EVENT SYNOPSIS
 “Sar fakr se uth jata hai, jab jab tiranga lehrata hai.”

Independence Day marks the commemoration of a free and independent Indian nation. The
day that fills the heart and souls of Indian citizens with pride and respect for their
Motherland. In light of the completion of 75 glorious years of independence, the Azadi Ka
Amrit Mahotsav initiative was taken by the Government of India. Following this, our
honourable Prime Minister announced the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in which he
encouraged the Indians to hoist and honour the National Flag. As per the campaign, the
volunteers were stimulated to log in to [Link] and pin the Flag of our
nation, following which they received certificates that acknowledged their efforts.
Furthermore, the volunteers were encouraged to either click a picture or record a video while
hoisting the national flag. The volunteers were provided with a period of 10 days (August 1,
2022-August 10, 2022) to perform this task. The campaign ignited patriotism among the
students and the response received was overwhelming.

The Tri-colour flag is an emblem of pride for every Indian. It symbolizes national integrity
and exemplifies the hopes and aspirations of the Indians. “When we honour our flag, we
honour what we stand for as a Nation -- freedom, equality, justice, and hope.” The spirit
behind hoisting our National Flag is the amalgamation of India and its rich history, diverse
population, magnificent culture, and great achievements.

NSS VIPS was fortunate to have indulged and glorify

the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. We took a step forward
and celebrated the campaign with zeal and enthusiasm.
The campaign was a success because of the joint efforts made by the team. And it all tog ether
added to the patriotic spirit of the 75th Independence Day.
