GUIDELINES AND STRUCTURE FOR THE SEMESTER PROJCECT

1. General
1. Indigenous (National) or international Project will be assigned to apply elements
of Project Management plan.
2. Consider yourself as a Project team for your assigned project
3. Build the physical model for your chosen project
2. Learning Outcomes
1. Effectively develop and design projects.
2. Optimally allocate and utilize the organizational resources
3. Effectively handle the Project trade-offs among time, cost and performance
4. Exhibit effective decision making, team management and leadership traits by
utilizing relevant tools and techniques.
5. Calculate time, cost and performance variances and implementing the Lessons
Learned.
3. Objectives
1. To understand PM operations in real time projects
2. To experience project development approaches in Mega projects
3. To gain knowledge of Risk management approaches and their application in high
profile projects

5. Group project and 06 students per group
6. Report must be in MS Word or PDF format only and Presentation in MS
PowerPoint.
7. No word limit for report but final report must include all the key concepts
guided during semester. Presentations slides must not be more than 20.

8. Project presentations and report submission:


a. In 14th lecture report submission
b. In 15th Lecture Presentations.
9. Grading criteria includes; application of PM concepts according to the
scenario and justification of chosen methodologies.
10.Must include cover page contains Project Name, Group members names and
Submission date. Formatting must be as per Szabist policy
11. 10 Marks for write up and 05 Marks presentation
12.Presentation attire must be formal
