INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This is a practical project that should be done by students in groups
of people for a duration of three Weeks
2. Each Student is required to submit a spiral bound copy of the report,
a project burnt onto a CD
3. Students are supposed to present PowerPoint slides of the report in
addition to the system
4. Knowledge of code and Java Concepts is highly required and will be
examined.
5. Each member of the group shall be assessed individually
6. Each group will have a maximum of 15 minutes to present
o 3 Minutes for Slides
o 5 Minutes for the System
o 7 Minutes for Questions
QUESTION
You are required to identify an IT related problem from within your community i.e.,
your village, neighborhood or even your home. Using an IDE of your choice, create a
desktop application using BM.NET that solves the problem. This application should
have the ability to connect to Oracle/MYSQL database management system. Come
up with a solution to the problem and write a brief report including details of the
topic, introduction, background, and problem statement, objectives (major and
specific), scope (detailing the geographical and functionality scope) and significance.
In the report also give a brief description of how your system works with help of
screenshots.
The project will be presented on the date set for the final exam
