8- Concrete surfaces in contact with soil will be insulated with three coats of tar paint, extending 30 cm above ground level.
9- Excavation slope inclinations are set at "1: m" where "m" values will be determined in accordance with the values
provided in the geological report and will be adjusted on-site by the Control Engineer depending on the ground conditions.
10- Please refer to the geotechnical survey for measures to be taken regarding the conditions of the ground where the structures will be built.
11- If groundwater emerges during excavation, the Control Engineer will be notified, and the groundwater will be removed by pumping.
12- In case the excavation reveals that the ground does not meet the qualities specified in the geotechnical survey and
project design criteria, relevant parties will be informed accordingly.
13- If harmful chemicals are found in the soil or groundwater that could damage the concrete, precautions will be taken according to TS 3440 guidelines.
14- All pipes will be installed with welded sealing collars before concrete pouring. Under no circumstances
will concrete be broken to create pipe holes.
15- Safety ring ladders will be installed in civil structures where the structure depth H exceeds 2.3 meters.
16- The painting and insulation of pipes and other metal components in the structure will be carried out in accordance with
the paint system principles specified in the relevant clause of the contract.
17- During the preparation of formwork, pipe openings will be left according to the mechanical design drawings.
18- A vibrator will be used during concrete pouring.
19- If the excavated material is suitable, it will be sorted to remove stones and debris, then layered and compacted.
20- The compaction ratio of the fill material will be a minimum of 98%.
3 21- In civil structures where the structure depth H exceeds 6 meters, a rest platform for ship ladders will be constructed every 6 meters.
