Course Title: PSY5003: Advanced Psychological Assessment

Course Description:
This is a practical skill-based learning course that acquaint students with assessment
techniques and instruments. Students will be involved in conducting clinical
interviews, history taking. They will also be trained in structured methods used in
assessment including both objective and projective methods and tools. The course
will also provide students with an up-to-date knowledge about the evidence based
assessment procedures for various psychological disorders. It will enable them to
make informed judgments concerning the selection and use of assessment
techniques and write assessment reports in a scientific manner.
