Learning Environment Safe and Conductive)
NOTICE
Unlike the traditional face-to-face classroom, online or virtual environment is a bit
difficult to manage. It is because Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is imaginary and
not in the physical sense. It has no corners or walls and it can be set up with the support
of technology.
As a teacher, what have you discovered to be easy to implement in your virtual class?
As an observer in an online class, I discovered that online classes are difficult
to manage, but we must find a solution. Even though everything is done online,
the first thing I'll do is establish rules and controls. My students' participation
will be recorded, and I will use synchronize and offbeat to give them enough
time to finish their activities. The thought is that it would be fantastic for three
times its current price.
How did the students show their active participation in the lesson?
Students demonstrate active participation in the lesson by arriving on time for
an online virtual class and always participating in the class by raising their hands
or clicking the raise hand icon. They also, though not always, pay close attention,
ask probing questions, and actively participate in all activities.
ANALYZE
Which of the following is/are your analysis/analyses of on-line learning environment?
Check one or more.
_✓_ It was difficult to observe the physical behavior of the students.
_✓_ It takes time for students to learn how to use the platform.
_✓_ Students who are alone in their home space find difficulty to make responses.
_✓_ Internet connectivity is a great factor to support a conducive environment.
REFLECT
As a future teacher I feel that on-line learning environment can be safe if
The instructor employs appropriate innovation. We knew it was critical to define
online security for students so they know what to avoid and report when doing
classwork online. This understanding equips students with the knowledge and
skills they will need to develop secure online habits in the future. It also teaches
students how to use the internet responsibly and ethically, which can help them
stay safe even when they are not doing schoolwork. This is, in my opinion,
instructive.
I think that teaching in a virtual learning environment
Will be interesting and exciting for me because I will be able to present my
lessons using a variety of software apps and online tools. On the other hand, I
believe virtual teaching is complicated because I only have a basic
understanding of how to use digital learning platforms. As a result, I'll have to
go to webinars or seminars to learn how to use those apps.
WRITE ACTION RESEARCH PROMPTS
OBSERVE
Identify the problems brought about by the on-line learning environments.
Social Isolation.
Limited access to technology.
Individuals who are computer illiterate are unable to access the system.
REFLECT
How would you solve this problem?
This problem could be solved in the classroom by implementing a strong
innovation integration strategy. When implementing learning innovation, I was
aware that there are factors beyond the instructors' control. External challenges
must be addressed at the organizational level, and most changes are ongoing.
The access restriction refers to problems caused by a lack of hardware or a
network. Implementing instructional innovation is only possible if a teacher's
school has adequate resources and a fast internet connection. During this time
of crisis, the government must assist our students in coping. I agree that no one
should be denied education, even if we are in an emergency, because children
are our hope for a better future.
PLAN
What initial plan do you intend to do to solve the problem?
According to experts, the most important thing is to stay in touch with teachers
and keep them up to date on what's going on. They should be understanding and
accommodating of the situation, even recording course sessions as a backup.
Encourage students to do their best and avoid distractions; try to stay away from
anything that could interfere with your learning. There are various stages at
which you can engage and communicate with you. To avoid missing live
lectures or sessions, make sure to plan breaks and stick to your learning schedule.
Furthermore, all you may need at home is a high-speed internet connection.
Keep in mind where you can get assistance from your organization, as well as
any specialized issues with software and devices for compelling learning.
Students should have access to support devices that can help them investigate
specialized issues via phone, mail, or live chat. You should keep your instructor
in mind throughout the problem-solving process.
