d) Check path parameters

17) Go to Production / Select path and choose a path by double click

18) Click (L) on a module/click (R) and select Path parameters

If the path is adjusted, it’s possible to create the first production.

Also it is possible to change an existing path parameter later. With Level 3, the path parameter
is visibly only, Level 4 or higher can make any changes only.

Note:
- The path-parameters are parameters, which refer to the paper movement direction.
- Are the path-parameters correct and adjusted right to each module, then those parameters are
always stored in this path. The path with those settings will be cross linked with individual productions.
If a user chooses this production, all the right path-parameters will be written to the respective mod-
ules. (Also see chapter “create a production”)
-Different paths with different parameter settings can be saved in one network.

Example for a simplex/duplex line:

1x path simplex, LI4 Par.7001 printer Configuration: Simplex
1x path duplex, LI4 Par.7001 printer Configuration: Duplex

- the LI4 path parameters are available at the printer icon

‘Hunkeler_20110112’
8) Remove the memory stick and restart the HLI, or the entire computer respectively.

b) HLI Configuration Restore

A backed up configuration of the HLI can be restored from an appropriate media (e.g. a mem-
