VOCABULARY MEANING NOTE
1. Pivotal (adj) - Crucial in relation to the development or success
of something
Eg: The discovery of penicillin was pivotal in the field of
medicine
2. Paramount - More important than anything else; supreme
(adj) Eg: Ensuring the safety of the students is paramount
3. Overhaul (n,v) - an examination of a machine or system, including
doing repairs on it or making changes to it
Eg: The company decided to overhaul its outdated IT
system
4. Pioneering - Involving new ideas or methods
(adj) Eg: Marie Curie received an award for her pioneering
research in Chemistry
5. Catalyze (v) - To make a reaction happen faster (xúc tác)
