THE SHERLOCK
HOLMES MUSEUM
Last weekend, my family and I went
to The Sherlock Holmes Museum
in London, Sherlock Holmes is
the main character of a series of
detective stories by a Scottish author,
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The museum was small but interesting, I looked around the
different rooms. I saw lots of Sherlock Holmes’s possessions
(00. [also met characters from the books ~ but they were actors!
[enjoyed learning sbout Doyle. He wrote four novels and
56 short stories about Sherlock Holmes. He became famous,
because his stories were very good. He was born in 1859 and
he died in 1930.
My favourite thing was the museum shop. It had nice souvenirs
and good books, and the prices were cheap. I bought 2 book
about true detective stories.
[ really enjoyed iy visit to the museum, The only problem was
that it was very busy. We waited for half an hour to buy our
