FEBRUARY 21, 2025

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. Maximum 38 participants per department and maximum 2 departments per college.


2. Participants in the flagship events, team events, and Mute Maestros can also attend Vogue
Professionale and Rhythm Divine events.
3. Students participating in flagship events cannot enroll in multiple flagship events.
4. Registration fee of Rs. 200 per participant.
5. Participants should submit the registration form on or before 21-Feb-2025.On-the-spot registration
is applicable only for valid reasons.
6. All the participants should bring their College Identity Cards.
7. The flagship events will be awarded more weightage than team events while deciding the
Overall Championship.
8. The decision of the Jury is final; no appeal will be entertained.
9. In all the events, the medium of communication should only be in English.
10. Participants should not use Mobile Phones during events.
11. Participation certificates will be issued to all the participants.
12. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
13. Participants are expected to maintain discipline and decorum at all times inside the
campus.

FLAGSHIP EVENTS

1. Excalibur: The Ultimate Manager Challenge”

This event aims to identify the participants' leadership qualities and highlight their ability to face
challenges, inspire growth, and drive organizational success.

Rules
· One participant from a department is allowed.
· The event involves five rounds to assess leadership abilities and expertise.
· Participants must follow a formal dress code for this event.
· Participants should bring their laptops and updated résumé.
Evaluation criteria
· Based on the leadership skills
· Decision making & Problem-solving skills
· Professionalism
· Creativity

Timing: 11.00 am – 1.00 pm


2. Whiz Execs: Battle of knowledge

This event is an exciting and engaging competition designed to test participants' knowledge across
various aspects of business, including marketing, finance, strategy, and current industry trends.

Rules
· Each team should have 2 members.
· Only one team from a department is allowed.
· The quiz comprises various rounds of questions about the business world.
· The participants must bring their laptops or mobile phones for this event.
· The best teams will be shortlisted from the preliminary round for the next level of
rounds.
Evaluation criteria
· Accuracy and Number of correct answers.

Timing: 11.00 am – 1.00 pm

3. Media Moguls: Marketing extravaganza

This event is a creative and interactive contest with multiple rounds where participants will design logos,
create posters, and produce videos to showcase their skills in visual storytelling and digital content. The
objective of the event is to create engaging posters, advertisements, or any other form of content that
highlights the features of XIBATE'25.

At the conclusion of the event, a media campaign will be organized across social media platforms to
showcase the participants' work and drive wider engagement.

Rules:

- Teams must have 4 members.


- Each department is allowed to submit only one team.
- Participants are expected to bring their laptops and any necessary technical tools for the
event.
- A DSLR camera / iPhone / any mobile device with a good camera is required.
- The event theme will be announced on the spot.
- This event is a great opportunity for students who are passionate about media, creativity,
and digital content!
- Both Tamil and English languages can be used during the event.
Evaluation Criteria:

· Creativity and Originality

· Visual Impact

· Overall design and layout

· Clarity of message

TEAM EVENTS

1. Clash of Capitals: Bid to conquer

This Event is a thrilling, high-energy occasion where teams bid for players to build their ideal squad
It's a strategic and competitive process, where teams make crucial decisions to strengthen their roster.

Rules:

· Each team should have 4 members.

· Teams will receive a list of players and their base prices before the auction.

· Each team will be allocated a fixed virtual budget (e.g., ₹ XXX crore) to bid on players.

· Teams must manage their budget wisely to build a balanced squad.

· The squad must consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 15 players.

· The auction process will be conducted within a fixed time frame.

Evaluation Criteria:

· Team Strategy and Planning

· Player Selection and Value for Money

· Budget Management

· Squad Balance and Composition

· Team Coordination and Decision-Making

Timing: 11.00 am – 1.00 pm


2. Pitch Perfect: Showcase of Innovative Ventures

This event is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs and startups to present their business
ideas to a panel of judges, investors, or industry experts.

Rules:

· Each team should have 1 to 3 members.

· Prepare your Business plan in PPT.

· Each team will have a maximum of 7 minutes to present their pitch.

· This will be followed by a 3-minute Q&A session with the judges.

Evaluation Criteria:

· Problem Identification

· Solution and Value Proposition

· Market Analysis

· Viability and scalability of the business model.

· Financial Projections

· Presentation skills

· Response to questions

Timing: 11.00 am – 1.00 pm

3. Vogue Professionale: The Corporate Runway

This event is a unique team-building event where students participate in a group walk, designed to foster
collaboration and encourage cross-functional networking.

Rules:

· Each team should have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 members.

· Each team will have a maximum of 4 minutes to present their ramp walk. This includes
the walk and any additional elements they wish to include (e.g., music, narration).

· The theme for this event is Youth G5(Gentleness,Gratitude,Growth,Greatness and


Generosity)
· Music, props, and other elements should complement the theme and not overshadow the
ramp walk.

· Teams should submit the audio files with good quality in MP3 format. The college is not
responsible for the audio quality of the music.

· Teams should avoid any offensive or inappropriate behavior or attire.

Evaluation Criteria:

· Theme Adherence

· Coordination and Synchronization

· Creativity and Originality

· Confidence and Stage Presence

Timing: 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm

CULTURAL EVENTS
1. Mute Maestros: Weaving art in silence

This event is a performance-based competition where participants use gestures, facial expressions,
and body movements to convey stories or emotions, without speaking a word(mime).

Rules:

· Each team should have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 members.

· Each team will have a maximum of 5 minutes to perform.

· The theme for the mime performance is Youth 5G (Gentleness, Gratitude, Growth,
Greatness, Generosity)

· The theme should be appropriate and respectful, adhering to XIBA's code of conduct.

· Teams must prepare their performance without using any spoken words or vocal sounds.

· Music and costumes can be used to enhance the performance but must complement the
mime act. Faces to be painted.

· No props to be used.

· Teams should submit the audio files with good quality in MP3 format well in advance.
The college is not responsible for the audio quality of the music.
· Any inappropriate behavior or offensive content will result in disqualification.

· Expression and Gestures

· Creativity and Originality

· Synchronization and Coordination

· Overall impact

2. Rhythm Divine: Step Up to the Dance Floor

This event brings together participants to showcase their synchronized dance moves, creativity, and
teamwork.

Rules:

· Each team should have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 members.

· Each team will have a maximum of 6 minutes to perform.

· Submit your music in MP3 format.

· Teams can choose any fusion style of dance.

· Music should be appropriate and respectful.

· All costumes and props should be appropriate and safe for performance.

· No explicit lyrics or provocative steps.

· Professionalism and decorum must be maintained at all times.

Evaluation Criteria:

· Choreography and Creativity

· Synchronization and Coordination

· Energy and Expression

· Costumes and Props

Timing: 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm
