CHAPTER-1
1.1 INTRODUCTION
This website aims to provide information on all the sports cars developed
and build by the automobile company. This website is all about this online
automobile company which deals with the world top sports car. Here user
can watch all the information regarding the car that they want to purchase or
can also compare that car with the other one. We provide the best cars to
our customers for their better visiting experience to our site. Here user can
also book their car with our online booking form facility.

Beauty is in the beholder's eye. So while designing a car we put more

attention towards its interior and exterior look. Interior design/quality gets
more attention, not in the sense of design but in terms of materials and the
feel of controls and handles.

Safety is highly weighted in most categories, especially in sports cars.

Sportscars.com cannot designate a vehicle as safe or unsafe, but we
interpret crash-test ratings and audit safety features. We take crash-test
scores assigned by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety much more
seriously than those of our federal government's National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration.

Due to the rollover risk in SUVs, the most important features considered are
rollover mitigation systems, electronic stability systems and side curtain-type
airbags. In small vehicles, side-impact airbags and curtains are highly
weighted, as they often prove to be the difference between a Poor and a
Good IIHS rating for a particular model. Sports cars are the category for
which safety carries the least weight, in keeping with consumer priorities.
However, no vehicle with weak crash-test ratings is eligible for any Best Bet.

Ownership cost/reliability is another important consideration because low

ownership cost can easily compensate for a higher sale price. Aside from
being a drag, repairs are a significant component. For reliability data, we rely
on J.D. Power and Associates' Mechanical Reliability Ratings and Consumer
Reports' Reliability Histories. Other factors in cost of ownership include fuel
economy, required fuel grade (octane) and insurance costs.

Acceleration gets the most weight among sporty cars, but all vehicles can be
classified in one of three categories: not quick enough, quick enough and
more than quick enough, with consideration given to the issue of load
whenever possible. Most vehicles on the road are, at minimum, quick enough
if you're not a lead foot. Transmission performance is also an issue, and
automatics that are unrefined or slow to react are graded harshly.

Choices are important in the battle for an overall Best Bet because we at
sportscars.com know that the right car for you isn't automatically the right
one for someone else. A model that comes with multiple engine and
transmission choices, for example, has definite advantages. An automaker
might give you one large engine for the price of a competitor's vehicle with a
smaller standard engine. To some, this is an advantage, but if you want to
pay less at the pump, the lack of engine choices is a disadvantage to you.
CHAPTER-2

2.1 Feasibility study

Feasibility is the determination of whether or not a project is worth doing the process followed
making this determination is called feasibility study. This determines if a project can and should
be taken. Once it has been determined that a project is feasible, the analyst can go ahead and
prepare the project specification which finalizes project requirements. Generally, feasibility
studies are undertaken within right time constraints and normally culminate in a written and oral
feasibility report. The contents and recommendations of such a study will be used as a sound
basis for deciding whether to proceed, postpone or cancel the project. Thus, since the feasibility
study may lead to the commitment of large resources, it becomes necessary that it should be
conducted competently and that no fundamental errors of judgment are made.

There are following types of inter-related feasibility

 technical feasibility
 Operational feasibility
 Economic feasibility
 Schedule feasibility
 Cultural feasibility
 Financial feasibility

2.2 Technical feasibility

This assessment is based on an outline design of system requirements, to determine whether the
company has the technical expertise to handle completion of the project.
2.3 Economic feasibility
The purpose of the economic feasibility assessment is to determine the positive economic
benefits to the organization that the proposed system will provide. This assessment typically
involves a cost/ benefits analysis.
2.4Operational feasibility
Operational feasibility is a measure of how well a proposed system solves the problems, and
takes advantage of the opportunities identified during scope definition and how it satisfies the
requirements identified in the requirements analysis phase of system development
2.5 Schedule feasibility
A project will fail if it takes too long to be completed before it is useful. Typically this means
estimating how long the system will take to develop, and if it can be completed in a given time
period using some methods like payback period.
2.6 Cultural feasibility
In this stage, the project's alternatives are evaluated for their impact on the local and
general culture For example, environmental factors need to be considered and these factors are to
be well known. Further an enterprise's own culture can clash with the results of the project.
2.7 Financial feasibility
In case of a new project, financial viability can be judged on the following parameters:

 Total estimated cost of the project

 Financing of the project in terms of its capital structure, debt equity ratio and promoter's
share of total cost
 Existing investment by the promoter in any other business
 Projected cash flow and profitability
2.2.1 Hardware and Software Requirements

Hardware requirements:
 Minimum 5 GB space In HDD
 IBN Net vista Pentium 41.7GHz
 BG ULTRA HDD 7200 RPM
 48 x CD ROM
 System type 64 bit operating system
 RAM 2.00GB(1.74 usable)

Software Requirements:
 Ms Word

The automotive industry is a wide range of companies and organizations involved

in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and selling of motor

vehicles.

It is one of the world's most important economic sectors by revenue. The

automotive

industry does not include industries dedicated to the maintenance of automobiles

following delivery to the end-user, such as automobile repair shops and motor fuel

filling stations.

The term automotive was created from Greek autos (self), and Latin motivus (of
motion)

to represent any form of self-powered vehicle. This term was proposed by SAE
member

Elmer Sperry

The automotive industry began in the 1890s with hundreds of

manufacturers that pioneered the horseless carriage. For many decades,

the United States led the world in total automobile production. In 1929
before the Great Depression, the world had 32,028,500 automobiles in use, and

the U.S. automobile industry produced over 90% of them. At that time the U.S.

had one car per 4.87 persons. After World War II, the U.S. produced about

75 percent of world's auto production. In 1980, the U.S. was overtaken by Japan

and became world's leader again in 1994. In 2006, Japan narrowly passed the

U.S. in production and held this rank until 2009, when China took the top

spot with 13.8 million units. With 19.3 million units manufactured in 2012,

China almost doubled the U.S. production, with 10.3 million units, while

Japan was in third place with 9.9 million units. From 1970 (140 models)

over 1998 (260 models) to 2012 (684 models), the number of automobile models

in the U.S. has grown exponentially.
