One night, Martin watched from his window, a trail of light falling from the sky, the speed of the light increasing
more and more so Martin felt scared and curious at the same time. The light landed on an abandoned lot just a
few meters from his house, so he gathered his courage and went to investigate the origin of that large and bright
light.
He found a large crater at the crash site and right in the center was something disc-shaped, which was
undoubtedly a flying saucer or an alien spacecraft. The door began to open and the boy did not even have time
to run when a very strange creature came out. It was a dark jade color with huge ears that reached the floor, it
was approximately two feet tall and had wrinkled skin, Martin managed to suppress a scream as the creature
began to speak.
–Hello, my name is Stalisky, I am from a very distant planet, my ship broke down, so I could not complete my
trip to Venus and I fell on this planet. "I'm Martin," said the boy, shaking his hand. "How do you know how to
speak our language?" –Our race has learned the cultures and languages of the 25 habitable planets we have
found in space. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me repair my ship, as our error-correcting
technology does not work on planet Earth.
Martin happily agreed, and for several weeks he went to the ship's location to help with its repairs. He and
Stalisky became very good friends, and shared knowledge with each other. Martin learned that we shouldn't
judge anyone or anything by their appearance or race, but that we should help everyone in any way we can.
When the time came to leave, they said goodbye with a hug and some beautiful words. Martin could not stop the
tears from running down his face as Stalisky's ship rose higher and moved further away from the earth.

THE WORLDS..........................................................................................................................................................1
The wise man was determined to discover if there was life outside his world. To this end, he spent hours and
days observing through his telescope. One night he said to his obliging wife: “You know? Today I had the
intense sensation that a gigantic eye was looking at me from the sky. "Nonsense," she said. Come on, dinner is
ready.
At that very moment, in a very different place, someone said:
―You know, dad? Today, while I was playing with my microscope, I thought I felt a tiny eye watching me from
the slide.
"Bah, nonsense," said the father. Come on, dinner is ready.
