Use the prompts below to make a dialogue.
Student A
You work at an international company and you want to plan a night out with your colleagues. Talk
about your plan with one of your colleagues.
* Start the conversation.
* Invite your colleague for dinner at a restaurant at the weekend, on Saturday if possible. If Saturday
is not OK, Sunday suits you too.
* Decide on the details with your colleague:
- Where: Suggest the restaurant La Cigale. Suggest meeting at the train station near the
restaurant.
- When: Suggest meeting at 8 p.m.
* Respond to any suggestions.
Student B
You work at an international company. Your colleague says he/she is planning a night out. Listen to
him/her.
* Respond to his/her invitation. You are free on Sunday only.
* Respond to your friend’s suggestions:
- La Cigale ✓
- Meeting at the train station X (Suggest meeting in front of the restaurant.)
- 8 p.m. ✓
- Invite your friend for a coffee after dinner.
* End the conversation.
