 2008,
2009 and 2019 Argentina to see all the photos we shot there.

This news caused great amazement in the great world powers. Only the
United States and Russia dominated this technique of extracting atomic
energy. After some time, skepticism began to set in. The Secretary of the
Frammable Commission of the Atomic National Energy, Col. Enrique
Gonzalez, ordered an investigation.

In 1952, after one year of study of the results from the island, the Special
Commission of Argentina scientists made the conclusion that Richter’s
work was a ‘total failure’. The investigator was then discharged from his
post!

EDITOR NOTE – It has been put forth that this was to have been a secret
project but Juan Perón decided on his own, to make a big splash in the news
about the ‘cold fusion’ that Richter created. Martin Bormann was still in
control of the Reich in Argentina and it is reported that he was livid that
Perón would make this announcement. It is said that when the Commission
came to Heumel Island to make their tests, Richter had disconnected some
of his equipment under orders from Bormann to make sure the tests would
fail. The facility was abandoned soon after.
The only positive result from this affair was that Perón created the
Commission of Atomic National Energy and the Atomic Center of
Bariloche. This facility is still operational at 17 KM., Erequiel Bustillo
Avenue

Other versions indicate that the Heumel Island projects were made to
construct submarine engines and cluster bombs, a design from the Third
Reich. These plans and projects were brought to Argentina by Nazi
scientists. Unfortunately, like in other cases in Argentina, the military
decided to ‘practice shooting’ at the Heumel Island and they destroyed
important installations that were built by Richter.
EDITOR NOTE – ‘Practice shooting’? Is that really what happened;
simply blasting abandoned buildings simply for target practices? Nobody
believes that…….

The enigmatic Nazi Juan Maler had many properties in Bariloche and lived
in a chalet at Tucman 455 Road. He was also the owner of the Bell Hotel
located at Belgrand 165. Juan Maler was his false name. His real name was
Reinhard Kopps and was an Intelligence Agent for Germany in WW II. He
also used the false name of Hans Raschenbach.

Kopps was born in Hamburg on 29 September 1914. He worked in France,

Bulgaria and after the fall of France he arrived to Rome after he escaped
from an English detention center. During that time, his function was
working for the secretary of German refugees in the Vatican. From

there he helped war criminals escape specifically to South America. Kopps

then escaped Europe and arrived to Buenos Aires in 1949.
agency investigating Nazis. According to CAENA, Maler-Kopps during the
war was a member of counterintelligence and supporter of the pro-Nazi
Bishop Hudal in Rome. He was a fervently extra right administrator in
South America and took part in the international neo-Nazi movement.
This was investigated
effectively by the
Simon
Center,
Wiesenthal
a special

in locating refugee
In the month of January 1993, an Israeli agent
Yaron Svoray, infiltrated a neo-Nazi reunion in Frankfurt, Germany. There
he met Roy Godenau, an American Nazi. He wrote and directed an editorial
on the Nazi movement. The investigation of Yaron and the Wiesenthal
Center assures that Godenau inform Yaron about the existence of Maler-
Kopps in Argentina.

Godenau stated that Maler-Kopps was the author of many books that attack
“Zionism and Masonry” and that the German lived in Bariloche. Godenau
even said;”

“Kopps collects the funds from all over the world, then dispenses the funds
and distributes them into their bank.”

On 2 April 1994, Rick Eaton, an agent from the Wiesenthal Center, arrived
to Bariloche pretending to be a neo-Nazi millionaire. The first encounter
between Eaton and Kopps took place in the Hotel Edelweiß, located on San
Martin Avenue, a few blocks from the Civic Center.
Then, while walking around the city, Maler told Eaton; “Everything was
built by Germans; everything.”

EDITOR NOTE – At dinner a few years ago with the son of

Hauptsturmführer ERICH PRIEBKE, Sharkhunters Member #7598, we
were told the same.

The false millionaire, Eaton, explained to Maler, his intention to donate

money through Godenau but Maler-Kopps suggested to use another person
instead, in Luxemburg.

Maler-Kopps assured Eaton this was much safer, and large amounts of
money could be deposited, saying;
“These funds could be then distributed to various neo-Nazi
groups in Germany.”

The old German Kopps fell in the trap. Kopps gave Eaton a whole list of
individuals of the neo-Nazi movement and even the bank accounts. Eaton
also taped Kopps conversation of the ex-German agent without suspecting
anything.

The author of this piece revealed the presence of Maler-Kopps in Argentina

in a note published on 23 April 1993 in the financial AMBITO Diary. Later,
Sam Donaldson, a reporter for ABC, travelled to Bariloche and he
interviewed Maler-Kopps. Kopps told Donaldson he was not associated
with neo-Nazis. Then Donaldson played the tape back with the recording of
Eaton-Kopps who turned pale when he heard his voice. Kopps tried to
blame others and said to Donaldson;

“I’m a small fish in an organization. Why don’t you go find the chief, why
you do not look for Priebke?”
EDITOR NOTE– Sam Donaldson’s career ended shortly after his “outing”
of Erich Priebke when apparently caught with his hand in the cookie jar so
to
speak, receiving huge amounts
of money under questionable
circumstances, caught by
among others Senator AL
D’AMATO, Sharkhunters
Member #4908 who demanded
of Donaldson“Give the money
back” and although the demand
was made many times, we see
no indication
was returned
that the money

to the Federal
Government.
This caused great news and ended in the extradition of PRIEBKE to Rome
where he ultimately ended in house arrest for life. In Europe he did
Intelligence functions for the Nazis, but he was not wanted for crimes
against humanity. Yet the Wiesenthal Center charged him publicly for the
deportation of Jews in Albania during WW II.

Kopps returned to Argentina on 4 September 1948 on the steamer SANTA

CRUZ. The Passing Board # was No. 180086-48 from the migration
directive which control the entering ‘seals’. Kopps declared he had ‘No
Nationality’ and he worked as an accountant in Bariloche and was the
owner of the Hotel Campana (BELL). This was located in the Belgian
community, although it was knownas ‘the German Ghetto’. He was also a
member and on staff of the magazine ‘die Weg’ (the Road) during the
1950’s which was edited in Buenos Aires and distributed to other countries.

Kopps wrote many books. In the library ‘Sarmiento’ located in the Civic
Center in Bariloche, the writings can be traced when they were written.

His book ‘ Denounce the Dark Occults from the Jews, Masonry and
Marxism’ is there. Maler/Kops was in an intellectual group destined to
spread the ideas of International Neo-Nazism.

In Bariloche under the direction of Maler/Kopps, a press established to print

clandestine books with the same ideology, then it was distributed in
Argentina, Chile and other nations. On the 31st of May 1976, Interpol
looked for his whereabouts. On the 8th of May 1993 after the scandalous
case of Priebke, the old German spontaneously presented himself to the
police in order to establish his conscious that he was a good person and that
he had always been a friend to the Jews.

Maler/Kopps administered the Hotel Campana. This is where top Nazis met
in Bariloche. The name of the establishment is suggestive. At the end of the
war, the Nazis evacuated from Europe an experiment that moved ‘live
beings’ who used a device named ‘la Campana’…..the Bell!

EDITOR NOTE– Campana in Spanish means Bell in English or in

German…..die Glocke.

Scientists, laboratories and the machine had travelled by air to South

America. According to newly declassified files, the arrival of these
scientific materials and the experts, an airdrome was built in Gualeguay,
Uruguay. Then the machine was transferred to Bariloche. The design
created by Nazi scientists created a light ray which these properties were
being studied when Berlin fell in 1945

EDITOR NOTE – In a clandestine meeting in a dark corner of the

restaurant ‘Il Casale’ outside Munich some years ago, top SEIG Agent
PIZZARRO told me exactly this – that the Bell, or ‘die Glocke’ was flown
out and landed on a 15 kilometer long stretch of highway in Uruguay.
PIZZARRO gave me a hand drawn map of the area including a small
wooded area at one end of this highway where Germans erected a small
RDF (Radio Direction Finding) site so the plane could vector in on this
straight road and land. PIZZARRO told me that the plane was immediately
destroyed and all pieces hidden.

However, we have recently been informed by S.E.I.G. Agent PETER

PARKER (an active agent of“die Spinne”) that this huge JU 390-V2 was
not destroyed at all but rather, continued flying in South America until
1966. Furthermore, he reported that this big plane is in a secure hangar in
northern Paraguay. I asked for the location, because I have no problem
going past a sign that says “No Pasar” or in Germany “Eingang Verboten”
and have fast talked my way out of trouble with the local police. He said
that the plane, and everything else on this estancia, was guarded by private
security people who had orders to shoot to kill intruders.

I have no problem fast talking my way out of a problem with the police–
but one cannot fast talk one’s way out of a bullet. So for now, we have not
looked for that elusive JU 390-V2…..but we are quite confident that it is
still in that hanger.

Robert Mertig owned the company Orbis (which I visited in 2014) and his
house in Bariloche is a vast property. It is surrounded by Olympic fence,
video cameras and other security devices. The estate can be reached, where
an actual factory is functional, by a road that accesses Cerro Otto (Otto
Mountain). This area is owned by the Anonymous Society (SIBRO). This
name is the same inverted as ORBIS! This is a famous company formed by
Mertig.

This German individual was sent to Argentina to be representative for the

German industry. He then built his own company. His family was rich and
Mertig inthe 1940’s was known in Argentina as ‘King of Saxony’. Mertig’s
great business was able to help other Germans. After WW II was over, he
former a network to send food to Germany, which was destroyed by the
war. He supported Nazis that arrived to Argentina– for example, Adolf
Eichmann. Eichmann worked for about a year and a half in the Orbis
Company. During that time, he was supporting 350 workers, all Germans.
Mertig made his company become the main one in that industry. (Orbis
began making fixtures for toilets; they now manufacture items for water
heating, cooking, heating, solar energy and more).

The properties of SIBRO in Bariloche are located at the outskirts of Cerro

Otto near to the residence of Freude. On that mountain lived the spy Otto
Mehling.

EDITOR NOTE – Freude was Director of Banco Trans Atlantico Alleman

(German Transatlantic Bank) and he was critical in funneling funds to
thousands of Germans who came to Argentina to start a new life. General
OTTO KUMM, Sharkhunters Member #4008 was instrumental in helping
from the German end and Otto Skorzeny served more or less as go-
between.

Otto Mehling came to Bariloche before the war and established a ring of
observation points around Lake Nahuel Huapi. We visited the simple home
that he built by his own hands on a mountain with a magnificent overlook at
the lake and Heumul Island where the German nuclear research laboratory
was built in 1947– two years AFTER the war ended. You can see many
photos of all this at www.sharkhunters.com then select PREVIOUS TOURS
from the dropdown menu.

Several times, we have visited the home of Otto Mehling, built with his
own hands high up the mountain. He have also visited the ruins of this
nuclear research laboratory on the offshore island Heumul. Our
Sharkhunters“Gaucho Patrols” bring anyone interested, to these places.

Walking in the Footsteps of History – the Nuclear Lab Compound

Mehling was instrumental in the founding of the Club Andino in Bariloche,

said to be a headquarters for German spies and former SS men.

Dr. Mariano Barilari was an enigmatic German medic. His specialty was
hypnosis, and he was a friend of psychologist Sigmund Freud. Mariano was
dedicated to paint pictures. According to his neighbor in Bariloche, Mario
Calo, many top Nazis were reunited at Mariano’s after the Nazis escaped
from Europe. For example, Josef Mengele, Adolf Eichmann and his wife
Vera Lieb and others that escaped Europe.

Dr. Barilari’s house was at the corner with a typical Alpine look. It looked
like the Berghof, Hitler’s original home in the Alps. Barilari was in the
same block as former SS Hauptsturmführer (Captain) Erich Priebke and
other Nazis.
EDITOR NOTE – Keep in mind the overuse ofthe term ‘Nazi’ by this
Agent, all too often the evidence of the effect of propaganda pushing out
common sense.

The house was located in front of ‘Hotel Campana’ (Bell Hotel), the
property of the spy Maler/Kopps. Barilari was a friend of Josef Mengele
and he let him stay in his house as a guest in Bariloche. Barilari would give
parties at his estate and many in town could witness the many guests
including Friederich Lantschner.

Lantschner was the former Governor (Gauleiter) of Nazi Tyrol and he had
entered Argentina by using the false name of Materna. Lantschner was
owner of a construction company in Bariloche. An old lady in Bariloche
said that in the house of Doctor Barilaria Nazis, reunited in those meetings
and ‘they closed the screens so no one can see them and give them looks’.

The Army Mountain Troop School was built in Bariloche under Perón in
1938. The man in charge of this task was War Minister General of Division
Basilio Pertine. At that time, when the world prepared for World War Two,
the Argentine Government decided to establish a mountain unit in part of
Patagonia. The reason was an effective installation of communications like
Pioneer Pontoon Engineers part of the 6th Army Division. The Army posts
already guarded the strategic city of Commodore Rivadavia next to the
Atlantic. Other Argentina Army posts were built in Esquel and Junin of the
Andes.

This investigation was conducted by the Italian Patrick Burnside. These

posts and bases were built to guard and protect the businesses and the Nazis
who arrived to Patagonia after World War Two. The military presence also
provided custody of all installations built by Perón on Heumul Island in
order to protect the construction of atomic energy directed by the Ronald
Richter, the Nazi professor.
In the 1990’s, during the government of President Carlos Menem (left), the
military mountain school in Bariloche was renamed Juan Domingo Perón, a
paradox because Perón helped many Nazis to live in Bariloche. There are
images of Perón there.

At the initial start of World War Two, Perón was on a mission of studies in
Benito Mussolini’s Italy. He was a Lieutenant Colonel and he was there
July 1939 to May 1940. He

Alpine units and used the techniques of skiing that he learned in Bariloche.

EDITOR NOTE – Perón learned ski techniques before this in Mendoza

province of Argentina from German instructors.

Here we see Perón as a ski student in the school in Mendoza.

A historic place indeed, but on the next page is a photo of all that remains of
that school. Another piece of history shoved to the side of the road to be
forgotten. studied the different Italian
Then he joined the Argentina military staff in Rome. According to his
biographer Joseph Page with the Italian couple at Plaza Venelia, he heard
Mussolini enter WW II on 3 June 1940.

Perón was impressed with Fascist doctrine and Hitler’s regime. Perón loved
the south of Argentina – he practically grew up there because his father was
administer of land estates in Patagonia. He stayed there until he joined the
Argentina military in Buenos Aires. Later, he learned to ski at Cerro Otto
with Club Andino.

Another pro-Nazi man learned to ski there; Edelmiro Farrel. His instructor
was Otto Mehling according to his biographer and friend Vojko Arko.
Perón visited Bariloche many times; he even contracted German instructors
to train the Argentine military. One trainer was a Saxon, Gistavo Kammerer
who became a close friend with the Argentine party ‘the Justilists’.
During the Second World War, Perón led the United Officials Group (GOU)
Grupo de Oficiales Unidos. This group in Argentina favored relations with
Germany, Italy and Japan. He continued this just before being elected
President of Argentina in 1946.

The US publically accused that Argentina was helping Nazis. The North
American government states these accusations in the ‘Blue Book’ published
by the State Department. These are the main factors of accusations towards
Perón:

1. Conspiracy with enemy nations of the United States to secretly form the
governments of Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay to favorably
form a bloc favorable to the Axis and destroy the North American system;
2. Argentine Government members worked with enemy agents in the Nazi
spy network, provoking the good effort of the Allies fighting against the
Axis;
3. Agents, groups and Nazi organizations created a Nazi Fascist republic in
Argentina;
4. Refuge German agents and sponsoring economic support with the
objective of industrial potential and commercial power of the Axis in
Argentina;
5. Conspiracy with the Nazis to obtain armaments from Germany.

Perón was classified by the U.S. Government as the‘principal Director of

the Argentine officials working with the enemy’.

La Pension Pinkl (the Pink Pension) was home of Josef Schwammberger

(photo left) located at Tiscornia at the corner of 20th Febrero. The place was
burned. Josef Schwammberger lived in a retirement estate at Tisconia
Avenue on the corner of 20th February Street. It was burned down.
Schwammberger was commander of the Polish ghetto of Przemysl. He hid
in Bariloche in the 1950’s according to the

testimony of Alberto Rehne, an ex-German soldier who went to live in

Argentina after the end of the war.

After thirty years he was detained in Buenos Aires and was extradited in the
1980’s. He lived with his family in the Pension Pinkl and Rehne said this
was also where he lived. He was a rich person; always dressed in suit and
tie. Rehne said;

“I think he sent his wife to work at Hotel Los Pinos to keep her active and
not bored.”
Rehne mentioned that he used a fake name of
Schwammell. Rehne also mentioned that
Schwammberger (photo right) was about 38
years old, a little fat, short with a round face,
short hair and very quiet. The family lived
there for about a year with a pension since
they all lived quite well. They had two boys
who were redheaded like their mother. They

were six and eight years old and very loud.

Schwammberger was born 14 February 1912 and during the war he was an
SS Commander and administrator of the Przmsyl Ghetto in Poland. He
arrived to Buenos Aires from Marseilles on 19 March 1949 aboard the
steamer CAMPANA BELL. He was wanted in Europe because he was
accused of killing 15,000 Jews in Poland.

He had the seal #4.046.964 from the Federal Police of Argentina. On 22

July 1955 he solicited a certificate of good conduct to travel to Chile. He
declared himself a businessman and that he lived in Estancia La Fe (the
Faith Estate) in Argentina near San Cipriano.

In 1966 Simon Wiesenthal announced that he was living in Argentina yet in

1987 during the government of Raul Alfonsin, he was detained for possible
extradition. He lived in La Plata, Cordoba and Bariloche. In 1971 the
German Government requested to the Argentine Government to arrest him.
Two years passed and it was authorized. However, he was alerted of this
impending arrest and escaped to Canada. After time passed, he returned to
Argentina and at the time he was 77 years of age. He was detained and
remained at the estate of the Cordoba community in Huerta Grande (Big
Orchard) in 1991. He was extradited and judged at Stuttgart and condemned
to life in prison for killing seven Jews and witness to homicide of thirty-two
more.
NOTE– Alberto Rehne was a German soldier of Anti-tank Nr. 16 Adolf
Hitler Division, fought in Stalingrad and Poland. After the war he was
arrested and detained in Münich. After his release, he travelled to Bariloche
and finally settled there as his home.

About 25 kilometers from Bariloche on the spot of Colonia Suisse (Swiss

Colony) one can access the road by car and from the bottom of the
mountain area towards the high altitude of Cerro Lopez (Lopez Mountain)
at the top is the refuge of the Club Andino.

EDITOR NOTE – When we were there in 2008, we drove to Colonia

Suisse. Just getting there was an adventure! This is the bridge we crossed to
get into the village and we are looking down, straight down a few hundred
feet. It’s an adventure!
Something enigmatic happened in this zone in the 1960 ’s. This was the
time of a successful operation carried out by the Israeli Secret Service to
capture Adolf Eichmann. The following is from Simon Wiesenthal:

“ In Bariloche, a mysterious accident happened. I cannot give out my

sources, but the information is authentic. In Bariloche, among the tourists,
there was Miss Nora Eldoc from Israel. She was visiting her mother who
was with her in Auschwitz. In Auschwitz she was sterilized by Dr. Mengele.
Only by chance she stopped at Bariloche for a few days and precisely at this
time Mengele was also there. She was 48 years old, was attractive and with
many friends in town. During one night at a dance in a hotel in town, she
bumped into face to face with Mengele. The police report does not mention
if Mengele recognized the woman. In speculation, Mengele had treated
many women in Auschwitz yet he recognized the tattoo on her arm; on her
left arm.

Witnesses say Mengele did not say a word. Miss Nora Eldoc just turned her
back on him and left the club. A few days later she did not return from a
mountain trip. The police were notified and after a few weeks, her body was
found at the bottom of a deep ravine. The police noted as an accidental
death.”

Wiesenthal explains that documents of the Intel service of the State

indicatethat in Mengele’s past a mistress named Nurit Eddat was an Israeli
agent and ex-prisoner of a concentration camp. She died in an accident or
was killed. Vojko Arko, a Slav, helped in the recovery of the body. He said
Eldoc was on Mengele’s footsteps. Mengele at that time lived in Bariloche
under a false name.

The biographer of Otto Mehling remembers she disappeared on 12

February 1960 on Cerro Lopez. The Club Andino rescue group found her
body three days later. The report–

“The b ody was found at the deep end of Cerro Lopez. There were clear
indications the terrain crumbled and that she fell down. She was with a
group of Jews mountain climbing, but she decided to climb down by
herself. She was lost on 12 Feb 1960”
The body was recovered and that was the end. Then a big announcement
came from Buenos Aires. She was not an Israeli agent although she did
have a diplomatic passport. Arko also mentions a mysterious German
looking at the body recovered but nobody knew him. He left Bariloche
soon. Arko believes he was an Israeli-German agent. He said;

“He wan ted to make sure if she was dead because a dead agent is no longer
useful. We thought that (Eldoc) was a Mossad agent. It is so obvious she
was looking for Mengele because many said that Mengele lived in
Bariloche with a false name.” In the book of the deceased in the archives of
the Civil Register of Bariloche one can find the death of ‘Noria Eldot’ it
shows that the death occurred 12 March 1960. The result was trauma of
many injuries. This is according to the certification of Doctor José Maria
Iglesia. The register states that she was Jewish and from Israel, 47 years old,
single and she was working and lived in Buenos Aires.

From the ‘Institute of Investigations and Special Missions of Israel’ we

read:
La Municipalidad: the case of Josef Mengele;
Location: Civic Center
In the local municipality and the justice of the peace and other
dependencies– the Nazis arrived to the south of Argentina with different
missions. In the 1940’s in Bariloche some foreigners; some with documents
or with false names, dealt directly with the justice of the peace. They would
receive a provisional standing in order to later fit the requirement to stay.
Therefore, authorities did not know what the immigrants had done before.
These immigrants bought little parts of land. Then a fire happened in the
1960’s which burned all documents of the municipal center. This is how
many names were lost who had entered with permits, commercial sites and
other documents.

For example, in the case of the unknown Josef Mengele, known as the
‘Angel of Death’, Mengele escaped Europe and found refuge in Argentina.
He utilized a Red Cross passport under the name of Helmuth Gregor.
According to testimonies of many neighbors, Mengele was a specialist in
‘Racial Purity’. He lived in Bariloche and was able to practice medical
activities just like in Buenos Aires. Mengele was involved in the murder of
agent Nora Eldoc whose body was found at Cerro Lopez.

Francisco C alo said that Mengele had a driver’s license in the community
of Bariloche in the years 1948-1949. Calo said;
“He used a false name – I believe Juan but I am not sure. I am
positive it was him.”

There was always rumor but it was known much later after Mengele left
Bariloche. He stayed about four or five years. In order to get a license, he
used a certification from a Justice of the Peace with the false name. He went
on;

“I am a mule, it looked like a diplomafor foreigners.”

Calo said that Mengele (photo right) was accompanied with a blond girl
who was tall and thin. He used the address of a house in Belgrano also
known as the German neighborhood. In the
Bariloche cemetery there are many German
graves. Many Germans (the agent uses the term
‘war criminals”) lived a quiet life in Bariloche
under a false name. When they died they were
buried in the local cemetery.

This could have been Priebke ’s d estiny if he had

not been extradited to Italy. The Italian
magazine “TEMPO” assured that in 1960 there
was a tomb with the name ‘M. Bormann’ in
Bariloche. According to the information given
when the place was identified by a newspaper,
the German embassy began to investigate – then
the headstone disappeared.

Another newspaper version has Martin Bormann, the Deputy Führer of the
Third Reich, died in 1962 in the Bariloche hospital. The official story is that
Bormann died in Berlin trying to escape in 1945 on 1 May 1945 yet many
believed that he escaped. There were seventy sightings of Bormann during
his 29 years after his ‘official’ death – almost 20 sightings in Argentina. It is
obvious that his Berlin death report was false.

After testing human remains later found in Berlin, the German Government
closed the case, confirming that he died in 1945. Then a DNA test was done
and it confirmed that it was Martin Bormann but no study was done to
determine how old the remains were! Some say he died in South America
inthe 1970’s and that his remains were taken back to Berlin and then buried
there.

EDITOR NOTE – It seemed very strange that, of all the tens of thousands
bodies under the ground in Berlin, that they would think to test this one
particular body to see if it was Bormann. It is also reported that there were
traces of a specific red clay in the skull that was native to an area known as
TBA – Tri Border Area where Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil come
together.
Artist’s concept of Bormann’s life in South America

In 1999 the remains were cremated and the ashes thrown into the ocean yet
there are many who believe that he lived even longer. There are theories
that he lived even longer in Argentina. It may not have been Bormann
buried in Bariloche but many other war criminals of old age were buried
there. They lived out their lives with false names. Los Pasos Cordilleros:
Una Puerta de Salidas y Entrada Clandestina

“The Coastal Passes: an Exit Door and Clandestine Entrance”

The International Passes – due to the lack of security control of the passes
from the coastline to the Andes, many areas were ideal for clandestine Nazi
operations. The travelling through the valleys and traversing through the
mountains gave the Germans easy access to enter and exit Argentina.

For example, the Nazis that were in Argentina in the 1940’s could later
move to Chile. They used the Puelo Pass in the Andes. This is the area used
by members of the (panzerschiff) GRAF SPEE. This was known as ‘Via
International’. The captain of GRAF SPEE, Kapitän zur See Hans
Langsdorf was forced to scuttle his ship in the Rio de la Platte.
He could not break free from a British blockade. The crew of GRAF SPEE
was 1,055 German Navy men. They were kept in Argentina but slowly they
managed to escape in order to continue the fight. it is recorded that at least
four officers used the Puelo Pass, located 130 kilometers from Bariloche.
They were helped by local townspeople with German ancestry.

One of the escapes was organized by Leutnant Hans Dietrich and Dietrich
Bludau who arrived Bariloche with important documents and were
accompanied by an agent of the Abwehr – destination was Chile and
Europe.
Another official report has Bariloche tracing four other officers but they
also escaped. By August 1940 it was established that four officers from
the GRAF SPEE crew had escaped. The escapees were able to fool the
vigilante police in order to arrive in Chile using the Puelo Pass. This was
accomplished by the support of the German Embassy in Argentina then
through Chile to return to the fight for Germany once again.

EDITOR NOTE – All the officers of GRAF SPEE, except Langsdorf,

escaped. Most returned to Germany to return to the war while others
remained in South America in the Intelligence effort there in one way or
another.

Seen shortly after landing in Montevideo, Uruguay Langsdorf’s hand is

over a wound he received in the Battle of the River de la Plate.

Hundreds of sailors from GRAF SPEE had to stay in different zones in

Argentina. International law did not permit the crew to return to their own
country while World War Two was in effect. Other Germans stayed in
Argentina to join the spy network and one of their tasks was to prepare
arrivals of German U-Boats to Patagonia in 1945. The plan was set after the
fall of Berlin.

In 1950, two German navy men from GRAF SPEE (Walter Dietelmann and
Mariano Alfredo Schulz) remember the participation of submarines
disembarking at Patagonia. Many crewmen from GRAF SPEE decided to
live in Bariloche, Buenos Aires, Cordoba Province and other Argentine
localities.
Other pass ways of the region like Perez Rosales and the Puyehue (actual
name Cardinal Samore) were utilized by the those who wanted to escape.

In the 1960’ s Israeli agents arrived to the Chilean city of Valdiva and their
mission was the capture Eduardo Roschmann, the so-called ‘Butcher of
Riga’ known to be living in the Andes. He was alerted to the arrival of the
Israeli agents and he escaped into Argentina using a mountain pass into
Argentina. This pass is known as the International Hua-Hum which starts in
Chile then passesthrough Argentina’s San Martin of the Andes.
EDITOR NOTE – They eventually caught up with him in his new home in
Montevideo, Uruguay and killed him there. They stuffed his body in a trunk
where it lay for three weeks before being discovered. I visited the house
where this murder took place during our expedition in February 2016.

This last case as well as others demonstrates the vast extensions of the roads
and mountain passes

accessible from one place to another. One could travel incognito and from
any direction on the east of Bariloche, the Patagonian desert where any
sight that could be watched and located easily was avoided. The west of this
extensive chain of mountains was an ideal place to hide and escape to the
Pacific. On the north was Lake Nahuel Huapi and to the south was a great
mountain that took the location of El Bolson and Esquel. All these areas
were controlled by Germans.
Torre Sarracena the Saracen Tower
This was one of the lookou t spots one had to pass if going to Hitler’s estate
on Lake Nahuel Huapi. The story of the Saracen Tower is important to the
story of Hitler’s life at his estate Inalco. The estate was only accessible by
water until recently and if anyone comes from one direction, they must pass
the Saracen Tower. If they come from the other direction, they must pass
the bunker. All these photos are on our website www.sharkhunters.com then
select TOURS. From there select 2008 and also 2009 Argentina. We pick up
the story with this tower.

___________________________

The Saracen Tower is located on the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi on the
peninsula of San Pedro in the Exequel Bustillo Avenue. In 1943 the
architect Alejandro Bustillo built a tower in the style of the Saracen’s at a
very inaccessible site of the San Pedro Peninsula 5 kilometers from the
Llao-Llao zone and about 7 kilometers from the mysterious estate of Villa
Tacul. The tower was well constructed of stone and it reminds one of
medieval times.
This structure was built as an observation point, part of a system of
observations points that cover the south of Argentina. This site was ideal for
checking land movements of individuals, observation of airplanes and any
individuals that could cause any problems in the zone. The refugees of CAB
(Club Andino Bariloche) also served to complete this function.

EDITOR NOTE – CAB was organized for

the German refugees and especially
security agents. One of those in the early
days was Otto Mehling, an outstanding
skier who literally carried the materials for
his house up the mountain on his back.
He built his home with a great view over
the lake so he could see anything that
moved. We’ve learned that Mehling
organized a ring of outposts all around
Lake Nahuel Huapi and that there was
armed German security on the land and
on the water for years after the end of
World War Two.
Otto Mehling on the
Mountain
Historically this tower, located at that high point, was known as ‘La Table’
(the table). The popular name was ‘Estudio de Bustillo’ (the studio of
Bustillo). This was because the architect was the owner of the property and
had many acres of land in San Pedro. Yet this professional, who did a lot of
work for Argentina, lived in Buenos Aires. He hardly spent time at the
castle.

During the 1940’s architect Bustillo was a member of the Argentine

aristocracy. He built many public buildings in Argentina. In

order to appreciate Castle Sarracena one must see it by air and look at the
difficult terrain to the castle. This strategic point, the tower, can visually
look at Lake Nahuel Huapi which was ideal for a guard; just like a refugee
like Mehling.

Mehling ’s House High Above Lake Nahuel Huapi.

Sharkhunters have been here often.

Some investigators associate the tower as Nazi activity all along the region.
Only from that point, Lake Nahuel Huai and surroundings of 100
kilometers gives it a central position, even to the roads leading to Inalco
which is at the extremes of the chain of mountains towards Bariloche. To
the other side is Patagonia.

In case of an ‘Alarm’ from that to wer, from a military type radio received,
Inalco (Hitler’s estate) had several hours head start. This was an
independent control prior to access to Bariloche in San Ramon in the years
1945-1955. The tower has three floors, a ‘caldera’ chimney, bathrooms and
space available for ten people.

Architect Bustillo had many acres in the strategic area of San Pedro where
the tower is located. In the decades of the 1940’s Bustillo gave 25 acres to
Argentina’s military. The Argentine forces then helped rebuild these
installations. The military area of Argentina later took these installations
and got them transferred to Argentina’s military force.

INALCO– the Hideaway of Hitler

EDITOR NOTE – We took this photo when we were there in 2008. Go to

our website www.sharkhunters.com under TOURS click on PREVIOUS
TOURS and you will find a great many photos of this area under our many
Argentina ‘Patrols’.

Inalco is located on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi near the village Villa
la Angostura (the narrow village) about 70 kilometers north of Bariloche.
This is where Hitler lived and this sustains the belief that the Führer did not
commit suicide in Berlin but he escaped to Argentina. The estate Inalco is
built in the traditional Alpine style and the estate can be reached by the
National Road #231 out of Bariloche. This is a private estate and one must
request permission to enter.

EDITOR NOTE – Rather than drive, we came by boat and unlike the
jokers on that foolish ‘Hunting Hitler’ TV series, we merely beached our
boats and walked to the estate. It has not been lived in since Adolf Hitler
moved out decades ago, in 1955. Many photos on the website
www.sharkhunters.com.
In the old days, in the 1940’s, the time when Hitler lived at Inalco,
travelling by land was very difficult. The road was just a dirt mountain
passage and there were no bridges to cross over the rapidly running rivers
all along that area. The only way to get there was on the lake by boat or
seaplane. At Inalco was a place where President Perón stayed and there was
a hangar for that type of airplane on the estate.

EDITOR NOTE – This was the boathouse with a large parking area where
a seaplane could be tied down. Look closely between the trees on the right
side of this photo and you can see the manor house.

Traveling to Inalco was this difficult for sixty years since the administrators
did not want to improve the road. Now there is a bridge to cross the river
and better routes established. Once arriving to the main road from
Argentina, one arrives to the border pass the International Cardinal Samore
which connects Bariloche and Osorno and Puerto Montt.

The estate Inalco was designed by Alejandro Bustillo who also designed the
Saracen Tower, the cathedral in Bariloche and the very expensive resort
Llao-Llao, and all in the Bavarian style of Alpine architecture.

VERY IMPORTANT EDITOR NOTE – This resort was built in 1938

with German money and rebuilt in 1939 after a fire. President Eisenhower
was here in 1960 (there is a photo in our book ‘Hitler in Argentina’ of him
here; Jimmy Carter was here during his administration; Bill and Hillary
Clinton were here during his administration and Barack Obama was here in
early 2016. True, this is a beautiful place but being so far from anything,
one might wonder why so many sitting American presidents had to come
here during their presidency.

Inalco was built on Lot #8 in the Nahuel Huapi Colony which extended all
around the lake. During that time Bariloche was very isolated and Inalco
was very different from other areas as it had many houses, a plaza, a great
stable, a fountain made of stone and more such as the boat house and
hangar for seaplanes etc. It had to look like a European village at that time.
With Lake Nahuel Huapi in front and the magnificent Andes behind, it did
indeed look like a Bavarian area.

EDITOR NOTE – It was so much like Bavaria that we have seen photos of
the great pilot Hans-Ulrich Rudel and Otto Skorzeny skiing in the Andes
near here. There are photos of many of the outbuildings on our website.
The farm that supplied Inalco and the personnel

Above– dog kennel, veterinary and horse barn. Below– pig facility
The original property had the names Prino Capparo and Federico Baratta.
Then the lands were bought by Enrique Garcia Merou, an attorney very
close to Juan Perón. Merou was never in Inalco but invested and directed
the work at a cost of $4 million dollarsin today’s money. Inalco was a Perón
business area managed by José Antonio but the estate was managed by a
German with the last name Simon who owned properties in Villa la
Angostura and Traful and an agency in the German college in Villa
Ballester and had activities in education in Primo Caparo de Bariloche.

EL BUNKER (The Bunker)

Yep, that’s me, HARRY COOPER, Member #1-LIFE atop the ruins of the
bunker looking like the hood ornament on an old Buick and pointing in the
direction of Inalco. This was the lookout for craft coming from the other
direction.

We have pointed out that the story of the mysterious bunker is also
important to the story of Hitler’s life at his estate Inalco. The estate is only
accessible by water and if anyone comes from one direction, they must pass
the Saracen Tower. If they come from the other direction, they must pass
the bunker. All these photos are on our website www.sharkhunters.com then
select TOURS. From there select 2008 and also 2009 Argentina. We pick up
the story with this bunker.

At the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi in Villa Tacol twenty-eight kilometers

from Bariloche is a strange construction built on the shores of the lake in
the zone of Villa Tacol and very near to Llao-Llao. To get here from
Bariloche one must traverse twenty-five kilometers to the Avenue Exequiel
Bustillo Towards Llao-Llao where the famous hotel building and port
named ‘Panuelo’ handkershift then one must continue on the same route
connected to Municipal Park Llao-Llao. At 3.2 kilometer of Port ‘Panuelo’
is a post marked ‘Villa Tacol’ then go to the right 1.4 kilometers until the
road ends just before the shore of the lake. Park then at the left, walk about
100 meters into the forest.

We
walked this trail many times to El Bunker

Then one can see the ruins of the site. This is an important site as the
columns are still standing – it was kind of a bunker on the shore of Lake
Nahuel Huapi. There was never an official record of this site in Bariloche
and no records on who owned it. What was the purpose to build it? The site
was built on the shore to receive the arrival of boats of great size and from
that site there is a visual for observation of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

EDITOR NOTE – From the photo on the next page we see anyone passing
here towards to Hitler’s home will be easily seen and reported to the estate.
Coming from the other direction they would be seen by those at the Saracen
Tower as previously reported. It was impossible to approach Hitler’s estate
from either direction without being spotted and reported– there were armed
German patrols on the lake and ashore in those years.

The Argentine Army dynamite d this site in the 1960’s as a“training

exercise” and there is no information on this site yet locals say this was a
Nazi hub in the 1940’s. There is no evidence to that this was an unfinished
hotel.

BERGHOF REFUGE

The Berghof Refuge is located on Cerro Otto (Otto’s Mountain) and it was
built by the German Otto Mehling. This was the first functional ski center in
Bariloche. To get here one must go on la Avenida los Pioneros (Pioneer’s
Avenue) all the way to KM 1. In front of the service station the road goes
upward to the Berghof where Mehling lived.

Mehling arrived to Argentina on 5 January 1924 and on 12 January 1930 he

arrived Bariloche where he lived the rest of his life. He was an excellent
mountaineer and he founded CAB (Club Andino Bariloche. The first ski
lines were at Cerro Otto which was named after Otto Gödecke who had a
farmhouse on the mountain.

Mehling founded the CAB and with this club formed the foundation to
build a network of refuge areas in the mountains.
Theroad is much more modern now…..more or less
The construction is of typical Bavarian wood and it is now a public place;
with even a bar and visitors can stay overnight.
EDITOR NOTE– it is primitive– it is DAMN primitive!

He was a great Alpine expert and knew the mountain areas well. In 1934,
when the Nazi spread in Europe, he went to Germany and stayed about a
year. When he returned to Bariloche, he was named ‘Captain’ in the Club
Andino where he became a ski guide and instructor.

In March 1937 Mehling built the first cabin in the Piedras Blancas (White
Stones) area near Cerro Otto on land area of Caparo Family. The rustic
house was named ‘Bergfriezden’ (peace on the mountain). In the winter
Mehling turned his house into a ski school and named it‘Esqulade Ski
Tronador’ (Tronodor Ski School). Mehling then bought more land from
Benito Buock in the hill sector of Otto.
There he built a great refuge; a cabin and other structures and it was started
in November and December 1939 just when World War Two started. The
construction was done by the German company Lunde und Reichart and by
the winter 1940 the ski school was already running.

EDITOR NOTE– Remember that winter in Argentina is opposite of the

Northern Hemisphere - June, July etc.
According to Vojko Arko, the biographer of Mehling this is where Perón
learned to ski. The officers stationed in Bariloche were sent to the school to
learn to ski and among them were two future Argentine presidents; Juan
Domingo Perón (seen here in training) and Edelmiro Farrel.

This is the case of two military Argentines that formed the group GOU, the
United Officers Group, with clear Nazi-Fascist orientation.

On 29 December 1944 Mehling, now active in the Hitler Youth, married a

Bariloche girl, Carlota Augusta Fitzki. The marriage was a disaster! She did
not want to live on the mountain Cerro Otto.

EDITOR NOTE– No wonder! This place is really remote even by today’s

standards. What must it have been like then?

Mehling dedicated himself to being a guide in the area – and an observer.

From his high location, Mehling could watch anyone coming up the
mountain. It was a true lookout point. It was first called ‘Bergfreude’ then
he changed it to ‘Berghof’.

OceanofPDF.com
‘Un Pionero en Bariloche’
A Pioneer of Bariloche is wha t Mehling was called. This name ‘Berghof’
was also the name of Hitler’s mountain house in the Alps. Arko argues that
Mehling was NOT a Nazi but since they were friends, it is obvious not all
true and Vojko Arko wrote Mehling’s biography. Arko states the Berghof in
Argentina was a place of parties and reunions for Germans in that area of
Bariloche. He assures that Cerro Otto was like a German second home.

Parties
and Reunions Similar to This?

Some non-Germans in Bariloche did believe Mehling was a Nazi but Arko
states this was not true yet Mehling wrote in his diary on 1 April 1939 that
he admired Hitler. Then on 8 May 1945 when the Nazis signed the armistice
to end the war (unconditional surrender) Mehling only wrote in his
diary;‘Die del Triste Armisticio’ (sad day of armistice).

Mehling Flew to Berlin for a Plan for the Escape

of Adolf Hitler in Case Germany Lost the War
This mountain spy flew to Berlin in 1943 at the high point of the war in
order to receive instructions in relation of a plan for the escape of Adolf
Hitler in case Germany lost the war.

The main function of Mehling was to use the ski schools and Club Andino
as fronts for the real intentions to utilize the high mountain locations as
secret hideouts which they had in Argentina. The house of Mehling is still
there with all his personal items including photos, letters, documents etc. It
is logical that his friends removed any negative items from the house yet in
the year 2000 an original manual was found which was utilized by the
Nazis in the occupation of France. It had instructions how the Nazis should
act militarily in the occupation of France.

Hauptsturmführer Herbert Habel
SS Captain Herbert Habel lived in a big house in a place called ‘Las
Golondrinas’ (the Swallows) northeast of Chubut. To get there from
Bariloche travel 120 kilometers to National Route 258 all the way to ‘El
Bolson’ (the bag) and from there about nine kilometers is ‘Las Golondrinas’
inside the municipal center in ‘Lago Puelo’ (Lake Puelo). There are houses
and farmhouses all along the mountains, valleys and forests.

There Habel built an important house on the mountain. Habel had lived
most of his time in Buenos Aires. He planned to live in the south of
Argentina so when he turned 70 years, he went to build that house there. He
escaped from Germany and arrived in Argentina in 1950 using the false
name Kurz Repa. He was unknown in Argentina until 1999 a report
surfaced about his time in Argentina and he himself said that he had used a
false name. There was a documentary about his arrival to South America
and the initial interest was from Austria, then it focused on his travels in
France and later in Spain.
From Spain he embarked aboard the ‘Cabo de Buena Esperanza’ (the Cape
of Good Hope) from the Spanish lines Ybarra; its destination was Buenos
Aires according to Habel. He even asked Perón to get his real identification
back. Perón did help him and ordered a judge to make it happen.

Habel also said that during World War Two he did functions in the Austrian
city of Linz and that he helped the Austrian governor there. Habel states this
is where gold bars were loaded – the gold of Hungary taken by German
troops.

Habel also said that he met Adolf Eichmann in Buenos Aires and he states
that Eichmann informed him that the maximum number of Jews killed was
300,000 and not the six million as the official story is in the Holocaust.
Thereafter, the National Institute of Xenophobia, Discrimination and
Racism (INADI) of Argentina denounced the old German by the federal
judge of Civil and Commercial, Francisco de Asis Soto against Habel.

His crime was that he used a false name and fooled immigration authorities
to enter Argentina in the 1950’s. Habel had then already moved to ‘Las
Golondrinas’. Habel died in July 2000, just a year when the judicial charges
were made against him.

The author (S.E.I.G. Agent SECOND SON) discovered Habel living in

southern Argentina and they talked about many stories in the winter of
1999. On 18 July 1999 when his story became public, the great story was
then used to denounce him by INADI on the grounds of lying about his
name and immigration status.

We have pointed out that the story of the mysterious bunker is also
important to the story of Hitler’s life at his estate Inalco. The estate was
only accessible by water and if anyone came from one direction, they must
pass the Saracen Tower. If they came from the other direction, they must
pass the bunker. All these photos are on our website www.sharkhunters.com

La Chacrade Madrio Franz Ruffinengo

This means “ The Farm of Mario Franz Ruffinengo” and the farmhouse was
knownas “Cortijo delMonte”. This was in the rural zone of El Bolson (the
bag) 120 kilometers south of San Carlos di Bariloche. He was an immigrant
from Tyrol in Italy and in charge of the immigration from Genoa, Italy.
Perón named him to serve in that position during the 1940’s. This was a key
post as the Commission could grant easy access for Nazis to use and escape
to Argentina in World War Two.

Facilitate the Escape of Hitler

their Hotel; the Eden Hotel

Former SS Hauptsturmführer (Captain) Habel could count on Ruffinengo to

facilitate the escape of others like Adolf Hitler, Martin Bormann. Habel had
a letter which Bormann thanks Ruffinengo for letting him escape.

Ruffinengo was born 22 February 1919 in Wardhofen of Vienna, Austria.

Once he arrived at Rio de la Plata, he showed a Permit of Freedom to
disembark given from the Delegate of Argentina of Immigration in Europe
with office in Italy dated 10 April 1948. He arrived in Buenos Aires on 13
May 1948 from Genoa, Italy aboard the steamer BUENOS AIRES.

He immediately declared his Italian citizenship then in Buenos Aires, he

founded a tourism company which continued to help Nazis seeking exile to
live in Argentina. He lived on Aviador Giablenz Street #455 in the locality
of Bonaerense in El Palomar. In Buenos Aires he frequently attended the
post-war circle which had members like Mahler/Kopps and other comrades.
Kopps also had a farmhouse in the Cordillera de los Andes (the mountain
chain of the Andes) and they gathered for Nazi reunions with those who still
believed in the ideology after World War Two.

Ruffinengo lived in his farmhouse ‘ El Bolson’ until well into his old age
and he decided to move into Buenos Aires. In the south, he frequently saw
Habel and other old friends. On 17 January 1961 he received a passport to
travel to West Germany where he was present to testify on behalf of Carlos
Fuldner, address was Cordoba 325 in Buenos Aires.

T his means “The Farmhouse of Nazi Engineer” in the rural zone of the
Lago Puelo community. He called it ‘el Mangrullo’ which is an old colonial
type watch tower and he was located about 130 kilometers south of San
Carlos di Bariloche. The farmhouseof ‘elMangrullo’ was administered by
the Nazi engineer Max Teodor Wuppermann. This is located on
theprovisional road #16 halfway between ‘El Bolson’ and Lago Puelo.

Wuppermann worked on the V-2 rockets with the famous Wernherr von
Braun. V-2 rockets are the flying bombs that fell on London during World
War Two. He had properties in Bariloche, ‘el Mangrullo’ in Lake Puelo and
other estates in Argentina and a vast extension of camps in Paraguay.

EDITOR NOTE – We must wonder if this was related to the secret camp
we visited in 2014 in the Cordoba province. Go to www.sharkhunters.com
then look under Previous Tours. We were in this one!

Wuppermann, born 4 September 1915 in Germany came from a wealthy

family. His father Wilhelm Wuppermann owned an industrial textile
company. On 18 July 1999 the author read a document from the
Information of the Commission on Nazi Activities in Argentina but was not
allowed to have a copy. He was a good investor and during the war he
formed scientific teams from the Third Reich. In 1960 when he arrived to
Argentina, he immediately joined the far right sector where he met with
company owners, military officers and European immigrants and further, he
was a friend of Reinhard Kopps (alias Juan Maler) who shared the property
‘El Mangrullo’.

At one time, Wuppermann had acquired the farmhouse but later they made
an accord between them, and Kopps kept the farmhouse. Both were
members of the inner circle of intellectuals in Buenos Aires. They made
publications on National Socialism. On the property ‘El Mangrulo’
Wuppermann built a landing strip and many Nazis as well as Argentine
military personnel visited there.

Wuppermann died in an unusual situation. On 27 August 1975 he allegedly

tried to cross a police checkpoint with his car. There was some confusion,
allegedly, and the police shot him dead. According to former SS
Hauptsturmführer Habel, a close friend of Wuppermann, at the time of his
death Wuppermann carried a large sum of money so he could buy a Cessna
plane….the money was never recovered.

When Wuppermann died, a transmitted successor appeared in which

Maler/Kopps took over with Power of Attorney that was signed by
Wuppermann. With this documentation, Maler wanted to manage
Wuppermann’s properties which were in the
name of Wuppermann. He apparently wanted to
inherit all the
Wuppermann
estates and some believe
managed the finances
that

of
ODESSA, a clandestine operation by Germans to
help SS officers in exile.
EDITOR NOTE – As we now know,
ODESSA did existand ‘die Spinne’ was
all over the world performing various
functions. ‘die Spinne’ can mean ‘the
Spider’ or in this case, ‘the spider web’ as
they were everywhere. One of the main
founders, Obergruppenführer Otto Kumm
(photo right) was on the German side of the world and Rudolfo Freude was
on the Argentine end of the chain as the Director of

the Banco Alleman Transatlantico. Those in Germany sent the funds and
Freude administered it to make sure it reached the SS officers who needed
the help.
Apologies – we should not have used the past tense when referring to
ODESSA and ‘die Spinne’. Do not even think that just because the World
War Two veterans who were the founders have passed on that there were no
others to take their places……..we’ve said enough on this already.

In order to do this, Maler/Kopps went to the Justice Department but

Wuppermann’s sister, Leonie, who lived in Germany, traveled from Europe
after getting news of the assassination of her brother. She took over
Wuppermann’s estates and land, except for ‘El Mangrullo’. Leonie then
designated Ernesto Oswald, a close confidant, to administer and manage the
peoperties.

‘ El Mangrullo’ remained the property of Maler/Kopps because the sale was

finalized by Wuppermann before his death. The address of this place is 165
Belgrano in San Carlos di Bariloche. This is where the Hotel Campana (the
Bell) had many functions and the owner was none other
than……….Maler/Kopps.

EDITOR NOTE – Much of this is the result of an interview with Ernesto

Oswald in Buenos Aires, a German soldier who fought in Russia. He
inherited all of Wuppermann’s properties and became the universal inheritor
of all these possessions.

El Goberador Nazi; Frederich Lantschner
The ‘Nazi’ Gov ernor Frederich Lantschner lived at Gallardo Ave. #335. He
was governor of the Austrian Tyrol during World War Two according to the
Commission on Nazi Activities in Argentina (CAENA), Lantschner was a
war criminal. He worked with Erwin Fleiß and Franz Steringer in the illegal
direction of Gau in the Tyrol. This Commission was the main cause for the
state collapse of the Tyrol in 1934.

The ex-governor arrived in Argentina on 14 July 1948 aboard the steamer

BRASILfrom Genoa, Italy using the false name ‘Materna’. Later he
changed back to his real name.

In Bariloche, he owned a construction company and put the emblem of the

SS on the company seal, the same type of SS used by the elite military
corps of the Third Reich. His company named ‘Materna’ to remind him of
his previous false name.

Lantschner published in the Club Andino in Bariloche during the trial of

Erich Priebke, the emblem of the SS which got the attention of the
international press. The SS emblem was quickly taken out of the Lantschner
Company logo.

The Historical Continuity
At the end of the 19th Century, the Argentine Government implemented the
political emigration destines to live in the national territory. The great
thinkers of the time like Domingo Faustino and Juan Bautista Alberdi and
others who were concerned that the introduction of European bloodlines
and preferably the AngloSaxon would benefit the ‘quality’ of the population
which, at that time, was made up of Indians and Creoles. At that time the
native Indians made up 1/3 of the population of Argentina. Alberdi,
Sarmiento and all the others were‘hunters’ that volunteered to direct a
nation. They had faith in that the possibility of many Europeans arriving to
their land to educate the locals in government, work, saving money and
respect of authority because in many places, there was no law.
Alberdi
Sarmiento

The formula of Alberdi was to create a civil society to offer guarantees or

property, work, education and to transfer these ideas to other places. This
would be a Republican style of government yet governed by a few select
men to guide the nation. The result was the immigration of a new time and a
new citizen – a different Argentina– a modern citizen being capable to
function in a modern new world. This is the ‘New Argentina’.

EDITOR NOTE – When I was in Buenos Aires February 2016, I

mentioned to my friend Dr. EDUARDO GERDING Member #6895 that it
was difficult to recognize any Latino faces in Buenos Aires. He said that at
least 80% of those in Argentina were from European stock.
‘ Martin Fierro’ appeared as the arch type of the new gaucho who was
already dead. This is when Estanislao del Campo ridiculed the gaucho; the
Argentine cowboy. The immigration becomes necessary to increase the
Argentine population, to MIX RACES and to get a better ethnic level. This
is Creole thinking.
EDITOR NOTE ‘Martin Fierro’ was a lengthy poem written by José
Hernandez that was originally published in two parts. Today, the Martin
Fierro Award is the most respected award for radio and TV shows in
Argentina.

The Argentine philosophy and with the military objective began to realize
the ‘Conquest of the Desert’ in Patagonia. Many natives were killed during
this time.
EDITOR NOTE – The ‘Conquest of the Desert’, led by General Julio
Argentino Roca, in the 1870’s was basically genocide to eradicate the
indigenous Indian population of Patagonia (more than 1,000 killed) and to
drive remaining survivors (more than 15,000) to the border with Chile and
thereby preventing Chile from expanding eastward into Patagonia.
Roca is seen on the black horse at the front in this painting

This type of ‘ethnic cleansing’ is not unlike the situation that ended in
August 1939 by which some 450,000 ethnic Germans (Volksdeutscher)
were forcibly removed from their ancestral homes in what became Poland
as well as some 49,000 Volksdeutscher being massacred by Polish citizens
and authorities alike which culminated in Hitler’s decision to send in the
troops to protect Volksdeutscher in Poland. From there it was escalated into
WW II.
Argentina then turned Patagonia into the ‘breadbasket’ of South America
and made Argentina an agricultural superpower in the early 20th century.

The killings took place in the faraway lands of Argentina and even farther
from Buenos Aires. The Argentines had already called the killing lands as
the ‘Damn Lands’ which was traveled by Charles Darwin, the well-known
scientist who traveled Patagonia in the 19th Century. And so in this way, the
Argentine Government put the natives along the Chilean border.

The eventual outcome was that the first European settlers arriving in
Patagonia began killing natives at will. They even started a hunting
campaign and bounties were paid to the hunters when the ears of a native
were presented. This did not work because too many earless natives were
seen still walking about so they changed the requirements and paid the
bounty only when the hunterpresented a native’s penis. These new
Conquistadors gained much more, spreading around in South America.

For example, Mauricio Braun was owner of 2,000,000 (two million) acres
of land. His brother-in-law, José Menendez with the Menendez-Bethy
Society had 1,028,000 acres of land. They had other friends in the same
group that owned even more land.
This great land empire was known as ‘The Patriotic League of Argentina’
on the other side of Chile and the same method was accomplished - profit
and wealth by raising sheep yet not really helping Argentina with any
benefits. Most Europeans preferred only their own people working this
land, so this isolation of Patagonia became a reality and without Argentines.

OceanofPDF.com
Le Eleccion The Election
There is no doubt that the Nazis elected San Carlos di Bariloche as a refuge
at the end of the 19th Century and beginning of the 20th Century. This town
far away to the south of Buenos Aires by about 1,800 kilometers received
an important German migration from the south of Chile. The Argentines
protested on grounds that the Germans had good lands and Chilean
companies also had some lands taken. This was 135 lots of 625 acres each
given to the Europeans (about 84,375 acres in total). The Argentines wrote
about this in ‘La Prensa’ in August 1906. The next year the Argentine
Government investigated this fact under the ‘Land and Colonies Direction’,
the German colonists Oscar Bunge, Otto Gödecke, Gaspar Pothoff and
Ernst Haine and the lands of Gustavo Whinkler.

The Argentines realized that the Germans were doing good business, so
they became angry and jealous. At 5 January 1907 all the colonists had
German nationality. Whinkler was employed by a commercial cattle
company of Chile and Luis Horn was his supervisor of the company. These
were the Argentine-Chile lands or more accurately, the former Indian lands.
Also mentioned were Carlos Rooth and Federico Reichett. Both were
members of the Saxon Capitals with Bernardo Book, Otto Mühleipfordt,
Juan Neu, Juan Carlos Boor and other colonists.

During the First World War, German Navy man Wilhelm Canaris knew
Bariloche and he became familiar with the area of Patagonia in 1910. At
this time there were only 1,250 inhabitants.

EDITOR NOTE – Canaris was an officer aboard the light cruiser

DRESDEN in the cruiser squadron of Admiral Graf von Spee in the first
Battle of the Falkland Islands. The German ships were cut to bits but
DRESDEN had one knot
more speed than the British ships and she was able to escape through the
Straits of Magellan. As they went through the area, Canaris was marking
hidden coves and harbors in which ships could hide. They were knownas
‘U-Plätze’ short for Unbekant (unknown) Places and with typical German
precision, he noted the depth of the water, the type of bottom for anchoring,
height of the trees, distance to shipping lanes and inhabited areas – in short,
a network of places where ships could disappear.
The cruiser made it to Chile but was in such terrible shape, she was scuttled
and the crew interned. Canaris went on horseback in the dead of winter,
over the Andes arriving in San Carlos di Bariloche to later become a haven
for 3rd Reich escapees.

When Canaris became Chief of the Secret Service for Hitler, he had always
in mind Bariloche as it was the perfect refuge and it had a wellestablished
German community. This was the plan if Germany lost the war and that is
what happened…..World War Two was a continuation of World War One.
Bariloche already had isolation, a German aristocracy - even support of the
Argentine military. The idea of increasing European blood in Argentina was
still vibrant and this was increased as the years went by. So receiving Nazis
was a privilege.

In 1913 Theodor Roosevelt arrived to Bariloche and he crossed the Andes.

He was already President for two terms of the United States and he had
declined the Nobel Prize in 1905 for his intervention in the RussoJapanese
War. He was very active and had U.S. imperial interests and organized an
expedition to get to know South America. In Bariloche, he was very
impressed with the altitudes of the region and how the Europeans directed
the town of Bariloche and the Creoles did the manual labor.

To understand the objectives and values, one can see the example taken
from a published diary in 1842 of ‘El Dia’ (the day) a daily publication in
Buenos Aires. This was an article where the Patagonians proposed new
legislation in the territory of Neuquen, Rio Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and
Tierra del Fuego.

These southern lands already had their own distinction in that they were
populated by northern Europeans – Germans, Swiss, Norwegians, Russians,
Danish and Austrian that were now in that region, but Mexico was
influenced by French military while the Argentines were influenced by the
Germans.

In order to pass legislation, Congress had to facilitate immigration from

those countries into Patagonia. They were trying to do what North
Americans did - for example; Texas. In Argentina it was granted to let
Germans get established. When World War One broke out, Argentina
became neutral. The German seeds had found fertile land in Argentina
which was also admiring the expressions and personalities of Germany.
That was nothing new as Germany had a political exterior plan to motivate
and develop a German influence in other nations. The Argentine military
could be part of Germany and other members of the society could travel and
exchange cultural customs. The Argentine Army was very much affected by
the German influence– so much that German officers were charged with the
organization of the Argentine forces. The Argentine military also used
Prussian regulations, uniforms and German weapons. About 150 officers
joined the German Army.
These are Argentine Army, not German soldiers and equipment
in Argentina are not Wehrmacht (German military), they are
regular Argentine troops in German style uniforms with German equipment
and being trained by German soldiers.

During World War One, the Allies t alked about ‘the German Peril’ in the
expansion efforts in South America. The Allies said that the Kaiser had
interest in Argentina, Brazil and Chile if only Germany had won the war.
The pressure however, of the USA and Great Britain, caused Argentina’s
President Hipolite Yrigoyen (1928-1930) to keep Argentina neutral.

It was said ‘ …..and they arrive to Bariloche, a town reselbling the Old
West’. The townspeople are vigorous, hard workers and of different ethnic
backgrounds. The Europeans made the Upper Class though German
Chileans who came from the mountains and live in Bariloche brought fresh
ideas, started schools and a library.
During Election
Campaign Official Painting in
office

The Italians brought Primo Capraro who started a school and a library, built
roads and brought tourism to Bariloche. Many Chileans came as well,
providing cheap labor.

Theodore Roosevelt came here and was shown the historical cypress from
which were built boats. Roosevelt saw the school, the German community
and saw Martin Luther and the Kaiser on the walls. That night he ate
salmon in a German house in which two ladies served him– one a Russian
and the other a Belgian. He met Reybaud el Perito (the Expert) Moreno, Dr.
Ruiz Moreno and Governor de Nequen.

Roosevelt talked about literature and other rustic things. They talked about
Cervantes and Lope de Vega, Camoens, Mollier and Shakespeare. The
German talked about the Niebllungenlied and Homer but the main event
was the Italian Primo Capraro who recited passages of Dante. Roosevelt
had never encountered so much culture in a frontier region. After World
War One, the relations between Buenos Aires and Berlin became stronger.
The commerce between the two nations continued and more Germans came
to Buenos Aires just like their ancestors did in the 19th Century and the
beginning of the 20th Century. Many more German colonies grew in
Argentina and other Europeans also moved in from the Mesopotamia area.

During the 1920’s when Italian Fascism got its firs t victories and Nazism
was beginning to grow in Europe and the founders of Patagonia organized a
plan to kill the indigenous workers there.

The Argentina Army was sent there to restore order and to prevent the
massive strikes of the workers in Patagonia. The ‘Patriotic League of
Argentina’ killed about 1,000 workers who had demanded better living
conditions and dignified work. This was a massacre and a national tragedy.
The long distance to Buenos Aires, lack of real time information and
communication, and the hidden interests contributed to the situation. This
even was brought to attention by writer Osvaldo Bayer in the 1970’s. There
was also a movie made ‘la
Patagonia Rebele’ (Patagonian Rebel).
These are the facts about the people who
lived in Patagonia during that time and
the same Patagonians who received the
Nazis with open arms.

Confirmation of Argentina ’s
help to U-Boats in WW II
Argentina– a salient nation– then was allied to Adolf Hitler. Argentina let
German cruisers enter its ports in World War One. Those same ports and
bases later supported Nazi submarines known as ‘Lobos Grisses’……’Grey
Wolves’!

EDITOR NOTE – The German cruisers were using Argentine ports during
World War One and were in Argentine waters on behalf of Argentina
attempting to dislodge the British from the Falkland Islands/Islas Malvinas
to return them to Argentina. The entire cruiser squadron of Admiral Graf
von Spee was totally wiped out in the 1915 Battle of the Falklands.

Additional………Bayer revealed the a nalogy of the tragic incident at Cabo

Domingo and the killing of the workers at the estate of Anita as well as at
the Estate Menendez-Benety and in Santa Cruz during the strikes of 1921.
The result was the same….the necessity to herd sheep as this was the main
money-maker for the German farmers. The ‘politics’ of the past, the
conquest tradition, became part of the new emigrants. The Germans and
Europeans went further. In Cabo Domingo they killed in masses. In Anita it
was the same. Back then the Indians were hungry and weak, but the
workers could put up a stronger fight and keep the lands.

Tierra del Fuego was cleaned out. The result of the killings in Santa Cruz
was the same and today Santa Cruz in inhabited by a few people. The only
exception to the Patagonian Tragedy were the missionaries of Sileria who
wanted to Christianize the Indians.

EDITOR NOTE – Like so many pieces of history, this is just another that
has not received great attention as the years go by…..perhaps the same as
the forced removal of nearly half a million ethnic Germans from ancestral
homes in what had become Poland after WW I or the brutal massacre of
some 49,000 Volksdeutscher in late August 1939 or the wholesale rape and
murder of hundreds of thousands German civilians after World War Two
ended.

La Patagonia Rebelede Patagonian Rebel
This was a film done in 1974 but not permitted to be seen by order of Juan
Peroñ. It was later authorized to be seen two weeks before the death of
Peroñ. Paulino Tato then ordered the movie not be played. He was the
official censor. Bayer received death threats and he went into exile. This
movie told the history of what happened in Patagonia half a century ago.

German ships received supplies in the Patagonia area. One of those ships
was at the south of the city of Commodore Rivadavia where the crew would
disembark to get supplies and fuel and receive different types of secret
support.

For example – from the south of Argentina many minerals and metals were
taken which were sent to Berlin during World War Two. When the blockade
was made against Germany during World War Two, the German community
supported in any possible way, the German cause.

When the war ended, Bariloche became a haven for Nazis who escaped
Europe and settled in Argentina. This area turned into a real European
village, a place where old comrades could meet. Adolf Eichmann and Josef
Mengele walked in the streets of Bariloche.

EDITOR NOTE - This is a photo of Eichmann that I located when I was

there in 2014. He is seen here with his Hitler Youth dagger tucked into his
waistband and his hat at his usual jaunty angle.
Even the tales of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun in San Ramon, then in the
property of Inalco when the terrain was difficult to access.
Another mention is the Lago Puelo 150km south of Bariloche; a functioning
group of officials of war lived there, then the private clinic in the zone of
Llao-Llao. The clinic was a plastic surgery site in order to change the faces
of the wanted men. In Bariloche in those times, the task of National Peace
Judge Hector Florido was to select documents with problems that Nazis
used to arrive in Patagonia. Just in case, a military unit was stationed in
Patagonia on orders of Juan Perón. This Argentine unit had pro-Nazi
orientation and they kept the peace and tranquility for the new arrivals.
The Argentine Government in complicity with the military, aristocrats and
corporations did help support Adolf Hitler during and after World War Two.
Argentina became ‘Pais Amigo’ (friendly country) to Germany; Argentina
became a Nazi refuge. There were also many transfers of many kinds after
the fall of Berlin in 1945.

The large buying of land in Bariloche like other areas of Argentina gave the
Nazis capital during the end of World War Two. The Allies knew of these
rich groups and real estate power in Bariloche. This city became the “Swiss-
Argentina”. This has a double meaning. For one side, the beauty of the land
which makes Bariloche look like Europe and on the other, just like
Switzerland which was neutral– and helped the Nazis during World War
Two.

Many Europeans decided to live there until the end of their days. Some
went skiing, some went for the fishing and some just went to visit old
friends. This also happened in the south of Chile in the area known as ‘New
Braunau’. Braunau is the city in Austria where Adolf Hitler was born. In
that area are great extensions of land owned by the Germans living there
and extreme para-right groups connected to Pinochet.

EDITOR NOTE – To‘meet old friends’ to be sure. There was the home and
shop of Hauptsturmführer SS Erich Priebke. Here in Bariloche, he helped
form the German School, the German Cultural Center and Club Andino
which was a place for German security to gather.

This is an example of what happened in the export of clandestine metals

like iron which was used for weapons. During World War Two, the Nazis
extracted Vanadium from Patagonia and took it to the German industry.
There are ‘Fundos’ (Farm Estates) like ‘Lindemann’, an SS officer who
fought in Stalingrad; Kaufmann, Mayor of Hamburg; ‘Lupi’ and SS general
and von Auserg, Mayor of Styria, Austria. There are also military estates
Contreras, the former chief of the Chilean secret police DINA; ‘Siebert’ a
general and senator of the National Renovation Party which was a branch of
Pinochet and Stange who was Pinochet’s general and former chief of
Chile’s caribineers.
There is also the farm e state ‘Schilling’ of the financier of the Junta
‘Junkers’ group that brought Pinochet to power and defeated the
constitutional Chilean President Allende.

Pinochet

Allende
In most recent times, in the local area of Chile’s Osorno, a metal company
whose businessmen were all German, had the name Odessa. The name
Odessa is the organization created by the Nazis in order to help each other
in exile.

EDITOR NOTE – Remember, General SS Otto Kumm was a founder and

a leader of Odessa, let us not forget ‘die Spinne’. Returning to Bariloche–
there are other estates that were active like Freude, Fritz Mandl and Thilo
Martens. Keep in mind that Freude was best friends with Perón. He was
also the Director of Banco Transatlantico Alleman which was the bank that
funneled money from Europe to Odessa.

Remember also that another of the very wealthy estate owners was Fritz
Nabdl, a weapons dealer who gave his wife to Adolf Hitler for one night,
we assume to secure an arms contract from him. She was the Austrian
beauty later known to American movie goers as Hedy Lamarr.

Most of the land, the properties investigated in this work are the estates that
were taken half a century ago by these mentioned individuals then passed to
other Nazis or anonymous societies. These societies were there to
administer and bringing the enigmatic European capitals into South
America. The arrival of German businessmen was recorded in Argentina in
documentation which is archived in the foreign economy administration in
the US Government.

Wherli Bank is the base of information of long time ago and the dilution of
paperwork that the Bank of Wherli, a Swiss bank, was playing to misinform
activities. “Johan Wherli and Company” Zurich Bank maintained relations
with the Third Reich in secret. Wherli created a lot of anonymous societies
in Argentine and their motivation was to safeguard and invest large sums of
money received from Europe and to keep the investments secured if
Germany lost the war.

Wherli Bank even moved to Buenos Aires in 1946 after the Allies won
against Germany, Italy and Japan. The Swiss group had already created
three anonymous societies from the start of World War Two in Argentina.
The societies had control over other sub groups but had no connection of
business yet. The network created was efficient because finances could
move from one group to another, just like Nazi gold which was used to
protect Nazi criminals (war veterans) and get false papers.

Other firms were ‘ Securitas S.A.’; ‘Stella’ and ‘San Juan’ known by the
Allies simply as the ‘3 S’. One of the directors of the society, Luis Marina
Gustavino in 1959 recognized them in three more firms from the Wherli.
These were ‘Industrias Delta’, ‘Fimisa’ and estate ‘La Activa’.

In the investigation proved th at ‘La Activa’ advanced great amounts of land

in Bariloche. Then there came the building of great mansions and houses in
the Alpine style which are still there and can be seen from a distance in the
area known as‘Swiss Argentina’

Some of these properties were sold while some are inherited from the first
original owners. The anonymous commercial financial and estates society
‘La Activa’ when they bought lands in Bariloche, it gave as an address 311
Corrientes Avenue in Buenos Aires just like the panels recorded of the local
municipal office. This was the ‘Martens’ Building. This is where there was
another anonymous society. Today they are inactive, created by the Nazis in
Argentina.

The estate of Thilo Martens, who had a business to provide Intel to Adolf
Hitler from Argentina, in Bariloche he had one property which was on ‘La
Activa’ name. Other individuals also had property like Freude, the financial
expert.

Another anonymous society whose purpose was to acquire lands in

Bariloche was ‘Safina’, owned by Argentina millionaire and pro-Nazi Fritz
Mandl.

Another anonymous society ‘RNCA SAIF and C’ was connected to Rudolfo

Freude; a commercial group who bought estates in Bariloche and giving the
same address as Martens. These individuals without any doubt, were the
‘Fat Fish’ of the National Socialism and their names are in the recorded
Intel of that time.

Even the Argentine commission (CAENA) investigated Nazi activities in

Argentina. This Commission was active in the 1990’s and they concluded
that the main Nazi investors were Freude, Thilo Martens, Fritz Mandl and
Heinrich Dörge. Dörge was killed in 1946. This was just an overview of
activities that were confirmed yet they wanted to find out with more
investigations in other zones of Argentina. Investigating the estates is the
best way to find out further information on who lived there. This however,
could be the task of generating information but still have unknowns. It is
impossible for an emigrant to have land, build estates and live a luxurious
life and especially a post-war emigrant arriving to Argentina. This is why
Bariloche is an important start of investigation. The network that built them
might never be opened but the records left behind can be traced, especially
funds transferred after the war.

A precise plan of evacuation are key factors in the hour to understand the
facts. And the individuals mentioned like SS Ernst Hammann, Oscar Otto,
Berger and Ninfrid Schroppe….these are just a few of the Nazis who found
refuge in Argentina under Perón.

The first thing they needed was peace and tranquility to establish
themselves in friendly countries, then the Nazi gold was transformed into
protection guarantees, buying estates and getting false documents then
finding work, building businesses and working with other Germans.

After the war, the fanatics will initiate the creation of the 4th Reich!

This 4th Reich project, a Utopia to them, became to combine their forces to
combat communist ideas. The ideology of Nazism-Pascist was exported to
the world. This is how the extreme right of South America got the vision to
crystalize their plans to get into dictatorship power using military force in
the 20th Century. The reading of pamphlets, magazines, books and diaries
was over. Not only did the extreme right groups admire the Third Reich, the
Nazis from Europe now in South America. They inspired the creation of
clandestine camps.
EDITOR NOTE – Remember, we were in one of these special camps in
2014. Here are more of the photos.
Left - The hidden entrance fifty years ago
Right– The same entrance when we went there in 2014

They instructed the South American military ‘ SUDACAS’. The German

instructors taught them torture and it was used in the ‘Guerra Sucia’ (Dirty
War) in the 1970’s.
Another example is the Nazi pilot Albrecht Böhme who resided in the local
area of Patagonia of Cervantes in the province of Rio Negro east of
Bariloche. The aviator arrived to Argentina in 1950 and lived in Cordoba
and Lago Puelo (Lake Puelo) where he had his farmhouse.

Reinhard Kopps, the ex-German spy, was the intellectual of the neo-Nazi
movement and other war groups. He then moved to Rio Negro Valley where
he was a humble neighbor, paid his bills, had a social life and became
President of the Agriculture Chamber of Cervantes. This he did without
having any suspicions of his double life. He was an instructor and
participated in clandestine operations ordered by the Argentina military.

EDITOR NOTE – It was Kopps (Maler) who, when confronted by

authorities, suggested they leave him alone and go after Erich Priebke. This
resulted in Priebke finishing out his life under house arrest in a very nice
apartment in Rome.

Colonia Dignidad
He took part in Operation Condor, a plan in conjunction with the de facto
governments of South America. Böhme, who died in 1986, maintained
correspondence from Argentina with many important Nazis like General
Walter von Seydlitz, Heinrich Aschenbrenner, Erich von Mannstein and
Kurt Student.

An example of the clandestine work being done is the Colonia Dignidad

(Dignity Colony) founded in 1961 by ex-Nazi Paul Schäfer in Parral located
354 kilometers on the south of Chile.

La Colonia Dignidad presented the image of a peaceful place where a

hospital wasbuilt for the less fortunate and education to the worker’s
children was available but that was the center of torture by the National
Intel Director of Pinochet (DINA) the Secret Police of Pinochet that ran the
country from 1973 to 1990. Years later, the name was changed to
Benefactora Dignidad and was less restrictive.
EDITOR NOTE– Our guide told us that, during those years, the most
feared vehicle on the road was the Falcon Verde; the Green Ford Falcon
automobiles used by DINA. When a person was pulled into one of these
cars, he was never seen again. It is believed that he was taken to Colonia
Dignidad or similar for torture and death.
In 1977 an agent of DINA who was ashamed and had a change of heart,
confessed to the Catholic Church that Colonia Dignidad was a center for
torture…or re-education, directed by Germans.

In that year Amnesty International accused the Colony where 300 Germans
lived, of being a center of torture. In 1980 the German Justice, by second
channels of communication, solicited Chile to make an investigation into
the torture case. Chile refused!

In 1988 from pressure of the international views, Chancellor Hermann

Errazuriz began investigation permitted by President Aywin (1990-1994).
This then put an end to the jurisdiction of Colonia Dignidad. Schäfer, the
founder, disappeared in the 1990’s.

EDITOR NOTE – Some years ago it was reported that he was being
sought for, indicted or tried for pedophilia. Most historians believe this was
merely a way for the government to silence
Schäfer. Who knows?

There was a time always to talk with the war criminals. Maler maintained a
fluid communication with Klaus Barbie, the ex-Gestapo Chief in Lyon,
France and also with SS Walter Rauf, the inventor of the mobile gas
chambers.

EDITOR NOTE – Many years ago when Barbie was living in Bogota,
Columbia then arrested for war crimes; it was learned that he had been an
asset of the CIA

in that country and that his CIA handler was Pierre Salinger! He personally
helped the ‘Angel of Death’ Josef Mengele in Argentina. He confessed that
Mengele was at his farm estate and stayed 10 to 15 days at least. Böhme
even let war veterans stay also until they could resolve their matters
according to Jorge Uppari, a butcher of Cervantes who had a friendship
with the German pilot.
Böhme also maintained contact with Hans Ulrich Rudel who lived in
Argentina– the same man destined to succeed Adolf Hitler in the 1950’s
voted by the extreme right in Germany.

EDITOR NOTE – Colonel Rudel was one of the three German pilots that
rebuilt the Argentina Air Force. The other two were Werner Baumbach and
General ADOLF GALLAND, Sharkhunters Member #2854.

The aviator Böhme, just like the other war veterans Nazis living in
Argentina, had access to Dictator Jorge Rafael. They discussed possible war
with neighbor Chile during 1978 on neighboring borders. This is an
unknown historical fact yet one can recognize the case of the ex-German
officers counseling Dictator Leopold Forunato Galtieri on how the
Argentines should fight the British in the Falkland Islands (the Islas
Malvinas) in 1982.

The old Nazi sailors’ reunions were recorded by Gustavo Nagel who was
familiar with an exsubmariner that lived in the vicinity of Quilmes. This
person said, the cousin of his father Otto Nagel along with other comrade
war veterans, residents of Buenos Aires, reunited with Argentine military in
order to council them before and after the war of Argentina vs. Great Britain
in order to take the Islas Malvinas (Falkland Islands).

It had been almost seventy years since the Germans lost the war (World War
One) and they wanted revenge. In that area, on the southern end of the
Atlantic, the German fleet of Admiral Graf von Spee was defeated by the
British.

After the war, Rauf escaped to Genoa, Italy and there built an office to
make false documents for travel. In 1949 Rauf then escaped and went to
Patagonia. He relocated to the Chilean town of Punta Arenas (Sand Point)
where he became owner of a company which specialized in seafood. The
owners were the Braun-Menendez Family.

Rauf also provided his services to the dictator of Chile, Augusto Pinochet.
He took charge of detention camps, clandestine operations and torture.
Assassinations of many citizens were done for those who opposed the
Chilean military rule. The Chilean, writer Luis Sepulveda, assures this was
when Rauf maintained a reunion in Bariloche with Erich Priebke and Josè
Lopez Rega, the minister of Juan Perón when Perón was elected a third
time in 1972. Perón had governed Argentina from 1946 until 1955 when his
second term was interrupted by a military coup.

According to Sepulveda, LopezRega alias ‘El Brujo’ (the Warlock) had two
letters presented to ex-SS Herbert Kappler and the other to Licio Gelli,
Chief of Logia #P2. Kappler was a superior to Priebke during World War II.
This was a meeting to establish the Alianza Anticommunista Argentina
(A.A.A.)…..the alliance against communism in Argentina, a clandestine
branch from the extreme right of Argentina under Perón.

The A.A.A. was responsible for many assassinations and attempted killings
during that time. The violence seemed to have no end. And the case or Rauf
is just an example of how German war criminals’ services were optimized
by the Argentine Government that had the same ideas and philosophy of the
Nazis.

These comments of Supulveda were published in the Italian newspaper ‘ Il

Messagero’ (the Messenger) on 14 June 1996. He reported in another Italian
‘la Republica’ (the Republic);

“It is a fact. Patagonia turned into a refuge of many SS, that thereare more
criminals there and even more that haven’t been counted. There exists an
Odessa network in South America.”

He pointed this out as the main fact for many ex-officers were able to
escape and live in exile.

Sepulveda said that during the 1970’s Odessa was allied to the regiments of
the region, the Argentine military and that it was tolerated by the USA and
Israel.

In 1996 from the Villa La Angostura located 60 kilometers from the north
of Bariloche, there was a hot topic of defense for Erich Priebke by Amperid
Riberti, Chief Guard of the personal security of dictator Benito Mussolini.

“I neve r wavered. I am still a Fascist!”

said Riberti, who had chosen the south of Argentina to live. This was said
fifty years after the end of World War Two. There exists a continuity of
historical truth of ideals in which the past of times, it seems to reunite and
mobilize men who think alike. It is important to understand the past to
comprehend the present.

“Priebke did his duty. Stop bothering him, you bastards!’

is what Riberti said in a 17 June 1996 report. It is said that at that time, had
a small table with a light shining on a picture of Mussolini. To him,
Mussolini was a saint. Riberti was the caretaker of the mysterious mansion
INALCO in Villa Angostura associated with top Nazis.

INALCO– Hitler’s home until 1955

During this investigation, it demonstrated the thick penetration of National

Socialism that had relations in Bariloche. The verification of the property of
the land ‘La Tastro Municipal’ (the Property Register) was checked. The
existence of the Nazis, not only from the past because their presence left
their social footprint. In that mountain region now lives more than 100,000
people.
In more recent times, the agent Reinhard Kopps under the false name of
Juan Maler, and the engineer Teodor Wuppermann, administered from the
south of Argentina - part of the funds for International neo-Nazi groups.
Kops wrote many intellectual books at the press of Bariloche. The edited
books were sent to many other countries. Priebke, when Italy requested
extradition, After knowing the past of the Council Deliberate of Bariloche
declared him ‘Persona non Grata’ or an unwelcome person. This
declaration was approved but international pressure had done its work. In
the newspaper ‘Bariloche Hoy’ (Bariloche Today) directed by Facundo
Grane and financed by local companies, did a campaign to defend the ex-SS
officer, indicating his ‘Good Neighbor’ character and his tireless activity in
the cultural Germano-Argentina Association. Many citizens said that he
helped the German community in Bariloche.

the
Germano-Argentine Association in 2008

EDITOR NOTE – Priebke was instrumental in founding and/or operating

this association; the German School (he was Headmaster) and the Club
ANDINO.
They tried defending him until his case was taken to the higher courts.
When Italy formally asked for Priebke to be extradited from Argentina, the
defense voices suddenly preferred to be quiet while other Nazis departed
the city forever.

After 50 years of peace and quiet the calm was broken in Bariloche

la Postal(the Post Office)
For many years Bariloche exhibited for postal location the Hotel LlaoLlao,
the Civic Center and the beautiful lakes and mountains of the region. In
order to preserve the image in front of foreign eyes, the poor people were
put in a confined area of ‘Barrios Altos’ (High Ghettos) located in the south
of the city known as ‘Los Negros’ (the Blacks). The workers had poor
working conditions and miserable life.

EDITOR NOTE – Our Sharkhunters ‘Patrols’ stop at Llao-Llao for a

snack. This magnificent place was built with German money, opened in
1938, suffered a fire, rebuilt and re-opened in 1939. Interesting visitors to
Llao-Llao include Dwight Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and
Barack Obama during their terms as President of the United States.
Secretary of State John Kerry visited here in 2016. This raisessome
interesting questions…….
Bariloche was no exception. In Buenos Aires the Juntas Military (Military
Groups) of Argentina decided to build higher walls to cover the ghettos.
They were named‘Villa Miseria’ (Misery Village) when they were in the
urban areas. Many wood fences were also built. This was to cover poverty –
not to see poverty because to them, there existed no poverty. That was a
military saying in Bariloche– the geography was made to preserve this
illusion. The officially made goal was to prevent the poor from showing up
in the rich areas, so they made laws to prevent them from using the center
or private areas, like tourism zones.

The conception of a party of the collectives was created by Europeans; a

main city event, dances, songs– all European style as well as food and a
good time. Now it is a big event where the party is set at the Volunteer
Firefighters’ gymnasium – note the fire truck in the circle. European
emigrants take part– Europeans, sons, daughters and cousins. They wear
classic costumes of their land of origin. It is a folkloric festival.
EDITOR NOTE – Our Sharkhunters group were at the event in 2019 and it
was a great time. There was food, little kids on an obstacle course with their
tricycles, music, vendors selling items they made. All in all, a great time
everyone.

Coro Especial (Special Chorus)
‘Interview With Daniel Cravero in 1997’

In September 1997 in an official act, the city of Patagonia of Neuguen, the

chorus group ‘Melacor’ from the Chilean city of El Frutillar. The delegation
was led by Ricardo Kuschel Silva. Two of the members were wearing Tyrol
hats, symbols of the Nazis just like the Swastika and small pins also yet
since it was a folkloric dance, it was no big deal.

The press took notice and it became a big noise event. Ramon Fuensalida,
one of the singers who had a Swastika pin defended himself by saying; “It’s
just a decoration. It was a gift. They gave it to me.”

He had a clear conscience and he continued to the press;

“I’m wearing it in a free establishment, just like you. I enjoy freedom of
life, not trying to offend anyone.”

He was 40 years old.

NOTE – in 1979 in Bariloche they formally celebrated the‘Fiesta

Collectivales’. In 2001 Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Estonia, Denmark,
Switzerland, Hungary, Russia, Croatia and Basque were represented. There
was no British or French participation, and the only Argentine ballet was
the ‘Tolkeyen’.

Nada ha Camdiado (Nothing was Changed)

In June 1997 a person crossed the Andes and moved to Bariloche. An
anonymous caller told police it was Paul Schäffer, the founder of the
Colonia Dignidad located in the south of Chile. He was by then seventysix
years old. He relocated in the center of Nahuel Huapi but when the police
arrived to the estate, Schäffer had already escaped. He left on Friday the
13thand moved to the direction of the farmhouse ‘Mirasol’ in the area of
Rio Negro (Black River) of El Bolson where he registered with the
identification number of foreign Chileans #5.123.517-7.

He stated that he was a German professor who was seventy-six years of age
and he signed with a clear and legible signature. After another anonymous
bit of information, the police from the Rio Negro Region went to the hotel
where he was staying but he had already left. After that, no justice
intervened or federal forces bothered to find him.

Then the Provincial Police went to his room #102 where he had stayed and
used the master key to get in, but he was gone. They only found his
pajamas.

Commissar General Rogelio Arrdapide tried to evade the court proceedings

and he said;
“I did not know if there was an international order to capture him,
so I decided to contact Buenos Aires to find out and also
investigated a commission of police of three people if indeed,
Schäffer was in Bariloche.”

The Political Functionary stated that agents went to the hotel but that the
fugitive had left;
“We found his pajamas and the window was open, but we do not
believe that he climbed down since he was born 1921. We think
he just got away.”

The proceeding was frustrating in Bariloche. It reminds one of the attempt

to capture war criminals in Argentina– the fugitives always escaped at the
last minute. It is possible that the same police gave them advance warning,
just like Eduard Roschmann who was detained by a police unit but later was
able to escape.

The case of Schäffer had other oddities. An extremely right wing Chilean
unit arrived to Barilocheand they took a key piece of evidence…..they took
the book from the hotel where Schäffer had signed in. The local police did
not even bother to check for fingerprints or crossed the room for
investigation. The government of Chile right away denied that they took
any part in any Schäffer business. The evidence– the book – was gone and
the signature could never be confirmed, said the Chief of Police in
Bariloche.

The government of Chile kept stating that the investigation was ongoing.
Bellisario Roloan assumed that Chile had asked Interpol for help in the
capture of Schäffer.
Eduard Roschmann, sometimes called the ‘Butcher of Riga’ was hiding in
Chile and Argentina for many years.

Roschmann was detained in Buenos Aires on 1 July 1977. On 5 July 1977

Federal Police Antonio Mingorance announced that Eduard was in
custody…..then a few days later said he wasn’t sure. In reality Roschmann
escaped from the detention center of the Central Department of Police. He
fled to Paraguay.

This information requesting Interpol to find Schäffer was a lie and

Argentina confirmed it. Jorge Toyio, Chief of Delegation of Federal Police
in Bariloche, assured that there was no request for international capture.
From Chile, this episode became less important and it was classified as ‘a
disturbance in the German community’ then it was assured that Schäffer
could not have left the country because he was wanted by judicial orders,
but no one could explain why a commission of Chile was sent to Bariloche.

However, no one could explain why Chile crossed the border, took the hotel
book and violated Argentine territory. This was not formerly known in
Argentina (off the record). They knew that Chile had crossed the border. As
to the history of Schäfer, Priebke and Maler/Kopps, different versions
appeared as rumors that invaded the city. Bariloche once again was a scene
of mystery, silence and careful talk of Nazis during this period of time.

Now in the 21st Century one can say by biological support, there are no
Nazisleft…..perhaps a few old old timers. Some went to live solitary lives
in the mountains. They did not risk getting seen or caught! Just like Priebke
who decided to live in the center of the city. In the houses of Bariloche, one
can find letters, photos, uniforms and World War Two weapons and still the
birthday of Adolf Hitler (20 April) is celebrated every year and the code of
silence remains in effect.
EDITOR NOTE – In our files we have many photos of such celebrations
complete with the photo of Adolf Hitler as the centerpiece. Some of these
photos are in color and are only a few years old. As we have said on many
occasions – the Third Reich did not die at the end of the war – it just moved
and still exists today.

If the original Nazis have died, they left many indications that they still
exist likethe mentioned sites. It’s like time has not passed and many aspects
remains as they once were.
Above and below – photos shot decades ago
…… .but these were taken in 2017

As
we have said repeatedly, whether one likes it or hates it, the fact remains
that the 3rd Reich did not die; it merely moved elsewhere.

The Nazi Submarine Physicist
Doctor Wolfgang Mechbach was a physicist and very dedicated to his work.
His submarine was sunk during World War Two in the Mediterranean.
Mechbach was the founder in the 1950’s of the Institute of Bariloche; now
the Instituto Balserio. He was the creator of the ‘atomic collisions’ in the
laboratory. He is the pioneer of the atomic center of Bariloche. He was
considered a great physicist that lived in Argentina.

His widow Gabrielle told that he was an officer in the armed forces of the
Third Reich. When his submarine was sunk, the British saved him and
made him a prisoner of war. She also stated that Mechbach, herself and a
little son arrived to Argentina in 1951 in order to work with a group of
professionals in the Southern Technological Institute in Bahia Blanca
(White Bay). It is called that because of an organism in the water.

OceanofPDF.com
The Southern National University
The woman explained that Mechbach worked in the University De La Plata
until 1955. He was invited by physicist Antonio Balseiro to join a small
group of professionals that were pioneers to the atomic center of Bariloche.
Mechbach had over forty years, the initiator of physics, experiments in that
nuclear center. This is archived in the German files.

He wrote in the mentioned Institute that he contribut ed with “The Creation

of High Innovation – lines of Investigation”; “The Design and Construction
of Diverse Teams, the Ions and the Acceleration of Ions that realized the
Many Works of Experiments”.

The contribution to science of the ex-submariner gave value to the

understanding of different organisms. Mechbach died in August 1998 in
Bariloche.

Carta de un Habitante de Bariloche por Temor a

los Nazis
(a letter from an inhabitant of Bariloche who feared the Nazis)

Mrs. Stock transmitted a letter of massive details during the 19 40’s from
Bariloche. She sent it to Park Director Exequel Bustillo.
“Mr. Director of the National Parks, Dr. Exequel Bustillo;
Distinguished Sir,
I have received your prompt attention of the 14th of last month accompanied
with a note of President of the Nations Bank which communicates the
resolution of a favorable construction of a pavement project for the city of
San Carlos di Bariloche. With the auspicious of that direction and that you
let me hope that this will reduce my opposition to this project to pave such a
town. There is no opposition for the work or progress yet your mistake, in
my judgement, to not wait for the Allies triumph when one has already
surrendered to the brutal enemy who has advanced across Europe,
continued victorious with a look to crush the next ally and to conquer the
South Americas whose lands have no population or industry outside cattle
ranching and agriculture and without sufficient military forces to secure a
national defense.
They (the Nazis) pretend to dominate civilize under their superior race
order over other races – that enemy of the French, British, Americans and
Argentina. Yes, you know the direction of the National Parks who wants to
construct pavements will only welcome the motorized troops. I request to
wait for better times for this construction and that the institutions think
about our sovereign right that many great figures of the world feel
threatened.”

EDITOR NOTE – Apparently, this lady was unaware that the Wehrmacht,
the German Armed Forces, had trained and outfitted the Argentine military.
These troops on maneuvers in Argentina are
not Wehrmacht (German military), they are Argentine troops in
German uniforms with German equipment and being trained by German
soldiers.

The Possibility to Live in Deepest
Argentina
El Bolson, the Black River – was an intelligent ultra-Catholic who was
condemned to death by the French for helping the Nazis during World War
Two. He escaped Europe after the Third Reich fell and later moved to a
farmhouse estate to live his final days. It was recorded by home video in the
region that he moved. The man tells his story – this is never released for
showing.

The Swiss Guillermo Roussell, whose history is now known, arrived to the
country in 1949 and he died some years later in the local region where his
past was never known. The film was recorded in 1995 by the American
student Joshua Goltz. In the film, recently discovered, Roussell tells the
story of SS Captain (Hauptsturmführer) Herbert Habel.

This SS Hauptsturmführer (Captain) Herbert Habel, who entered Argentina

under the false name of Kurz Repa. He was discovered a few years ago in
El Bolson. He conceded on making interviews that created great turmoil.
Both he and Guillermo Roussell told their pasts, both familiar in style since
both wanted refuge in Argentina; their past a condition they did not want to
be known. For this reason, the movie “The Awakening of Bariloche” never
was utilized – only by an American group from Haverford College. They
analyzed the phenomenon of the post-war, particularly in Argentina.

In the movie, Rouselli recogn ized that ‘he was condemned to death in
France’ and for that reason he said he wanted to escape. Using a false
name, so to avoid being detained by the Allies he said,

“I didn’t want any trouble. I wanted to retire. How I did it– in the deep
ofArgentina.”

He lived on a farm estate near Lago Puelo about 10 km from El Bolson. He

continued,
“I left France before they could trap me because I knew I was condemned
to death. Many of us were condemned to death and I was condemned for
sharing Intel with the enemy. The French came looking for me for giving
information to the Nazis but France was not the enemy of Germany.
Because Germany had invaded France during the war but then hostilities
ended.”

Rouselli was born in 1908, was a lawyer and a member of ‘The Commission
of Judeo-Masonic Studies’ in Paris. In those days, he worked in the National
Library in Paris with Bernard Fye who was President of the Commission.

This group of intellectuals had studies to ‘close secret societies’ that

functioned in Paris. They recorded all documents, books pertaining to all
secret sects and especially the Masons. They were archived in France under
the supervision of Fye and Rouselli.

During his last days in Paris, Rouselli confirmed that the Allies went to his
apartment in that city where they planted false papers against him, thereby
making it easy to condemn him. Rouselli managed to get a Red Cross
passport and managed to escape. This was not difficult because he was the
main official of the Red Cross in Paris.

Rouselli was born in Switzerland to a French mother and a Mexican father.

He became a lawyer in Switzerland specializing in Constitutional Law, right
to the University of Berlin. During the war, he functioned as the Chief
Executive of the Historical Archives of the National Library of Paris.
France then condemned him of collaboration with the Nazis during the
occupation of Paris.

After the war, Rouselli returned to his native Switzerland under the use of a
false name because he did not want to be captured by the Allies. Once in
Switzerland, he could enjoy living a good life. He then decided to move to
South America.

He told the American Joshua Goltz in 1995;

“I crossed the great St. Bernard Pass, the frontier of Switzerland to Italy. I
was lucky because I met a classmate in the mountains. Then a religious
group also helped me. They told me that tomorrow is the fiesta of St.
Bernard. Let’s go to Italy. That’s how I crossed the frontier without
documentsand arrived to Italy.”

Rouselli also stated that he was wearing the garb of a priest to easily mix
with the group and was able to cross the frontier without any incidents with
authorities. In his escape, Rouselli passed through the local Italian area of
Ravenna and from there, he went to the Argentine consulate. He said,

“I met a girl who taught me a little Spanish and I knew some already.”
That woman gave him an address of one of her cousins living in Argentina,
in Buenos Aires, and that helped him a lot at that time.

The Swiss recorded this about his escape;

“Finally Rouselli embarked in 1949 in the port of Genoa en route to
Buenos Aires. He had a very solid thinking, a very ultra Catholic. He
decided to live in a desolate place and he chose Lago Puelo about 10
kilometers south of El Bolson where he lived until his death. He wrote about
theology and philosophy until his last days.”

There he met ex-SS Captain Herbert Habel and other immigrants of the
post-war. They all decided on this place to be farfrom the world. ‘In deepest
Argentina’ as Rouselli used to say.

Fridolin Güth
Fridolin Güth prepared paperwork to the Argentine state that his address of
reference was ‘Franz Rubatsher, Hotel San Carlos in Bariloche’. Güth
participated in the failed coup in Vienna, Austria in 1934. In that

coup (putsch) the Chancellor Engelbert died. In 1944 Güth was a member
of the Regiment Company #19 of police in France, in the region of
Annemasse – this is where the partisans were to be eliminated. Austrian

Dollfus

Güth came from Genoa and arrived to Argentina 8 October 1948 in the
steamer PHILLIPI. The Argentine Commission of Nazi Activities
(CEANA) stated:

“If Güth possessed a passport, it was expedited from the

International Commi ttee on the Red Cross.”

This was signed by the Argentine Consul in Genoa. The Argentine records
of his travel show that he entered Argentina with deficient conditions. The
details are never known what deficiencies he had.

In 1960 Güth solicits a travel certificate to move to Europe. He declares

being a German national. The document he has states that he was born in
Munich, Germany. His papers state that he works in Zapiloa 2245 in the
capital of Argentina and that his profession is a businessman. Then later, on
27 September 1971, he requested a certificate to move to Switzerland and in
that document, he stated that he was Austrian.
He worked at ‘ La Granja’ (the Ranch) in Cordoba. Later on, on 26 June
1974, he solicited a new document to move to and travel to Germany. This
time he stated that he was German-Austrian.
Finally on 13 November 1981 he requested a new certificate of travel back
to Switzerland but he died of old age. Güth, like others who entered
Argentina were free to move around. He was registered as a retired
businessman.

EDITOR NOTE – I visited the restaurant founded by Güth and he was

famous for his Black Forest Cake, a real favorite of mine but since he died,
they no longer had this delight. Oh well! People who knew him said he
rarely ever left his restaurant out of fear of being grabbed and returned to
Europe. They said that the only times he left was in the car of his friend, the
German Consul.

There are many stories of Germans of the Third Reich in the Andes and an
example the historians Antolin Diaz Gonzales and Juan Domingo Matamala
tell of the German brothers Jorge and Pablo Hube. This is when the
panzerschiff GRAF SPEE appeared in Monte Video (Uruguay) many
Germans wanted to get back in the war and fight.

EDITOR NOTE – Like anyone in any military, we all took the same oath
that if we were captured or otherwise were out of the action, that it was our
duty to make all attempts to return to our forces. It is the same in any
military.

Some passed through that area and it is said that Hube helped the Germans
with his shortcuts to reach the Pacific in Chile. When it all ended, the Hubes
had to flee. They were investigated and their lands were confiscated.

Abraham Kipp
Born in the Hague on 2 June 1917, Kipp was a police officer during the
occupation of Holland by Germany. He had been in a Dutch prison shortly
after the war but escaped. He was then condemned to death in absentia in
Holland in 1949 and sentenced to death. He had been hiding in Europe but
on 22 August 1948 he escaped to Argentina aboard the steamer VLASA.
Holland requested his extradition without obstructions.
To emigrate to Argentina, he presented to the Argentine Consul in Madrid,
Spain passport #1732148. When he arrived, he found work as a contractor
in San Carlos di Bariloche. On 1 July 1949 he requested identification order
(authorization) and much later on 3 December 1952, a duplicate of same.
On 30 June 1960 he requested a passport to travel to America and to
Western Europe and he declared that he was a naturalized Argentine citizen,
was married and worked at Cangallo 524. Later, in 1968, he declared that
he was a merchant at the address Suipache 472 on the 1st floor.

On the 9th March 1989 the Information Division of the Federal Judge of
San Isidro requested his past travels and copies of his past information.
Holland still asked for extradition in regards to this case, initialed 11 April
1989. He was never found in a country in which he had lived for many
years.

Maler-Kopps
The spy Maler-Kopps was a friend to the Jews. On the 8th of May 1993
during the turmoil of the case of Priebke the spy Maler-Kopps (seen here)
went to the Commissar of Federal Police in Bariloche and made the
following statement:

“ In the city of San Carlos de Bariloche 8th May 1993 at 12 hours the one
recording, Chief in Charge of the subdelegation, Bariloche Subcommissar
Dr. Norberto Orellando, states that Juan Maler presented himself to the title
of this organization to solicit an exposition, spontaneous of his actions

during World War Two on which he says – at the end of the war in 1945 he
met the individual, Captain of the German Intel Service in Austria. He
declares he was a member of the opposition to the Secret Intelligence

The preceding is a fact that must be known to the public and bring to light
true history. He was condemned to death by the governing party for
opposing the occupation of Russia and for saving twenty-five Jews in
October 1944 in Budapest who were scheduled to go to Auschwitz. He gave
them false documents in which Maler informed them of the Intel service of
his unit. What he refers to his death sentence– it means that he was ordered
by the Party and not a tribunal. This is a critical point a German general, he
states,

“W ho said he was Slovenian (Rupnik) in a moment I interceded by means

of an official who was his son, and we lived in Argentina in the area of
Ituzcingo the name Eugene Rupnik, and then he made an ample declaration
where all the facts were presented. Therefore, Maler denounced any Nazi
connections”

Then, after the statement was narrated, about fifteen days before the war
ended, a jeep with four officers of the Party, of the Intel Service, were
looking for him in the valley of Wippacu. This is where he operated with
his unit. He was not found but the order to be shot was now automatic.
When the war ended, he was in Austria close to Klagenfurt and was
captured by the British. His arrest was automatic for any Germans in the
Intelligence Service.

A year had passed and it l ooked like “they had forgotten us”. He lost
patience and he talked to a Jew who was in the detention center. This Jew
did know his past and how he helped other Jews escape. This Jew knew that
he (Maler) went against the Nazi orders. Maler managed to get to Frankfurt
and false documents for travel was the order of the day. Many offices used
false signatures and original seals but the seals were applied to blank
documents.

This created a ‘ Black Market’ and he (Maler) obtained a good document

and then changed his name from Reinhard Kopps to Juan Maler. He bought
this document in Frankfurt from the special offices. He went to Rome then
Argentina in 1947. He then met, by accident, Eugenio Rupnik. Maler stayed
in Olivos in Argentina then to Bariloche in 1951. After diplomatic relations
opened between Argentina and Germany in 1952, Maler went to the
Embassy of Bariloche and Germany and requested to legalize the document
he presented to enter Argentina.

EDITOR NOTE – The reader must keep in mind that this man
(KoppsMaler) came under scrutiny in the early 1990’s and when facing
legal action and deportation, he pointed the finger at Erich Priebke as a
much higher priority target. As the saying goes here, he threw Priebke under
the bus. Kopps-Maler walked free while Priebke was brought back to Rome
and sentenced to life in prison, which he served in an upscale apartment in
Rome.

Maler realized that the changed name in Frankfurt should be Juan Maler.
The German Embassy agreed to accept this name and realized why the
name change was necessary as the name on the German document is Juan
Maler on 11 November 1993 in San Carlos di Bariloche. The General
Delegation Direction (Legal Antecedent Division) granted the statement
given of Juan Reinhard Maler (C.I.G. 414.660) with the given Division of
Antecedents to the facts annexed to the legal person. He wrote;

“ The present motivation was the paper articles that indicated Maler was a
Nazi during the war yet Interpol did not have any information on his Nazi
activities in that respect.”

The Plan to Evacuate Adolf Hitler

Just recently (around 2008 approximately) documents have been discovered

that a secret plan existed for the evacuation of Adolf Hitler which included
Argentina as the destination. Many transfers were made of technical and
scientific personnel from the Third Reich. Since 1944 the Third Reich
began working to protect and evacuate Party officials as well as scientific
and technological people. This plan was prepared in case German lost the
war, and Germany did lose the war.

EDITOR NOTE – By mid-1944 there was no doubt that Germany was

going to lose the war. The only question was…..when would they
capitulate.

Argentina became the main destination as well as other places in the world.
The name of this operation was ‘General Plan’ and the architect of this
operation was Martin Bormann.
A great many rare and important photos are on our website
www.sharkhunters.com then select TOURS then Argentina.

We continue here with the plan to evacuate Adolf Hitler.

___________________________

Details have now surfaced in Europe, since it was previously considered

secret. Exclusive investigations of Europeans visiting Bariloche in order to
find precise information on the reception of that German entourage before
the Axis fell to the Allies.

Today it is known that there was a travel system that the Allies called ‘ The
‘Rat Line’ in order to escape Europe. This included false documents and
other support to facilitate the escape of members of the Third Reich.

The German plan was more complete. It was more than saving people. This
plan had the name ‘Regentröpfchen’ (Rain Drops) and it was considered by
the strategists as a surface operation and it had many networks to save
German finances. The general plan contained two actions. One was
‘Viking’; the other was ‘Läufer’.
The ‘ Viking’ action determined the moving of elite scientists, politicians
and military personal of the Third Reich. They were to move to a safe place.
Under the coordination of Martin Bormann, the program was designed by
German strategist Maximillian Erth in September 1944.

was the Gauleiter of Niederschleisen, Karl Hanke, who was the Chief of the
‘Reichskulturkammer’ (Cultural Chamber of the Reich).

EDITOR NOTE – Constantin Canaris (NSDAP #1,032,858 and SS

#280,262) was head of the SD in Belgium and northern France in 1941 and
later directly under Himmler for Croatia. In April he had a special mission
to the Papal Nuncio in Switzerland to discuss peace talks.
At the start of this action, Philip Bouhler worked actively on this program.
He was the Chief Private Dispatch of Adolf Hitler. Also, SS
Standartenführer (Colonel) Dr. Constantin Canaris (nephew of Admiral
Wilhelm Canaris) and SS Grupenführer (Major General) Dr. Gerhard
Klopfer, the support of ‘Viking’
CORDOBA– and the 2nd action “Läufer”
This was the evacuation of the elite financial companies and it also had the
name ‘Eichhörnchön’ (Squirrel) and was the codename for the German
aristocracy. It is known that the Eichhörn Family, property owners of the
Eden Hotel (photo below) in La Falda, Cordoba was a financial supporter of
Hitler before and during World War Two. For this reason, it is significant
that the name of the operations be so named.

The conclusion of ‘ Läufer’ was the reconstruction of the economic

potential and military Third Reich Government in exile. ‘Läufer’ and
‘Viking’ were prepared only by members of the SS. According to recently
declassified documents, participants included:

• Franz Xavier Schwartz, 3rd Reich Treasurer;

• Franz Hofer, Gauleiter of Tyrol; and
• Ernst Hohenlohe-Langenburg

Hitler with the Eichhorn Family at the Hotel Eden Annex

Hohenlohe-Langenburg was the negotiator to transfer a great deal of

German funds to Switzerland and the name was ‘Spende der deutschen
Wirtschaft ’. These millions was a result to support the new German
economy.

EDITOR NOTE – He was a prince of the royal family and lived from 13
September 1863 to 11 December 1950.

The design and execution of the general plan was to help people of the
Third Reich seek refuge in Argentina. Today, officially, Argentina
investigates the entering of those who escaped Europe after the fall of the
3rd Reich. This operation maintained the secret documentation of the
development of

arms, airplanes and submarines plus other technical and scientific elements
that were kept secret.
EDITOR NOTE – We have reported about Professor Kurt Tank and some
fifty aeronautical engineers who went to Argentina plus Raimer Horten, one
of the famed Horten brothers who built the flying wing jet bomber for the
Luftwaffe and other flying wing aircraft for the Argentine Air Force– his
son and his grandson are both Sharkhunters Members; and we have
reported on the armament manufacturers such as Fritz Mandl of Austria
who continued to make weapons in Argentina. We have more information
on the submarines……..well, we will leave that for another time.

During the war, this JU 390 V-2 made several flights from Norway to the
Japanese Kurile Islands……then one final flight to South America.

They used submarines and one particular airplane, the huge six-engine
Junkers JU 390 V-2 that could travel to South America non-stop. In the last
days of the war, one flight took off from Norway with the destination of
South America with a very special passenger aboard.

EDITOR NOTE – we originally got this information from SEIG Agent

PIZZARRO a few years ago and it was confirmed by SEIG Agent
CALIGULA. In 2016, February I was at the estancia where this plane
landed a short time after the end of the war. I spoke with people who heard
it, heard about and two months ago I was in Buenos Aires and spoke with a
lady whose brother saw several German planes landing. He worked on the
estancia that was owned by Mandl and if you have forgotten, Mandel’s first
wife was Hedwig Eva Marie Keistler who we knew better as Hedi Lamarr.
When a gigantic six engine plane lands in the middle of the night in a quiet,
rural farm community, it makes a lot of noise that is heard by many.
These ladies, and others, living in Colonia de 19 Abril, all heard the plane
land that quiet night in 1945
Above – this gentleman heard the plane Below– the Editor in Chief of the
local newspaper told his thoughts and the history of that night in 1945
This lady ’s father owned the estancia where the plane landed. She was not
born at that time. When asked this question, she had a very nervous laugh
and said that she did not believe that any such plane landed on the estancia,
but then she did admit that there was a report of a plane landing on her
father’s estancia and the Prefect of Police, the“Top Cop” of the area
himself, investigated this report.
She
said all the Prefect of Police found was a small crop-dusting airplane in one
of the barns. Come on – who believes that?

People heard a huge airplane landing in the middle of the night.

• A tiny crop-dusting plane, with one small motor, does not make the same
roar as a huge plane with 6 very powerful engines;

• Crop-dusting planes do not fly in the middle of the night;

• Why did the Prefect of Police, the“Top Cop” of the area, come to
investigate something so simple as a crop-dusting plane?
• Why was this lady so nervous over this question?
Our good friend HECTOR SPINELLI, Member #7940-LIFE, brought me
to visit his buddy Dante and
Dante’s mother. The brother of Rose
Teresa worked on the estancia next
to the estancia where the big plane
landed and he told her about this in
1945 when it landed. Her brother told
her that everyone on that estancia
knew about the plane. The estancia
where her brother worked was owned
by Fritz Mandl and if
forgotten already, he
you have

was the
Austrian arms merchant who fled to
Argentina to make weapons there
and his wife when he was in Austria
was Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler; later known to American movie goers as
Hedy Lamarr.

Conflicting “Eye Witness” of Hitler’s “Suicide”

Hitler’s Death – the Great SSCharade!
S.E.I.G. Agent MICHAEL IVINHEIM has compared accounts of three
“eye-witnesses” to the alleged suicide of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun/Hitler.
When looked individually, it appears an obvious case of suicide as
witnessed by a high-ranking person. However, when the account of one
man is compared to that of the other two, it is obvious that someone is
inventing testimony to make a false story appear true and logical. Here is
what Ivinheim tells us.

_____________________________
Three SS officers entered Hitler's suite at the Reich Chancellery on the
afternoon of 30 April 1945 and saw the bodies of Adolf and Eva Hitler.

The three officers all held the rank of SS-Sturmbannführer (Major). These
persons were:
(i) Otto Günsche, Hitler's SS adjutant.
(ii) Heinz Linge, Hitler's valet.
(iii)Erich Kempka, Hitler's personal driver and head of the motor pool.

Günsche
Linge

Kempka
These three officers subsequently made statements which do not coincide in
the following:

(i) The time of the occurrence.

(ii) Who was where at the time.
(iii)How the suicide was discovered.
(iv)Who entered the suite with whom.
(v) The position of Hitler's body.
(vi) The order in which the two bodies were removed and by whom.
The source material appears in two books:
(i) Heinz Linge: Bis zum Untergang, Wilhelm Goldmann Verlag, 1980 at
p.284-288.
(ii) Erich Kempka: Die letzten Tage mit Adolf Hitler, Deutsche
Verlagsgesellschaft, Preussisch-Oldendorf, 1991 at p.89-96. (iii) In
Kempka's book at p.311-313 is the statemnent made by Günsche in a letter
to Kempka dated 1 July 1975, the year in which Kempka died.

In Kempka, p.93, there appears the sketch of the room in which the alleged
suicides occurred. The room was rectangular, approximately 3 x 2.5 metres.
Entering by the double doors from the ante-room, the visitor faced the long
wall against which the sofa was located. There was an armchair either side
of the sofa. Before the sofa was a table with a vase of flowers. These details
are important for understanding the major discrepancy.

It may be helpful to read the Conclusion at the foot of this article first and
use the three statements to confirm what the Conclusion says. Some
important areas of discrepancy between the accounts are highlighted in the
primary account in block.

. Statement of Kempka. (The following is condensed from 4 pages of

unimportant matter.

Towards midday on 30 April 1945, I was in a little-damaged restroom in the

subterranean garage. I had just come in from outside to oversee the change
of shift. Half an hour later the phone rang. It was Günsche. He said he had
to have 200 litres of petrol. He wanted it immediately at the entrance to the
Führerbunker. I had to stand the world on its head to get it. I said I would
have to go to the underground fuel store at the Zoo for that amount and
suggested that he wait until 1700 hrs when the Russian artillery would be
quieter. Günsche said he had to have it now and hung up. I ordered my
assistants to syphon out what they could find in the vehicles in the garage
bunker and hurried over the rubble to the Führerbunker to find out what was
going on.

I met Günsche in the annex to the situation room as he left the Führersuite. I
asked what was amiss and he said, "The Chief is dead!" Günsche gave me
his story. He said that Bormann, Linge and he, Günsche, had heard the shot
and rushed into the suite at once. The Chief had shot himself in the head
with his pistol and had inclined forward over the table top. Eva Hitler had
taken poison and lay at an angle against the right arm of the sofa beside
him. Her right arm hung over the sofa arm and her revolver (elsewhere he
says "pistol") was on the floor near her. Dr Stumpfegger had certified death.
Goebbels and Axmann were also in attendance.

EDITOR NOTE #1– Please keep in mind they reported that Eva
Braun/Hitler was at the right end of the sofa. It is important.

Stumpfegger Axmann

Immediately after this conversation Linge came out of the Führersuite and
asked where the petrol was. I had just been told by one of my staff that we
had up to 180 litres ready, and so replied, "The petrol is here!" Seconds later
the door to the suite opened again. Dr Stumpfegger and Linge carried out
the body of Adolf Hitler, wrapped in a dark field blanket, through the
anteroom to the corridor. Behind them followed Martin Bormann with the
dead Eva Hitler. She wore a black dress, her blonde head laid back. Eva had
hated Bormann in life. I said to Günsche,

"Help them carry the Chief, I will take Eva."

Then I took her body from Bormann. Her side was wet. Later Günsche told
me that as Hitler fell forward over the table, he had upset the vase of
flowers, and probably the water had splashed her.

Halfway up the twenty bunker steps my strength failed me and Günsche

came back to share the load and help me bring her dead body into the open.
In their haste Dr Stumpfegger and Linge had laid Hitler about 3 metres
away from the bunker entrance. Günsche and I laid Eva Hitler beside her
husband.

EDITOR NOTE– Günsche was a tall and powerful man.

It was getting on for two in the afternoon (p.95 " Inzwischen war es gegen
zwei Uhr nachmittags geworden"). (This was not a typographical error, for
Kempka repeats it):….The cremation lasted from two o’clock in the
afternoon until about 7.30 in the evening. (p.99 “Von mittags gegen 14 Uhr
bus ungefähr 1930 Uhr abends dauerte die Verbrennung an.”)

Statement of Linge

"After the midday meal, Eva Hitler took her leave of me. Then she spoke
with Frau Goebbels while Hitler withdrew to the suite. Günsche had told
me that Frau Goebbels wanted a personal interview with the Führer. I told
Hitler, and he said she should come to the suite. They were alone for a
while. When I entered, Hitler told me to fetch a gold Party badge from one
of his uniforms and he presented it to Frau Goebbels.

EDITOR NOTE – It is understandable they would like some time alone

since Josef Goebbels wrote in his diary that he knew his wife was having an
affair with Hitler and at least one of their children (Holdine) was fathered
by Hitler.
"Immediately after this, Hitler and I went to the waiting room where Dr
Goebbels appeared and made an attempt to convince Hitler to leave Berlin.
Hitler declined, shook Goebbels' hand and then returned to the suite with
me. Now came the last goodbyes, with Flugkapitän Baur and Otto Günsche.
Finally, Hitler gave me a tired look and indicated that he was retiring for the
last time. It was 1515 hrs.

"He told me , "Linge, now I am going to shoot myself," and gave me

instructions on how I was to break out of Berlin. Once he went inside, I shut
the door behind him.
"I walked to the bunker exit, where the SS bodyguard was sitting around.
As I assumed that Hitler would very soon put an end to his life, I did not
stay there long, but went back to the ante-room adjacent to the suite. There I
smelt the smoke from a gun having been discharged.

"I did not feel I could face opening the suite door and going in alone. I went
to the situation room where a group had gathered around Martin Bormann.
They were unaware of what had happened. I gave Bormann a sign and
asked him to accompany me to Hitler's suite. Once there I opened the door
and entered, Borman following...

Adolf and Eva Hitler were seated on the sofa. Both were dead. He had shot
himself in the right temple with his 7.65 mm pistol. This, and the reserve
6.35mm pistol lay on the floor near his feet. His head was inclined a little to
the wall; blood had sprayed on the carpet near the sofa. His wife sat at his
right, her legs drawn up under her. She had taken cyanide. The ampoule lay
on the table.

EDITOR NOTE #2– Keep in mind that it is reported that Hitler shot
himself in the right temple.

I pushed him to one side to make room to work. Bormann went out to find
helpers to carry the bodies. I spread out the blankets, laid the bodies on
them and wrapped them over. I did not look at Hitler's head and so I cannot
say what damage the bullet inflicted.

Eva Hitler was carried out first. Kempke carried her in his arms. I took hold
below Hitler's head, two officers of the escort lifted up the body in its grey
blanket. Like that we carried him out.

Outside the bunker entrance in the Reich Chancellery park we laid him next
to Eva's body in a small depression and poured petrol over them. (Describes
the difficulty in lighting the pyre). The last witnesses, Bormann, Goebbels,
Stumpfeger, Günsche, Kempka and I made a last Hitler salute and returned
inside. I had work to do and so did not see the bodies again. I understand
they were still burning at around 1930 hrs.
bodies again. I understand they were still burning at around 1930 hrs.
Statement of Günsche

"At about nine in the morning of 30 April 1945, I saw Martin Bormann who
informed me that Hitler and his wife intended to commit suicide that day.
ordered that their bodies

The Führer had be incinerated immediately after death. I was to make the
arrangements.

"A little later I was summoned by the Führer. He repeated what Bormann
had said, but made me responsible personally for the bodies of himself and
his wife being burnt beyond recognition.

Earlier photo of Günsche with Hitler

"After arranging for all available petrol supplies to be brought from the
garage complex in the Hermann Göring Strasse, I posted sentries of the
Führer's SS-bodyguard at the entrance to the anteroom. Only Goebbels,
Bormann, Burgdorf, Krebs, Rattenhuber, Mohnke, Linge, Kempka and
myself had access to this ante-room immediately in front of the Führer's
suite.

"Adolf Hitler and his wife took their leave of various close colleagues
between 1430 and 1500 hrs including Goebbels, Frau Goebbels, Bormann
and Burgdorf in a room adjacent to the ante-room. Then they returned to the
Führersuite.
"I stationed myself in immediate proximity to the door to Adolf Hitler's
suite. A short while later the sentry at the anteroom doorway informed me
that Frau Goebbels was waiting at the door and had asked to speak privately
again with the Führer at once. I knocked at the inner door of the suite -
(there was an outer door and inner door) - and Adolf Hitler opened it
himself and said brusquely, "What is it, Günsche?"

"I told him the reason and, apparently annoyed, he went past me to where
she stood in the anteroom. She begged him to leave Berlin. Hitler gave her
a dismissive answer and returned at once to the suite. I closed the double
doors behind him. After that nobody could, or did, enter the private suite of
Adolf Hitler and his wife before their suicide.

"When Bormann, Linge and I opened the double doors to Hitler's suite at
1530 hrs we saw Adolf Hitler sitting in the armchair near the divan on the
left wall in front of us ("...sahen wir Adolf Hitler auf dem an der linken
Wand vor uns, neben dem Divan stehenden Sessel sitzen"). He had slumped
and hung over the right arm of the armchair. His head was inclined to the
side. Blood was dripping from the right temple. One could see immediately
that he had shot himself in the right temple with his PPK 7.65."

EDITOR NOTE - Cracks are appearing in the story already (This

Statement, made in 1975 thirty years after the event, differs substantially
from what Günsche told Kempka immediately after the event in 1945.
Neither statement by Günsche concurs with what Linge stated. In this later
statement, Eva Hitler was alone on the divan, and Hitler was seated in the
armchair between the right side of the divan and the central heating cover
with the photograph of Hitler's mother.)

The Dilemma
You see the dilemma here. HARRY COOPER (1-LIFE-1983) is
absolutely certain that Adolf Hitler did NOT die in Berlin but lived out his
normal life in Argentina. On the other hand, here we have testimony of
three SS officers who were in the bunker and say they saw Adolf and Eva
Hitler’s dead bodies.

It’s all clear in the conclusions of SEIG Agent MICHAEL IVINHEIM

which you will read on the next page.
Did Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun-Hitler die in the bunker as accepted history
tells us– or is COOPER’s research accurate?

In his extensive research, interviewing people, gathering many facts from

SEIG Agents PIZZARRO, TIGER, SECOND SON and many others plus
using the thousands of pages of documents gathered by SEIG Agent
TAUCHER there can be no doubt that Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun/Hitler
did not die in the Führerbunker. DON ANGEL ALCAZAR de VELASCO
(158-1985) told this story and he was backed up by US Naval Intelligence
Officer Captain ROBERT THEW (333-1987). But now we look at the
testimonies of three honorable SS officers and they tell that they are eye
witnesses to the death of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun/Hitler in the bunker.

OceanofPDF.com
Bunker Suicide False Trail
MICHAEL IVINHEIM removes the riddle and again, proves that the story
of the suicide in the bunker is a false trail. He tells us:

CONCLUSION
Here we have a charade in which three SS-officers even long after the war
fail to collaborate to get their story straight regarding the events of the
afternoon of 30 April 1945 in the Berlin bunker.

All three men held equal rank – that of SSSturmbannführer. Linge (left)
was Hitler's valet, Günsche was Hitler's SS adjutant and Kempka Hitler's
personal driver and head of the motor pool. The statements of Linge and
Kempka appear in their own books listed. Günsche's 1975 statement
appears
book. Kempka also
in Kempka's reports what

Günsche told him immediately after "Hitler shot himself".

The account of Linge is so worded as to eliminate Günsche from the scene

as from 1515 hrs when Hitler said his last goodbye to Günsche, i.e. a
quarter of an hour before he alleges that he (Linge) and Bormann entered
the Führersuite. According to Linge, there was no guard posted at the doors
to the Führer's suite or anteroom.
The area was deserted. At the critical time, he had absented himself and
gone to the entrance to the Führerbunker for an unspecified reason. He
returned to the suite area and became aware, from the odour of the burnt
powder passing through the double doors to the suite that a gun had been
discharged inside. He alerted Bormann in the situation room, and both men
entered the Führersuite together. They saw the couple dead on the sofa.
Linge says that the body of Eva Braun was carried out first. The porters
were Linge and two officers of the escort, although the other accounts say
Linge and Dr Stumpfegger.
They laid Hitler's body next to his wife outside the bunker entrance, i.e her
body was already there when Hitler's body was brought out.

The alleged death scene. Look to EDITOR NOTE #1 on page 166. It was
reported that Eva was seated at the right end of the sofa, but in this photo,
that is where all the blood spatters are.
Then look to EDITOR NOTE #2 on page 168 in which it is reported that
Hitler shot himself in the right temple. If that is accurate, how then did the
blood spatters end up on the right side? If Hitler were seated on the left and
shot himself in the right temple, the blood spatters would have gone to his
left, not to the right as shown here.

Kemka driving Hitler and Mussolini

In his account, Günsche reports that he posted sentries of the SS bodyguard

at the entrance to the anteroom before 1430 hrs, and he stationed himself in
immediate proximity to the doors to Hitler's suite, and was there at all times
prior to the event. He had told Kempka in 1945 that he, Bormann and Linge
all heard the shot, and this was the reason why they entered the suite
together.

Linge states that he did not hear the shot, but rather he smelled gunsmoke.
He saw no SS bodyguards, nor Günsche, outside the Führer's suite and the
anteroom, that was why he went to fetch Bormann.

Günsche told Kempka originally in 1945 that Hitler and Eva Hitler had died
on the sofa together, and Hitler must have overturned the vase of flowers
when he collapsed over the tabletop. By Günsche's 1975 statement, Hitler
could not have overturned the vase if he had been in the armchair to the
right of the divan - but even if Hitler had slumped over the tabletop from
the sofa to knock over the vase, how did he get back from the tabletop to
the side of the sofa after he shot himself?

Kempka's account begins by saying that the body of Hitler was brought out
first by Linge and Dr Stumpfegger, then came the body of Eva Hitler which
he carried himself with the aid of Bormann and later Günsche. They laid the
body of Eva Hitler beside her husband, whereas Linge says that he laid the
body of Adolf Hitler beside his wife, and they cannot both have been right.
Moreover, Kempka says that the suicides occurred before two o'clock
whereas Linge and Günsche, and Bormann in a later signal to Dönitz, all
have the "time of death" as being later than 3:30.

In my opinion, either these officers were all stupid, or this is an SS charade

which contains a message. And that message says; you cannot believe what
we say about the suicide of Adolf Hitler and his wife.

The Very Strange Death of Otto Günsche

According to S.E.I.G. Agent NIGHTINGALE, Günsche (left) was in

perfect health when he celebrated his 88th birthday. About ten days later, his
housekeeper found him in the sauna at 9am and he had been there since the
previous afternoon with the temperature set at 85º Celsius! That is about
185º Fahrenheit! Perhaps he was ready to reveal the truth to the world and
had to be silenced.
Of course, it could simply have been a heart attack as reported………

About the Editor

Born and raised in Chicago and the western suburbs, Harry Cooper joined
the US Air Force right out of high school. After six months intensive
training in special weapons (hydrogen bombs) at Lowry Air Force Base
(Denver) he was mis-assigned to Chanute Air Force only 100 miles from
his home. To his very good luck, he was assigned to the base swimming
pool as a lifeguard, working one day on and one day off, making it easy to
go home every second day. When the summer ended, he was transferred to
an active base and was assigned to the 98th Bomb Wing at Lincoln Air
Force Base just outside Lincoln, Nebraska.

After spending two and a half years working with special weapons and
since he always wanted to be a fighter pilot, he applied for Officer
Candidate School as he neared his 21st birthday. He was the only one of 30
who passed the tough two-day long battery of tests and he was assigned an
OCSclass. His pilot’s physical gave him a clean slate to fly, but luck was
not with him. The Air Force was so overloaded with pilots from World War
II and Korea that Air Cadets was shut down. He could be an officer but not
a pilot. That is not what he wanted.

He was then honorably discharged from the Air Force and went to college
where he earned his BS in Business Administration and began his career in
the Chicago area. Since he could not enter aerial combat, he chose the next
best thing – he went into auto racing! He first tried his hand at drag racing
and while driving

for a friend, he was Class Champion 11 times out of 22 – pretty good. But
the following year, he drove his own car and out of the next 26 weeks, he
was Class Champion 26 times and Little Stock Eliminator four times,
setting some national records along the way.
Then his heart turned to the oval tracks and after three successful years at
the short tracks around Chicago, where he was a racing news sportscaster
on the “Motorsports International” television show, he moved up to the big
tracks (photo prev. page) racing against A. J. Foyt, the Unser Brothers,
Johnny Rutherford and other great racers. He was a Features Editor at Stock
Car Racing Magazine during his racing years doing ‘behind the wheel’
racing reports as well as monthly columns for major American and
Australian racing magazines and was an executive for a Chicago firm.
Things changed drastically for him in 1976. His crew chief left for a job in
the normal world, his assistant crew chief quit to open his own auto parts
store and his best crew member quit to join the Air Force. While running
the 1976 Texas 500 in the lead pack, his engine blew! On the way back to
Chicago, the engine in the transporter truck blew. It was not a good sign.
The final straw was when he got to the office the next day and found that
his superior had left the company and his new boss was a corporate
executive for whom Harry had no respect. Time for a change!

It really was time for a major change, so Harry sold everything, bought a
30-foot sailing yacht and went to live the quiet life in the Florida Keys and
the Bahamas. This was to change his life and in fact, the history of the War
At Sea itself. It was there he became interested in the U-Bootwaffe.
While cruising in the southern Bahamas, Harry stopped at a strange island
that had been a working plantation during the war years. There were the
ruins of a mansion atop a hill, the remains of a barracks building and a radio
shack nearby. The caretaker told him that a few German U-Boats had
stopped there for fresh water during the war. That put the hook in Harry and
once he returned to Chicago, he began to intensively research the U-Boat
portion of WW II and has

become theworld’s preeminent expert on the subject.

Here is what was found on Darby Island and

photographed by Cooper
Returning to the business world, he became Regional Vice President for a
major company in Chicago but founded Sharkhunters in 1983. By mid1987,
he realized that it would be impossible to keep a regular job and then spend
all the time necessary to contact the veterans, dig in the files, visit the
veterans to interview them and all the other tasks necessary to preserving
this history honestly. He made a tough decision.

On a Friday in July, he turned in the keys to his six offices around Illinois
and quit his high-paying executive job, just two weeks after getting a nice
raise in salary. His wife of just two years was most surprised with this
decision and even more surprised (maybe even shocked) to learn that they
were moving to Florida to do this research full time and at no salary. She
was not convinced at all, since they were to have their first child in less than
four months and now there was no insurance, no security - but this had to
be done!
Fortunately, it succeeded and Sharkhunters has the great distinction of being
the only real source for the history of the WW II U-Bootwaffe.

Harry is a LIFE member of the Adventure r’s Club in Chicago (former

Editor of the newsletter), member of the Chicago Press Club and the
International Press Club of Chicago and the Explorer’s Club. He wrote
more than three dozen books, helped produce several television productions
and escorted dozens of history tours around the world.

Harry is liste d in “Who’s Who in America” as well asin “Who’s Who of

American Business Leaders” and in 2006 was nominated as“Man of the
Year” by the American Biographical Institute. He spent twelve years with
the United States Coast Guard (Aux.) achieving the position of Flotilla
Commander with a rank similar to a full Lieutenant. With this research,
Harry has met and become friends with most of the surviving Skippers,
many of the officers and crewmen from the U-Bootwaffe as well as
American sub vets and world leaders from the US, the former Soviet Union
and modern-day Russia.

About Sharkhunters
Founded in February 1983, Sharkhunters International is the first, the best
and the only accurate and official source of published history on the U-
Bootwaffe. The reason is simple; the data not only comes from official files
and documents but it also comes from the memories of those who lived this
war. The top Skippers, many of the officers and crewmen of the U-
Bootwaffe were participating Members as were a great many Allied
personnel including the four Medal of Honor American submarine Skippers

Sharkhunters ‘Patrols’and ‘Expeditions’

In addition to publishing the most historically accurate information on the
history of the U-Bootwaffe and the men who fought the war on both sides,
Sharkhunters also organizes tours to many historic places for our Members.
For instance:

Bunker Patrol from Berlin east to Warsaw.

Destroyed HQ of the OKW Abandoned fortress in Poland
Gun bunker overlooking the Baltic

Wolfsschanze (Wolf’s Lair)

Sharkhunters does not merely use files and documents in our research but
we go to the places where this history took place. We videotape, shoot still
photos and we walk in the footsteps of history. During this ‘Patrol’ we slept
in the SS officers’ barracks at Hitler’s Wolfsschanze, the (Wolf’s Lair),
where the assassination attempt was made on Hitler in 1944. Sharkhunters
was there.

The Southern Redoubt/Fortress Area

The Allies feared the leaders of the Reich would make a desperate last ditch
stand in the Bavarian Alps at the Obersalzberg with its bunkers, tunnels and
fortifications, some of which are still undiscovered today.

Thousands of important men of the Third Reich escaped Germany in
various ways but almost all of them departed from places like Villagarcia in

“Hitler In Argentina”
“ Hitler in Argentina” relates the historically accurate escape of Hitler, Eva
Braun, Martin Bormann and many other high ranking figures of the Third
Reich with top secret Abwehr and Kriegsmarine charts as well as files from
the OSS, FBI and various other Intel organizations.

This book is the faithful transcription of a letter from a man, a Sharkhunters

Member, who was a World War Two German agent and a smuggler of
“special” people. He even had a code name. This was Don Angel Alcazar
de Velasco and he told us howhe helped Hitler’s second in command,
Martin Bormann, safely to Argentina - and how he met with Hitler again in
1952.

He reported that the de ad “Hitler” was a double and that he personally saw
the real Hitler forcibly drugged by orders of Martin Bormann and removed
from the Führerbunker. We checked him out thoroughly and found him to
be exactly who he said he was. This data combined with hundreds of files
from the United States National Agencies countries makes this story
absolutely factual.

and again in 2009 Cooper was at the estate where Hitler lived in Patagonia
from 1945 until 1955 then to the hotels he frequented in Cordoba until his
passing in the early 1960’s.

“Hitler and the Secret Alliance”

“We shall never forget, nor be able to repay, the immense debt of gratitude
we owe to our comrades of the German Army.”

This was part of a speech made by General Juan Perón – on 4 April 1952!
What was the connection between the Third Reich and the Argentine
strongman? It’s in this book.

The European
conflict
World
of

War
Two ended in early May 1945, but not all
Germans remained to suffer their fate at the
hands of the victorious and in many cases,
the brutal Allies. There were thousands of
high ranking Party members, SS officers,
spies, agents, scientists, engineers and all
manner of the elite of the Reich who
escaped the crumbled Europe in favor of a
fresh start in South America, primarily
Argentina.

In this book, researcher Michael Ivinheim reveals what his exhaustive

researcher has discovered about the “Black Boats” that figure prominently
into the history – not the END of the Third Reich but the RELOCATION of
the Third Reich. This book tears away the veil of secrecy of the history of
what really happened to the Third Reich.

“The U-Boat War in Photos”
This is a series of library quality reference books about the U-Boat War.
Each U-Boat is covered and we list the Type it is, what yard built her, her

with their promotions, awards and some facts on some not available
anywhere else.
Her

These are large (8½ x 11 inches) books, about 300 pages and loaded with
more photos than we can count.

“Rise and Fall of the UBootwaffe”

Germany was designing and building U-Boats in secret long before the
outbreak of the Second World War. They had false companies set up in
other European countries under cooperation between Krupp’s Germania
Werft and the German Navy, not yet called the Kriegsmarine. Various world
navies placed orders with these shell companies for submarines and the
German submarine industry learned.

German U-Boats were in combat and sinking ships some three years before
World War Two began! In this book you will read the actual oath these
UBootfahrer swore for their secret missions– and you will walk through the
modified U-234 with her secret cargo of scientists, technicians, a Luftwaffe
general with his staff plus high tech weaponry…..uranium.
The answers are in this book. Insights by Großadmiral Karl Dönitz are in
this book as well as Germany’s aid to Generalissimo Franco in the Spanish
Civil War during the operation named for the daughter of Dönitz.

Why was Germany vigorously involved in building U-Boats in

contravention to the edicts of the brutal Treaty of Versailles? How was it
kept secret from the rest of the world? Why did Germany enter World War
Two so poorly prepared for submarine warfare and what contributed to her
loss?

slipped the chains of gravity and soared high above the earth on their wings
and dreams. Some returned covered in glory – many did not return at all.

There books contain first person memories of Luftwaffe American

Royal Air Force and Royal Navy pilots– fliers of many nations pilots,
pilots,
are included here as well as some technological insights into the planes, the
powerplants and the weaponry they carried.

Some memories will make you ache to turn back the clock to those days of
glory– some will bring a tear to your eye for a brave flier who did not return
while a few will make you all but collapse with laughter!

There are stories of the war t hat you’ve never read; hundreds of photos
many of which you have never seen; stories from the greatest fighter pilots
of all time and really funny memories of some very strange planes.
Strap on your parachute and helmet, climb into your P-38, your Me 109,
your La-5 or whatever is your favorite warbird and fly along with us on this
mission back into military aviation history and memories.

These men will never come our way again; this kind of man vs. man
combat in the skies has faded into history forever. Relive it in these books.

“Kassel 1939”
“The First Warrior’s Convention of Greater Germany”

Germany and Austria had just reunited

during the “Anschluß” forming
“Großdeutschland” or Greater Germany and
there was great pride in this
accomplishment. The city of Kassel hosted
the first Greater German Reich Warriors’
gathering on the weekend of 2– 4 June
1939. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers
came from all parts of the Reich on more
than 120 special trains and hundreds of
thousands citizens swelled the group to more
than half a million. Kettles of one thousand
liters each dished out three hundred sixty
thousand meals daily – this was a demonstration of power!

Germany was destroyed – devastated, broken and helpless under the

victorious Allied powers after World War One and Germany was allowed
only a token military. By 1939 however, Germans held their head up
proudly – they had their dignity back!

Return with us now to a time when national pride and patriotism was at its
zenith in Germany as well as in many other nations. The Reich was forged
in a fire never before witnessed in the civilized world.

This book is a compilation of 100 rare photos of this massive event that
haven’t been seen since the end of World War Two. One of our European
Members found these extremely rare photos and sent them to us for this
book. It is pure history!

“Rare U-BOATTypes”
The U-Bootwaffe of the Kriegsmarine had the largest submarine Force ever
in history, before or since World War Two.

The Types VII and Type IX with all of their

variants are well known, and there were
hundreds of these Types built. They cruised
the world’s oceans with great success and will
be the subject of other books in the near future.
In this book we look at U-Boats that were produced in limited numbers as
well as boats that the Kriegsmarine thought about, planned, built and
experimented with, including some that were far advanced for their time.
They were quickly scooped up by the victorious Allies and went to the
USA, to England and to the Soviet Union for testing and evaluation.

This book tells about those rare Types and included photos of the boats and
the Skippers, some never seen before, as well as Turmabzeichen (conning
tower emblems) along with the dates of launch, commissioning, their final
fates as well as any ships they sank during their career.

This book gives details of the rare U-Boats Types like no other before. We
know of no other book that gives all this history.

Keep checking our website www.sharkhunters.com as we are coming out

with a few new books each year…………facts and history that you can’t
get anywhere else. This all came from the veterans themselves.

Send an email to [email protected] with

your name and we will send the current issue of
our KTB Magazine to you by return email at no
