Global Supply Chain Means business where Resident Importers purchase goods or services from
overseas to support production and distribution of goods and services by
Resident Exporters for their export. This includes domestic trade transaction
between the Resident Importer and the Resident Exporter undertaken
through Resident intermediaries.

Foreign Currency refers to Foreign Currency import payment with a Non-Resident; Foreign
obligations Currency loan repayment; and other current account transactions in Foreign
Currency with a Non-Resident.

PART B : TO BE COMPLETED BY RESIDENT EXPORTER
Pursuant to Bank Negara Malaysia’s Foreign Exchange (FE) Notice issued on 15 April 2021, I/we
hereby confirm and declare as follows:
1. That I/we am/are a Resident Exporter and have Foreign Currency export earnings;
2. That I/we have paid or will be paying to other Resident involved in the global supply chain, in
Foreign Currency for settlement of domestic trade in goods and services using my/our Export
Proceeds retained in Trade FCA or proceeds from a Foreign Currency trade financing facility;
3. That I/we shall not convert Ringgit into Foreign Currency to pay to the Resident(s) mentioned
in item 2 above; and
4. That I/we shall provide the supporting documents as and when requested by the Bank.
