Passport Rquirement

Regulations require you to submit legible photocopies of all pages of all of your passports that have
beenvalidduringtheperiodyouhavebeeninU nonimmigrantstatusintheUnitedStates,your
equivalent trarel document, or an explanation of why you do not have a passport.

USCIS acknowledges you have submitted two expired passpor8 with your Form I-485:

The designated civil surgeon must:

o Complete theoriginal Form I-693 in its entirety;

o Properly sign the Form I-693; and
. Seal the Form I-693 in an envelope.

AcceptableVersions of Form I-693

Starting May 31, 2023, USCIS will only acceptthe March 9,2023, edition, These dates are based on
when the civil surgeon signs your forrq not when U SCIS receives it, T his means you may also use the
J uly 19, 2022, edition if the civil surgeon signs your form by May 30,2023.1f the civil surgeon signs
your form on or after May 31, 2023, you must use theJ uly, 19,2022, or March 9,2023, edition. Y ou
can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions. Dates are listed in
mn/dd{y format. Y ou can obtain the current version of the Form I-693 on the USCE website at
wunru. usci s,gov/i-693.
