Opening Prayer Invite a student to lead the class in prayer.
Title: "Family Activity Brainstorm"
Ask students to write down on a piece of paper the physical activities they usually do with their family.
Let them share their answers with the class.
Introductory Activity
Processing Questions:
What are some of the common physical activities you do with your family?
How do these activities make you feel?
Activity Title: "Physical Activity Planning"
1. Divide the class into small groups.
2. Each group will choose one physical activity (e.g., hiking, swimming, playing a sport) and create a plan for how a family could engage in it
together.
3. The plan should include:
The type of activity
The benefits for the family
How each family member can participate
4. Groups will present their plans to the class.
Processing Questions:
What makes physical activities enjoyable when done with family?
How can families benefit from spending time together through physical activities?
Facilitate a class discussion using the following questions:
Why is it important to spend time with family through physical activities?
Analysis
How do physical activities help improve communication and trust within the family?
What challenges might families face in doing physical activities together, and how can they overcome them?
Summarize the discussion points:
Engaging in physical activities as a family strengthens relationships through shared experiences.
Abstraction
Physical activities promote communication, reduce stress, and create lasting memories.
Simple activities like walking or playing games can have a significant impact on family wellness.
Title: "Family Activity Challenge"
1. Ask students to create a weekly schedule of physical activities they can do with their family.
Application 2. The schedule should include different activities for each day of the week (e.g., Monday: Family walk, Wednesday: Playing a game, Saturday:
Learning Tasks Hiking).
3. Students should discuss their schedule with their family and encourage them to participate.
Sharing: Invite a few students to present their schedules and explain how they will implement them.
