4 Read the following text and answer the questions:
Ibn Majid is the person who made it easier for us to travel on the sea
today. He was the first Arab seaman, and he learned how to navigate the
seas. As he got older, Ibn Majid became known as a master navigator.
He used a compass, but when he saw it could work better on the seas,
he improved the design. It was then more reliable for sailors to use.
Over the years, Ibn Majid wrote 38 books describing what he knew.
Some of his books had information about routes to different places,
and some described the history of sailing. They helped sailors travel
from the Arabian Peninsula to India, East Africa, and other places.
He even wrote poems!

For a long time, people have dreamed of traveling away from the Earth
to visit the moon and some of our planets. Until recently, most people
thought that space travel was a dream. But man’s dream of traveling
to the moon has become a fact. Rockets are so powerful that they can
travel through space at a great speed and at a great height. During the
flight, space travelers face some problems. They become weightless
and they need oxygen tanks to breathe. Man has been able to reach the
moon and walk on it. He has even collected some rocks and put scientific
instruments there to send information about the moon. As there is no air
or water, there is no life on the moon. However, some people expect that
there will be space cities in the future. Do you agree with them?
