Post Subject Qualification

Essential:
1. Two years’ Integrated
Post Graduate M. Sc Course of Regional College of Education of
NCERT in the concerned subject;
Or
Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50%
marks in aggregate in the following subject as per the Post:
Physics
PGT Pol. Science
a) PGT (Physics) Physics.
b) PGT (Political Science) – Master’s Degree in Political Science
2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be
preferred if suitable otherwise.
3. Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.
Desirable :
Working knowledge of computer applications.

Computer Essential :
Science At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
1. B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University
or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university
PGT recognized by the Govt. of India.
OR
B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in
Computers from recognized University.
OR
 M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized
University.
OR
B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate
degree in any subject from a recognized University.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in
any subject from recognized University.
OR
‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.
OR
‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and
Communication Technology and Graduation.
2. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Essential :
1. Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of
Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50%
marks in aggregate;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned
subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The
electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as
English under according to posts:
Hindi a) For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
Maths b) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
Science c) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
TGT d) For TGT (Maths): - Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of
Sanskrit
the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics,
Computer Science, Statistics.
e) For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET),

conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by
the NCTE for the purpose will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be
preferred if suitable otherwise.
3) Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.
Desirable :
Working knowledge of Computer Applications.
Essential
(i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and
2 year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4
year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2
year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
(ii) Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET)

For Assamese- Assamese as a Major subject in Graduation or

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any Science subject/

Vocational Degree/Diploma Certificate from a recognized University/Institute

Instructor and Professional competency in the concerned field. Certificate in

Nurse B.Sc. Nursing /Diploma in nursing from recognized Institute.

Yoga Instructor Graduate in any subject or equivalent from a recognized

University and at least one year Degree/ Diploma in Yoga from a
recognized Institute.
Special Educator 1. Any Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed. in Special
education.

day. Late entry will not be entertained.
4. Interview Process: - Online Registration, Document Verification, Interview. For
the Posts PRT and Computer Instructor, if more than 25 candidates found eligible,
Screening test will be conducted to minimize the candidate for interview.
5. Remuneration: (*As per KVS norms)

6. Candidates are to bring, photographs, filled application form, self-attested Xerox copy of all the
certificates and mark-sheets (of all the years separately, e.g. 1st year 2nd year 3rd year etc.) along
with original ones for verification.
7. Experience in the area concerned will be counted for every completed full year. If it is less than one
year no weightage will be accorded. Maximum weightage will be 5 (1 per year). Working experience
will be counted if the experience is of the same post applied for.
8. Candidates are to fill separate forms for different posts they apply and add need to Xerox copies too.
9. Application Form which is attached herewith may be utilized.
10. No TA/ DA would be applicable for attending the interview.
11. Maximum age of the candidate for all the posts would be 65 Years.
12. Selection procedure and exemption etc. would be as per the KVS norms.
