INTRODUCTION
This briefing notes discusses the importance to Corjetz of demonstrating corporate social
responsibility to its stakeholders.
Shareholders
Demonstrating CSR is of utmost importance to Corjetz, and this must set within context of our
financial responsibilities to shareholders. Due to which investors will prefer investing in Corjetz.
This may lead to reduction in our costs of capital and make it easy to raise finance in future.
As a good corporate citizen, we are likely to attract more investors particularly ethical investors who
are interested in and wishes to be associated with socially responsible business, Ethical investors
are growing in number and we could take advantage of this if we operate sound CSR policies.
Staff
Puuting people first is one our ccore values. We encourage staff to work in local commmunity
which benefits them and committed to developing our staff at all levels of the organisation. This will
lead to better retention and motivation of staff leading better performance.
While our talent management programe in currently operating and wer are committed to make
Corjetz a great place to work. This will help retain staff and we will be able to attract talented and
recruit better resource.
Customers
Demonstrating CSR is important for us in the context of delivering services responsibly to
customers. This should help us encourage customer loyalty and interest if we are seen as strong
corporate citizens. We have invested fuel efficient aircraft to minimise the consumption of fuel and
in reducing emissions.
Suppliers
Corjetz is a leading way in working with suppliers and maintaining strong relationship to develop
the latest technology and ways of working to address all the environmental impacts.
Society/community
Corjetz have taken active and meaningful role in reducing emissions, eliminating waste and
minimising noise pollution. We feel proud to work in local communities and do not hesitate to
actively contribute to community projects and we also make donations to several charities. Our
work which we do in community shows our own commmitement to demostrate CSR in our
industry.
Having a positive impact on the society/community and acting as a good corporate citizen improves
our relationships with the wider community. Additionally, interest in our activities could attract more
customers. Having strong relationship with our community could also give us competitive edge over
ther rival businesses.
