Ethics and Morals of a Lightworker

These are some of the basic ground rules for anyone working in a spiritual way, be it
mediumship, healing, or psychic. It is important to have some ethical and moral
boundaries as our words, actions, and behaviour can have a huge impact on clients,
be they paid or free.

• All work must be kept strictly confidential. A visit to a psychic or a

medium is like a visit to the Doctor. It's personal, delicate at times, and
life-changing.
• DON’T PREDICT A DEATH.
• Do not predict – lottery, fertility, pregnancy, or anything to do with a
crime
• DON’T PLAY GURU – Do not think you are the only person who can
help them. Some people can become addicted to readings or healing.
Do not give readings to people on medication, known mental illness, or
those who require medical help.
• Do not counsel! Do not turn readings into a counseling session. If you
are working with Spirit or with a soul-to-soul basis, the information must
come from obvious sources, not your personal opinion about a
situation.
• DON’T MAKE EXAGERATED CLAIMS – You can’t guarantee that you
can communicate with the person that they want to hear from in spirit.
Nor can you guarantee to solve their problems. Or heal someone
without medical intervention.
• Know when to stop – when your subconscious mind kicks into the
reading
• DON’T FORCE YOURSELF ON PEOPLE. – There’s nothing worse
than the overeager psychic who pushes clairvoyance onto people while
waiting for a bus, for instance. Some people just aren’t ready yet to
hear from their long-dead granddad
• Know the time and place – not after drinking or in a social setting.
• Never diagnose illness or offer to heal an illness

THE DO’S
• INSTIL OPTIMISM. – Try to see beyond bad events to better times. Of
course, there may be obstacles ahead but help the person realize the
power of positive thinking. You’re a useless clairvoyant if you only
breed despair.
• STRESS FREE WILL. – A prediction that inhibits a person’s growth is
worthless. If, for example, you said to a young girl, “Your marriages will
all end in divorce,” they probably would. How could a marriage last if
they’re subconsciously thinking that it’s doomed? Clients may
remember things they’ve been told for the rest of their lives.

The mediums have to be responsible, honest, and be true to Spirit. . When the spirit
world is working, they are aware of how much the relative can take. They will not be
happy if you were to use them as an excuse to lecture or counsel the person.

You can change the direction of the person infront of you. Your words can influence
– build the person up or tear them up.

Disclipine – walk and be normal. Turn it off.

The tools available for all of us to use, but not many are aware of:

CLAIRVOYANCE
Clairvoyant (clear vision) -- impressions, and symbols in the form of "inner sight" or
mental images which are perceived without the aid of the physical eyes

CLAIRAUDIENCE
Clairaudience (clear audio /hearing) -- To perceive sounds or words and noise

CLAIRSENTIENCE
Clairsentience (clear sensation or feeling) - To perceive information by a "feeling"
within the whole body, without any outer stimuli related to the feeling or information.

CLAIRSCENT - (clear smelling) – To smell a fragrance/odor of substance or food

which is not in one's surroundings. These odors are perceived without the aid of the
physical nose and beyond the limitations of ordinary time and space.

CLEARTASTING- taste a substance without putting anything in one's mouth.

Mental mediumship – the unseen experience between you and spirit. Using your
mind, and body to communicate.
