Introduction
Community service is important for building a sense of belonging and responsibility among
individuals. It brings people together to support their local environment and improve the overall
quality of life for everyone involved. This program aims to organize a community clean-up day
in Mandaluyong, specifically around José Rizal University. The goal is not only to beautify the
area but also to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage community
participation. By uniting the community for this clean-up, we hope to educate participants on
the importance of caring for our environment.
Effective Waste Management Solutions:
Paving the Way to a Cleaner, Thriving Society
Effective waste management is a vital component of a cleaner, healthier, and more thriving
society. By implementing comprehensive solutions that prioritize waste reduction, recycling,
and responsible disposal, we can create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
PLACE & RECIPIENT OF THE SERVICE
The clean-up will take place in Mandaluyong, specifically outside José Rizal University. This
area serves as an important recreational space for students and local residents, as well as a busy
thoroughfare for vehicles. It is crucial for maintaining smooth traffic flow and providing a safe
environment for pedestrians. By organizing this clean-up, we aim to enhance the cleanliness and
ecological health of the surroundings, ensuring that the community can enjoy a cleaner, more
inviting space. This initiative not only benefits those who frequent the area but also fosters a
sense of responsibility among community members to preserve their environment.
