Directions:
1. Use your WWI Soldier Experience Document and any other worksheets on WWI along with the
discussions we had in class to create a sensory figure to represent a type of person fighting in WWI.
2. Your figure will be a soldier fighting for the Allied Powers during WWI.
3. For your figure, identify who they are and the country they are fighting for including what they think,
see, feel emotionally, feel physically (body, hands, feet) and what they might say.
4. On the back, write a short 5-7 sentence letter to the family of this soldier, including a general summary
of the soldier’s experience, their emotional state, what they have seen, etc.
