BOOK REVIEW ON THE BOOK “TIGERS
FOREVER”
- Ruskin bond
"Tigers Forever" is book that takes the reader into the complex world of wildlife
conservation and the ongoing battle to save one of Earth's most iconic species, the
majestic tiger. This book is written by Ruskin bond who has authored more than 500
short stories, essays, and novels which includes 69 books for children.
This book is a collection of stories and poems about the tigers, India’s national
animal, and their fight for survival in a world that is increasingly unfriendly to their
existence. The short stories contain simple words that make it easy for the reader to
understand each and every line that the author wants to communicate. The story
depicts the care for the extinct going animal TIGER by the author. It spreads us the
awareness to take care of national animal and not let them go extinct. The narrative
is both informative and inspiring, taking readers on a journey across various tiger
habitats around the world. The book is not only informative but also make you grin
is certain points of the story which doesn’t make the story boring.
Although the book may highlight the efforts of conservationists and scientists, it
may not sufficiently include the perspectives and contributions of local communities
living in or near tiger habitats because they are the people who have better
knowledge on these species which would enhance the ways of developing effective
and sustainable conservation strategies. Despite few limitations, "Tigers Forever"
remains a valuable resource for those interested in tiger conservation and I would
highly recommend this book as a must read for anyone who loves wildlife or is
interested in learning about the way they could contribute to save these species
and the biodiversity of our planet. I would rate this book for a 4.5 out of 5 counting
all the merits and demerits of the book.
