Research experiences
- Rejuvenating Kallyanpur Canal (bracu.ac.bd)
as a prototypical solution to canal restoration across Dhaka city
Supervised under Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed, pursued as undergraduate thesis.
- Experimented and documented Mens’ stories on how they perceive women’s
struggles during a 3 month long online course with Bard college on “Impact of
covid 19 on women”- an OSUN Summer course, supervised by Jennifer Browdy.
- Conducting a study to find out the most impactful causes behind the lack of
women in leading positions in architecture in Bangladesh. Abstract is submitted
for publication for the book “Global South Solutions to Global Social Problems”.

Deyall.arcmag Architectural magazine
Founding member, Lead editor (January 2023 - ongoing)
- Founded and designed the web-based magazine. In charge of overall content
and operations. The magazine discusses multifaceted branches of the
environment and built forms through writeups and illustrations.

Intern (March 2022 - May 2022)
- As a team member, working under Kazi Khaleed Ashraf, I was in charge of
planning and designing 2 zones within the city of Rasadnik. I also prepared maps
and presentation visuals for the “Urban planning solution for Rasadnik, Skopje, in
Macedonia Competition”
- As a research associate, I documented “Revati Mohan Das house” from the early
20th century which was published at the “Hidden Heritage” website.
- As a research associate I helped to collect data and to propose planning
guidelines for a well designed RMG Factory.
- Research and design for publication of compilation and study on Social housing
for Bangladeshi Landscapes by Bengal Institute (ongoing study)
- As a design associate I helped prepare multiple construction drawings while
providing planning solutions for Katcharibari, a complex at Savar, Bangladesh (on
going construction)
- Project architect for construction and interior design of LUCKNOW, an Indian
restaurant. (completed construction, 2022-2023)
- Project architect for construction of a Community Center for under-represented
women, Narail(ongoing construction)

- Served as a mentor at the workshop “Exploring New Contextualism 2.0: An
Approach to Architecture and Urban Design” arranged by Brac University.
- Participated at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2023 to
compete for the futuristic green bridge design over the Hangang river.
- Studied a busy node of Dhaka, the Gulshan 2 chatter to assess the scale of
publicness, a workshop conducted by Md. Arfar Razi.
- Practiced communication through writing at Publicness and the commons, a
workshop conducted by Parsa Sanjana Sajid.
- Certified Classical Dancer, after completing a dance course of 5 years at Bengal
Academy of fine arts and a 3 years dance course at Bangladesh Shishu
Academy.
- Completed a music instrument playing course (Hawaaian guitar)of 3 years from
Bangladesh Shishu Academy to end as 1st place holder.
- Theater artist and Master of ceremony of multiple student orientation programs of
Brac University and cultural programs at Bangladesh Shishu Academy.

by Brac University, Department of Architecture

Bangladesh)

nominated for 4th cycle of KSRM - IAB Thesis of the year award 2022 (top 24)
