I have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the 3rd International Sustainable Energy
Conference 2024 (ISEC 2024) and important pre-meetings, co-organised by AEE Intec and UNIDO,
from 8 to 11 April 2024 in Graz, Austria. The conference is focused on “Renewable heating and
cooling in integrated urban and industrial energy systems”. As you are aware, the heating and cooling
sector does not get sufficient attention and there is only limited advancement regarding renewable
energy integration. The conference covers a broad range of topics: https://www.aee-intec-
events.at/callforabstracts/ topics.html. We will have a particular session on the SOLTRAIN program
implemented by SACREEE, which will also feature the attendance of ECREEE and EACREEE.
The event is an excellent opportunity to connect with European experts from applied research
and industry. The event will also feature an Austrian National Workshop on Solar Cooling for Sunbelt
Regions, organised by the IEA SHC Task 65 on 8 April at the same location, particularly interesting
for those engaged in the SHC program. It will also include study tours to interesting demonstration
sites on 9 April.
Your participation and valuable input would greatly contribute to the Conference. Enclosed is
an agenda of the ISEC2024. UNIDO will fully cover the cost for round flights (economy class return
ticket from your country of residence to Vienna, Austria), and a lump sum Daily Subsistence
Allowance as per UNIDO financial rules to cover your board, lodging, local transport and other
incidental expenses.
