Dear friends and fans of BMW M Motorsport
We are delighted to present our new top model and successor to the
BMW M6 GT3, the BMW M4 GT3.
The M4 GT3 has been developed on the basis of the sixth generation
BMW M4 Coupe. Both the M4 Coupe and the GT3 variant are icons of
BMW M and prime examples of the technology transfer between series
production and motorsport. In each model, our engineers have combined
the best of both worlds and created a top-of-the-range model that will
cause a sensation on race tracks around the world and in North
America.
The BMW M4 GT3 first hit the track on July 18, 2020 and has undergone
an extensive testing program since. In 2021, the M4 GT3 will enter selec-
ted races around the world to continue testing under real competition
conditions. This means we will be able to offer you a fully developed race
car from the start of the 2022 season. Private drivers and teams will then
be able to compete for victories and titles with our new top model in all
GT3 racing series and endurance classics, including the IMSA Weather-
Tech SportsCar Championship, GTD Pro and GTD Classes and SRO GT
World Challenge America.
In the BMW M4 GT3, we have developed a vehicle that will continue
the long and successful tradition of BMW M vehicles in GT racing. You
too can be part of this success story! Please enjoy this brochure and
start familiarizing yourself with the M4 GT3. It won‘t be long before you
can step behind the wheel.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF SUCCESS.
The steel chassis produced at the BMW plant in Regensburg, has a welded-in safety cell which fully meets the latest FIA safety
standards, in conjunction with the permanently bolted BMW M Motorsport racing seat.
Motorsport-specific electronics from BOSCH Motorsport help manage the engine, transmission, ABS, traction control and
displays. It meets the latest requirements and enables a wide range of versatile settings.
Developed with high-end and state-of-the-art racing components like fast brake calliper and disc exchange systems, fast
couplings for brake lines and an optional refuelling counter display, to ensure ease of maintenance and simplified trackside
operations.

AND THERE’S MORE.
One of the key development objectives was to simplify regular trackside operations. To do this BMW M Motorsport has
developed an intuitive, integrated tool. The BMW M Track Cockpit allows teams to make relevant settings directly in the vehicle
via the display and steering wheel without the use of a laptop or special software. Functions such as a PitTimer are also fully
integrated and can already be used in the base model without additional equipment.
The BMW M4 GT3 cockpit includes a dashboard mounted BMW M Track Cockpit system to check and adjust systems,
sensors and settings, a BMW M Motorsport carbon racing seat for maximum safety and comfort, interior lighting as standard,
dimmer function for switches and displays and an adjustable steering column and pedal box.

production resources, including the cooling/air-conditioning system, BMW Aerolab aero development, chassis development
by the Regensburg plant, as well as on BMW’s own test tracks, the BMW M4 GT3 has been consistently prepared for use on
